If this was the first time I had an awful experience here I wouldnt be writing this. Let me also say completely honestly that these guys have awesome food. But if youve seen Seinfeld, theyre a bit like the Soup Nazi. Because their food is good, they think you should be powerless and expendable as a customer. Im neither. So the least I can do is warn others. Cons: -run out of EVERYTHING you want EVERY Sat night like clockwork; tonight it was no potato or Channa at 740p (they close at 8p, which is too early anyway but hey); they also had no beef, no doubles, no pholorie or aloo pies; again, they run out of these EXACT same items EVERY week; wouldnt you just make more? -so about two months ago, my wife and I go for dinner like we did at least twice per month: on this occasion her roti was so filled with gravy that her roti skin damn near disintegrated; this was the first time this happened in about 6 years of frequenting the joint; we bring this to the attention of the owner (who has one of the worst attitudes of a person who wants u to spend your hard earned money) at which point she offers to sell us a new roti skin for $3, instead of giving us one and recognizing weve been frequenting this spot for years I could go on so Ill just say that if you want this awesome authentic Trini cuisine, arrive early and with steel nerves. However, if your self respect and customer service are kinda important--pass.

The food was outstanding. The goat roti was cooked to perfection with the meat being tender and the roti being a more-than-ample sized wrapper for the delicious insides. We also had the jerk chicken entree which had to be the best weve experienced. It was very spicy and fragrant, but not overpowering - with the chicken being moist and falling off the bone. The beans and rice were also well prepared. Ordered a side of plantain which didnt disappoint. It was caramelized perfectly and quite literally melted in the mouth. Dont even give a second thought to the simple interior, minimal supply of utensils and other niceties of a full service restaurant. If you must, bring your own flatware and plates - but whatever you do, dont let this shortcoming get in the way of the tastiest island food you will find in Baltimore.

I discovered this place while talking to a fellow Trini. I have tried all the other Caribbean food places as far as DC. Now that I live in Bmore, I have been getting food here now for more than one year. I have had doubles (very very good), goat and chicken roti, pumpkin, the house specials, callaloo. Everything has true authentic flavor. Big portions too. My children, the food critics, love the doubles and the chicken roti. Try it, youll be back for more.

Hands down best roti in BMore. So excited to find this place. For vegetarians out there, the pumpkin, potatoes, and channa roti was amazing. I couldnt eat it all, so I even had left overs. Wonderful staff and cool vibes. Best West Indian food I have found in BMore. I recommend the roti and the coco bread. Excited to come back and try more great food!

Food was tasty. I got a oxtail meal and goat roti. My friend had a goat meal but said it was a bit cold. The place is small and cozy with not much seating. Our food took a few minutes to come out but we didnt mind. I would visit again.
