Always like the gauntlet (3 different style tacos with three different meats) but the specialty tacos are to die for. This establishment frequently has the best fish tacos in the city - style and type of fish vary according to season. Empanadas are good. Dessert tacos are decent but not as good as the other items. There is also a taco truck which is impressively true to tie quality of the restaurant. The bathroom is only for the able-legged, extremely well-balanced and non-claustrophobic. That said, ranks high on my fave weird bathrooms of RVA.

Tasty taco fusion! The menu is rather small but everything on it is pretty good. They do a good job of blending flavors and the portions are decent. All three of my tacos were pretty stuffed and had a lot of meat. They usually have some pretty decent beers on tap as well. Its a small place but they stuffed a decent number of booths in there. Definitely one of my favorite places to grab a bite.

Good tacos, really filling. I liked the pork and beef ones the best, the meat was really flavorful. The Asian flavor taco I thought was really unique and really good. The inside is small with 80s movie posters decorating the walls, a little dive bar-ish, but that gives it character. Definitely a late night hangout spot, well and after work, 2$ margaritas from 5-6!

best tacos in Richmond! Theyre fusion tacos so dont go in expecting super authentic. But with brisket, shrimp & grits, and pork belly tacos I dont think anyone should be disappointed. Service is frequently slow, especially when the bartender is the only server. Pretty unreasonable for the bartender and unfair to the customer.

I tried the chicken tacos done in all three of their styles and all were excellent. Their Asian style is one of my favorites. They also have a good draft list (short but good) and when I was there in mid-December they had Hardywoods Gingerbread Stout on tap.

The other reviews really overrate Boka Tako. The tacos are decent at best -- the chicken in particular is totally flavorless. The restaurant is nice and cozy and has a really nice beer selection -- just dont expect your mind to be blown by the food.

I love this place, the staff was very friendly and I thought the food was better despite them saying it all comes from the same place. Definitely check out the bathroom if you go, by far one of the strangest bathrooms Ive been to haha
