My girlfriend and I drove 30 min out there because I loved Fuddruckers. I remembered how it had a friendly staff and great atmosphere and a restaurant tryle decor. Now when we went there, it was not the experience I expected it to be. Originally, there was a waiter and they waited on you. For here, you order your food and they give you a buzzer. Ok, that killed my expectations a bit. The better part of that night were the 2 children screaming thier heads off in the dining area. (Which were just benches.) So we ate what we ordered and the burgers had nice seasoning, dont get me wrong, but dear lord it was dry. We spent $40 there for inadequate decor and dry food. Beautiful. Oh and I almost forgot. So we ordered milkshakes with our meals. So we get our food when the buzzer starts to go off and we dont have our milkshakes. Turns out the milkshake lady had no idea where we were. But the really irritating part was the fact that the milkshake lids werent even on and when she said, "I knew I forgot something. I forgot which milkshake was which. Hey, can you open your straw and check them?" Yep, I had my hopes up to relive that great experience that I remembered back when I was growing up but nope. This experience really wasted my time and expectations.

Today, my family and I decided to go here to spend mothers day. First impressions are EVERYTHING and we will NEVER come back to this establishment again. There were so many things wrong with this place. When we first walked in there were no signs, no employees letting us know how this restaurant worked. Apprently you have to go to the cashier and order your food, they give you a little buzzer thing, you go sit down and when the buzzer goes off you go get your food.. Well thats what the employee that was in line in front of me said. But we are looking around and theres no place for us to sit. We are a family of 7, we wanted to sit together. There were people sitting any and everywhere. I didnt even order and a guy asks me did i need something else? Like what?? I got soooo frustrated with that unorganized place that my family and I left. Maybe if there were signs or an employee pointing first time customers to where you should go and what they should do, it wouldnt have been such a bad experience. But maybe its just me.

No Customer Service! The Manager on duty Shareak. Refused to compensate me for a wasting my time. I came in and ordered a kids hamburger meal. I received a cheeseburger. My daughter is lactose intolerant. I asked what they were going to do with the burger and he told me they were throwing it away. I said I have another child that can eat cheese so can I have that for my wait. He said no. I can offer you a milkshake. I said I just told you my daughter is lactose intolerant I dont want a milk shake. Everytime we go in there we spend at the very least $40. And you are going to loose the business over food you are going to throw in the trash. Bad customer service and lacks business sense. He could have made me happy over food that he can no longer use and kept my business. And dont think I wont tell all of my friends, family and co-workers about the horrible customer service I received.

I was first and foremost very impressed with the cashier, Nicole, who greeted me. They were very busy, but shes super polite. This was my first experience at Fuddruckers, and she made sure I understood the combo meal process and efficient manner without tying up the line behind me. She walked me through all of the decisions I could have made, and even gave me a combo Card to make sure I came back. They even had a hosting attendant was walking around making sure clients were enjoying their food. The place was fairly neat, not overly so, as they were very busy. But I was very impressed with the service here. I receive my food under eight minutes, which I thought was fair given the quality as well as the time of day. All food was hot, its amazing, very tasty. The hosting attendant came back to more times so Im sure that myself and the other and customers were satisfied

My parents and I went here for the first time and we liked the food. The restaurant was very full for lunch so there werent many places to sit. The line was long and the hallway we had to stand in was very skinny. The room was very echo-y so we couldnt hear each other when talking. The atmosphere was not spectacular because of those things but the food was delicious! I had the buffalo chicken sandwich with Bleu cheese and it was yummy. It was not too spicy and you put your own toppings and condiments on your food so it is just the right taste that you like! The people who work there are very nice and patient. They were kind even when something we wanted to order was out. They suggested something else and it was good. Overall, i would go again but take my food to go, or not go at peak hours.

My wife and I have always loved Fuddruckers. We were very sad a few years back when all the nearby Fuddruckers closed down. When we found out this location was opening up, we were ecstatic, and thankfully it didnt disappoint. Weve been there several times now, and the place is clean, the burgers come out the way you ordered them, and the fixings station is sufficiently stocked. For anyone Thats never been to a Fuddruckers think about it this way; where most restaurants focus on all the fancy toppings you can put on a burger (and they have some of this too), Fudds is more about the quality of the meat, the fresh baked bun (except for the whole wheat ones), and putting your own toppings on your burger. The bakery items and milkshakes are also quite good.

Im really glad Fuddruckers is back in southside Hampton Roads. When the Greenbrier location closed I started going to the location on VB blvd, and then that spot closed to the dismay of many, Im sure. IMO, they cook one of the best burgers you can get. (Yes there are a few restaurants that make a great burger too like 80/20 and AW Shucks) Definitely better than 5 Guys, which is an over-rated and over priced burger spot. If I could make a suggestion, I do wish they would put some trash cans out so patrons dont have to guess whether to leave their tray on the table or take it up to the counter. Im bringing a large group of 20+ this weekend and I called ahead to let them know. I spoke with Alexis who was very gracious and accommodating.

TERRIBLE!!!! Terrible service and terrible food! I ordered a cheese burger with chili and bacon. When I got it, it was cold. So I took it back and all they did was pour a little more chili on top of cold chili and put it under a heat lamp for a couple minutes. Like thats gonna make my hamburger hot the way its supposed to be. So I took it back again and spoke to one of the kitchen managers and he then started to argue how they fixed it by putting more chili on top of a cold burger and putting it under a heat lamp. I had to argue with him before he even suggested remaking my meal. By far the worst restaurant I have ever ate at! Do not go here!!!
