We used a "free lunch buffet" coupon the last time we ate here, but the waiter snuck an extra charge onto our bill (this was listed on the receipt as a separate meal, NOT a gratuity) to raise the total. The servers have become rather rude lately, and the food is just ok -- buffet options are very limited. Pricey unless you have a coupon, and even then youll need to check your bill carefully to make sure theyre not being sneaky. We used to eat here regularly, but wont be going back. In response to another reviewer -- Our coupon said nothing about automatic addition of a gratuity; I have another copy of the same coupon in front of me to verify. The extra amount was not on the bill until we found an erroneous charge and asked the server to remove it. The incorrect charge was removed and this other "mystery buffet" was added, but I didnt catch this until after I left.

We were 8 adults and couple of kids under 8 yrs. The WORST and WORST part is their billing system as they charged 20% for the taxes and also charged $100 TIP extra because we were more than 6 adults in number. Yes, you heared it right just because we were more than 6 adults they have charged us $100 more without letting us know before charging.Never experienced this before in life time. The food portions absolutely did not match the price charged and chicken biryani being charged $14 did not even match the taste of Paradise Biryani Pointe (forget about better than that). Very annoying with this kind of behaviour. While having our food we thought we might visit again but when we saw the bill of approx $500, we decided that this is our last visit. Need serious improvement in their billing system and portions if not prices. Thanks for reading.

Had a nice dinner here, paneer makhani and lamb vindaloo were both good, the vindaloo being spicy and the makhani being sweet. I would say add chile pepper to the makhani sauce to balance the flavor bc it was almost too sweet for me. Tried the garlic naan and it was delicious with little blackened bits and a nice texture. I must say that the standout of this place is the service, our water glasses were constantly refilled, and every waitperson working came by our table to check on us ( I guess everyone helps everyone here) and bring us what we needed. Everyone seemed to really be working as a team and everyone was pleasant. A shorter older man was especially outgoing and made sure we were satisfied and asked us to please come back to visit them

Excellent, i might sound insane but, Im privileged to have this restaurant opened near to my place. The food was too good. No words to describe. I love it. I will visit again and again. The tasty food i have ever had so far in US. It is reasonably low cost buffet for just $12 (including taxes). Interior design and look was impressive. If they maintain the same way, they are going to be the best indian restaurant. Finally i want to say Rangoli made my day. All the best. I recommend this restaurant to all of my friends. The best part is that they have kids menu and kids buffet for lesser price. Perfect place for both vegetarians and non vegetarians

Incredible. Complete satisfaction. I have been to the lunch buffet several times. Every dish was very tasty. The buffet has a nice variety of selections and is an excellent value for money. Cozy ambiance and good music. Food aside, The employees were very helpful and considerate. And more than anything this completes the perfect dining experience. I liked the butter chicken very much. Unlike most other Indian restaurants the Idly here was well made. It tasted and felt how its supposed to. I have noticed that in other Indian restaurants the idly is grainy. I would definitely recommend this place for a good Indian meal.

I love this place. Its a lot like Bombay Bistro, but with a little bit more toned down atmosphere. The food is great--pretty standard selection, but the quality is as good as any other Indian restaurant in the DC Metro area, and head and shoulders above most of them. The best part about eating here is probably the service. Not only is the wait staff very patient and accommodating, but, more often than not, the owner himself will actually come by your table to make sure everything is to your liking (at least in my experience). Very nice contemporary Indian restaurant.

Food is ok. Prices are also ok, portion sizes - are not ok for the prices they charge. They bring 1 Naan, 1 Paratha and etc.... - usually, you get 2 or 3 for the same rate. Deserts are tiny . . . . rasmalai were quater-size (???) Kabobs came without rice (in other restaurants rice comes by default with the entree) They close at 9:30pm on Sundays. We got our bill at 9:25pm without even asking for it. I wouldnt got there again - there is Minerva Restaurant 2 miles away! Way to go!

We are family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children - we used a $10 coupon that they provided and when the final bill came they added 20% service charge on original bill amount not on discounted amount. It is too bad on the Restaurant part. first of all for 4 people they should not add Service charge on their own. If you cant give the coupon dont give. But very bad on your billing department part. VERY BAD. VERY BAD. not recommended.

Food was average. Lamb kabob was good. For main course, we ordered medium spicy but both lamb masala and gobhi manchurian were very spicy (also spicy more towards chilli and not of garam masala) and difficult to eat. Chicken biryani tasted more like Pulav and was disappointing. We went there after reading all positive experience but not a good experience. Hard to think of a reason to visit again.

Cozy and elegant atmosphere. Appetizers were delicious. Chef sent out a try-it and it was nummy. Staff ensured every mouthful was a sensation and made me feel as if my response personally mattered. Like being with family. Do not come here if youre in a rush. Instead bring friends and family and expect to have time to catch up and enjoy a meal together.

Good food, service. Very polite staff. We went there for the lunch buffet yesterday. Dishes were excellent. Ms Sugandhi, and Mr Mohammed were 2 of staff members that have absolute pleasant smiles. Decor was nice. Great attention by the managers down to the smallest detail, including the cutlery. Overall, a great dining experience.

Went to get masala dosa and asked for extra sambar but what I got was smelly dosa with yellow adi daal. Never go again . First I was so happy that u found indian food in manssas ans dont have to go fairfax but I rather go there. Not worth spending money there unless you havent eat indian food before I or dont know the tast .

I just had an absolutely magnificent meal at Rangoli. We went on a Saturday at 1 and although the place was full, we received excellent service. All the food on the buffet was tremendous and continuously well stocked. The desserts we received were indescribably delectable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food is delicious and service is terrific. Highly recommend it, we tried several different appetizers, their version of butter chicken and chicken Dhania which was recommended by our server and it was excellent. My husband wanted to try their dessert Gulab Jamun was one of the best we have had. So glad to have them!!!
