You haven’t had a burger until you’ve had a Pinesburger at Glenwood Pines, according to chef Jordan Andino, adding, “It feels like a gigantic 10-ounce piece of meat.” Of course, it was his last meal of a very long day of very heavy meals. It’s actually just a six-ounce patty with cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. The restaurant runs an ongoing contest that awards a T-shirt to anyone who eats four Pineburgers in under an hour. Play at your own risk!

This place is a gem, they have a wide variety of food for all tastes, their burgers are great but I always go for their Tuna steak, popcorn shrimp or pork chops. They always have a nice selection of beers on tap and other drinks. Imean also told their Bloody Mary is amazing. Their owners and staff are always great and friendly and the building has such a great character. One more thing, their views, views, views. A must if youre visiting Ithaca

We went there because we heard the burgers were the best in Ithaca. They were awful. Super greasy, on bread from the Ithaca bakery which was more like a sub roll. I asked for some cut up carrots or cucumber on the side for a healthy alternative to fries and they could not accommodate that. My childs spaghetti was over don end the sauce and meatballs were gross. I couldnt wait to get out of there. Disgusting!

Introduced to their signature Glenwood Burger by friends a couple years ago. Even though it was a big burger, it was so good I wish I had ordered two. Whenever we are in the area I make a point of stopping by for another even if it is 20 miles out of the way. The Pines is casual dining to be sure, it is all about the food. The scenic view of the lake is a nice plus.

The waitress was rude. She stood at one end of the table and had everyone shout their orders to her and had everyone pass food down like it was an assembly line. My spaghetti and meatballs were disgusting. My husband ordered a side of onion rings and they gave him literally four rings and charged over three dollars for it. Worst place Ive ever been too!

The burger is good, but definitely not the best one in Ithaca as they claim. The French fries taste really good. Nice and crispy. One more thing that I experienced one or two times is that they dont cook the burger the way you ask them. I get medium rare every time I ask for medium. Keep that in mind if you care about doneness.

WHAT A DUMP!! Me and a friend went in to grab something to eat. Told me the burgers was good. Yeah right!! Awful food, awful service, the burger was the worst. Over charged me for nothing. And I had onion rings on the side. But I only got like three or four of them. CRAZY!! NEVER AGAIN!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ITHACA.

Just outside of Ithaca is a small well run restaurant Glenwood Pines. The food, from burgers to entrees, is always delicious, affordable, and consistent. The food comes out quickly, the wait staff is great, and the charming building has a view of Cayuga Lake. Enjoy!

Overrated! Food was salty and not that great. I would have given 1 star, but at least the food was fresh. And they nickel and dime you- $12 for a burger with no sides b/c you order sides seperately. Probably would have tasted ok if I was drunk.

So dissapointed!! Save your money and just go to Five guys or Friendlys. Burgers were okay, seemed like boxed burgers would have been better. $3 for fries and only had 5 on the plate, service was really slow.

The best restaurant in the Ithaca area! Delicious food, very friendly and quick service, excellant prices. I always get the fish fry with coleslaw and salad, and Kentucky Derby pie for dessert.

Awesome service and food! Great beer selection and view of Cayuga Lake! Enjoyed a special of the day caesar salad and buffalo shrimp. Perfectly full! Definitely recommend :)
