I recently moved to the Berwick area, and had a taste for Chinese, and wanted to find the good buffets around here. Someone told me about Yong Hao, and I decided to give it a try, and am sorry I did. I dont know what some of the reviewers on here were thinking, but there is very little selection and variety here. I went around 6pm, and much of the food was undercooked. The broccoli in the "chicken and broccoli" was actually cold!!! Egg rolls had a bitter taste to them, and even the "soft serve" ice cream had a gritty texture to it (seemed like someone ground up ABC gum into it). Also, later on, I had one of the worst stomach aches ever, that was very painful and kept me up all night. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars was because the price is reasonable (8 or 9 dollars for the dinner buffet). Do yourself a favor, stay away, if you are looking for takeout, Five Star Chinese, or Great Wall are better bets, or if you are looking for buffets, Prosperity Buffet is a good bet.

Definitely not my favorite in town, but one of the better buffets if your feeling very hungry. The food tastes very average, but there is a decent sized selection, and a lot of americanized foods as well. Sadly, one of the best foods is the fresh fruit they put out, as its fresh and tasty. I would also avoid takeout, and be weary of what times you go. For example, the lunch buffet runs from 11AM to 3PM. Anything after 1 or 2PM tends to be cold, soggy, and downright nasty. If you go before 1 though, the food will usually be decent. Prices are decent, but theres better. Try 5 star chinese in Hazleton, its literally the best place Ive ever been country wide. Ive spent the last 2 years traveling to many states, and 5 star chinese is still the best!

Amazing, Great service! Im not too sure what the other people on here are talking about. I eat there weekly and have never gotten sick the food is the best in hazleton for Americanized Chinese five stars food is average and expensive. Yong Hao has amazing food at a very reasonable price. The wait staff is always friendly and eager to remove your finished plate or get you another drink. I say you should try it!

awful awful awful. About 2 years ago. 3 friends and I decided to go for dinner here. Being broke college students, you cant beat the price ( at a cost ). From the moment you walk in, its just sticky. Everything. The seats, the table, the forks/spoons. We ate however, and ALL 4 OF US had to go to the doctors. Each of us had food poisoning at both ends. Read the health inspection people! Stay away!!

these kind of chinese rest"room" are everywhere and should not be called real chinese food. I will never go back to another one ever. Whoever call these food The Best obviously dont know anything about food. You ask the server if those cook smoke while they cook your food. The truth is 100% YES.

Its not the best Chinese food, but it is pretty good and significantly cheaper than other places. They have a limited variety but cover the basics and a little more. Its normally not crowded and they have a selection of bench or normal seats as well as a room on the side for private parties.

Another buffet in Hazleton is bigger with more selections, but this store is friendlier and the quality is better than the big store. The young man and woman who usually manage the store remember their regular customers and seem happy to see them.

My husband found a hair in his chicken and broccoli. They said they were sorry and didnt charge for his soda but did charge for his coffee. They gave him 15% off his meal. A whopping $1.48. Last time well eat there.
