I had the great opportunity to visit Nawab Indian Cuisine today for the first time with my wife and one of my sons. I have never been to an Indian restaurant and was not sure how I’d like it. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot – the aromas coming from the kitchen hit me and I knew I was going to love it. The building looked plane on the outside but was very stylish and nice inside. A cool statue of Ganesh was in the lobby and on making our way to the table we passed by a large granite wall hanging with water cascading down the granite. The aroma of the spices and herbs and dishes was making me want to run to the buffet. Upon reaching the food buffet, I was amazed at the dishes that I knew nothing about. But they all looked great. I tried them all. I’m still not sure of the names of most. Each dish had amazing flavor and was fresh and had a kick of flavor explosion. The bread was fantastic too. The veggies were all fresh and prepared deliciously. My absolute fav was the Tandoor Chicken. I read that it is made in a Tandoor barrel shaped clay pot over a wood fire. – I need to see that some time. I asked but was told next time – they were preparing for dinner. The flavors amazed me and I need more soon. I also will try to learn to cook some like that too. My son is a vegetarian and he loved the choices and flavor of the dishes. We all were stuffed and happy. I’ve never been to a buffet with so much amazing great flavor and joy. The service was very good. I think this would be a great place for a date dinner – nice and cozy and delicious but not over the top. The price of our buffet was about $ 10 ea – that is amazing considering the quality and freshness and work that went into preparing that great food. I can not wait to return. I’m going to learn the names of the dishes and the spices and herbs and be better on my next review. Don’t postpone Joy! Go try Nawab – it will not disappoint! I’ve posted some photos of my visit.

Hit the spot! So good. Some of the best Indian food the area has to offer. We ate dinner here on 2/15/17. Malai Methi Corn, Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan and *Paneer-Mango-Chili Kulcha (this right here is where its at!) Malai Methi Corn is a creamy blend with just the perfect pop of corn followed by a punch of delicious heat afterwards. No other Indian place in this area offers anything like this. Methi (fenugreek), onions, cream, corn, spices make up this unforgettable dish. We ordered medium heat for all the entrees but this one was more medium-hot and that is the way you should eat it. Palak Paneer is creamed spinach with chunks of Paneer. My husbands favorite. When its on, its on. Tonight it was on. Chicken Tikka Masala. Tender chunks of chicken in a creamy tomato, spiced cream sauce. Also, excellent. This is one of the most commonly ordered dishes in all of Indian cuisine in the USA. If youve never tried it, try it here.

I ate lunch today. I was nearby that area and was looking for Indian restaurants as it was lunch time. Two names popped up in my search. 1. Nawab 2. Tamarind Of the two Nawab sounded better and has slightly lesser better reviews compared to #2. I was surprised to see me being the only desi guy eating there. Also they had lord Ganesh idol when you walk into the restaurant and then had beef curry as an item, which seemed odd. I didnt mind so tried other items. They were all so bland and prepped for a taste non desi people would like. I would say "naam kuch aur andar kuch aur" title would be apt instead of "Nawab". I will be in that area next month and will try Tamarind. Very disappointed as I had been to an Indian restaurant in several months and experience at Nawab left a very bad taste in my tongue. Good luck to others who would still like to try.

Extremely bad experience. The mixed grill for $19 was a complete waste of money. Looks like the chef put fish, chicken, lamb etc on the same skewer. Nothing was cooked except the fish and everything went to garbage immediately. I would definitely advise and even urge patrons to look somewhere else. Undercooked chicken should never be eaten, but that was what was served. I am sure the chef was “really” paying attention. Beware, you have been sternly warned against against patronizing this place. Do so at your peril........hopefully this helps save a family’s pleasant evening being ruined....

The food is always delicious and each time we take the opportunity to try new choices from the menu we are never disappointed. My husband and I consider a night at Nawab a special treat and we always enjoy our evenings spent there. The service is impeccable, the people friendly and the prices very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Plus, they are always happy to accommodate my unique spice limitations, which is to say very little spice as opposed to my husbands desire to try it hotter each time. Go, you wont be disappointed.

From first walking in to finishing and walking out this was a great experience. The lunch buffet has the usual Indian cuisine on it with a few delicious extras and all are flavorful. Their dinner selection is great with chefs that are knowledgeable and are confident in their ability to cook even special Indian foods that are not on the menu. Great service with watchful personnel that are mindful of refilling drinks even if seated in a back corner. My wife and I shall continue to patronize this establishment.

Went to the restaurant looking at the +ve reviews while returning from Labor day vacation. We tried the buffet. Food quality was ok, service was very poor. The food for buffet was kept in vary small quantities, and we had to dig out the chicken out of the gravy. Nobody picked up the used plates from our table even after repeated requests and they kept on piling(for 8 of us). Glasses, plates and spoons had food sticking to them. A horrible experience...I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

There must be something wrong in the kitchen. Bug comes in the food. Once you report to Hispanic person there so called manager didnt even came back to say a single word after I reported the situation. He just got my plate back in the kitchen. Another lady came and started defending her side of the story but as a customer who cares there should be no bug in any food. OH I will give you some DISCOUNT. Can you really believe that came out from here but no sorry or apology of any kind.

Ive been to a LOT of different Indian restaurants, and this one is really good! The buffet has a good selection, and has all the wonderfully distinct flavors you hope for. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, white tableclothes, good lighting and has an open feel WITHOUT feeling like a cafeteria. The lunch buffet price is the same as any other indian buffet, nine bucks or so, but the quality tastes more expensive. Try it for yourself, I bet youll enjoy yourself and your meal.
