After spotting this restaurant walking down Granby one day, and reviewing the yelp! and Google reviews, I was so excited to go and invited several of my coworkers. Other diners food looked amazing; however, after nearly an hour we had to cancel our orders due to not receiving our food. There was only one person working the cash register and waitressing. The place was very busy and Order Up patrons seemed to get priority over dining in guests. Needless to say, I was very upset and very likely will never return. What a great first experience? And when told about the nearly hour delay, the staff merely offered to pack the food to go with no type of compensation for our wasted lunch hour. We declined. If you plan to go during lunch or any other time constrained time period, order ahead!

$4 seaweed salad came as a 1/4 cup of seaweed salad placed on top of a bunch of iceburg lettuce and carrots... not cool. the seaweed salad was a bit off texture-wise. the prices here are higher than any other place ive been to with similar food. the vegetables are all from the freezer and taste as such. i ordered ahead on line and it wasnt ready til a good ten minutes after it was supposed to be, and i ordered ahead for the purpose of not being out passed my allotted time for my work break. they were nice enough, but the seaweed salad really put me off, as did the freezer veggies. the general tsaos sauce is great but their chicken was a bit dry and crunchy and got stuck in my teeth. i doubt ill ever go back. i will say their crab rangoon is the bomb.

I am a TCC Norfolk Campus student and this is my favorite restaurant to eat at aside from LATTE CAFE and The Grilled Cheese Bistro. The workers are such sweet hearts and they love their customers. I always ask for lite rice because I waste it (really at every chinese restaurant I go to) and they give me the perfect amount of everything. Plus, TCC Students get the lunch special price ALL DAY! I love these guys and send people here regularly when they have a little bit of cash but dont want to spend it on crap. I LOVE YA YA!

From all the reviews was hoping for a lot but was super disappointed. The crab Rangoon were overlooked and had very little filling. The pork dumplings were bland. The duck sauce was awful. The pork fried rice was dry. The general tsos chicken was a B minus at best. The scallion pancake was good, but for $2.50 was not happy with the portion size. All in all a terrible meal will definitely not be ordering from here again.

With friendly wait staff, some of the most reasonable prices in downtown Norfolk, and a great "American Chinese" menu of your favorites, done very well, and done the way you want, this is one of the best lunch spots in this part of the city. It is THE place you should go if you want Chinese.

Cant go wrong selecting anything from this Asian fusion menu! The food is fresh and prepared perfectly. Crispy Shrimp Shumai, Pan-fried homemade pork dumplings, Triple delight (chicken, beef and shrimp) with veggies, and my favorite is the YaYa Special fried rice. All good!

Overall Great Chinese!! Delivery time sucks, I wound up calling back to make sure they had the correct address, took about 45-55 mins but portions are huge, first time trying Shrimp Panzit (?) and it just added to my experience. Will definitely be going back to Ya Yas

I ordered delivery of Ya Ya Asian today for the first time. The Moo Shu shrimp and Singapore Mai Fun were both excellent. Hot and sour soup was hot, and they loaded in lots of extra cookies and sauces. Excellent job Ya Ya!

A lunch time favorite spot. They are pretty quick and food is great. If youre in a hurry you can order ahead and pick it up. Nice lunch menu choices. Pair well with well-made hot and sour and egg drop soups.
