Nice place. Friendly and enjoyable. Lynn is very attentive, but it seems you need to be a certain type of person to get the same service from some of the other girls. I really like one of the managers style. Quiet, mello, and he commands the respect of the staff. I think he does a very good job of keeping the store running smoothly. Ashley is another good one and very attractive, as is Nicolettea. Very sweet, and helpful when Im unable to decide what I want. Others can seem to pester you when you deciding, but Ashley as I said is helpful and respectful. On the bad side, you need to watch where you sit or who serves you. Some of the waitress only pay attention to certain types of people. It is quite annoying to wait 5, 10, or 20 minutes for fresh coffee when you can see your waitres at the other end of the store flirting. You dont get this from Ashley, Lynne, Nikkie or Bell. Oh, and to the servers that dont bother with applying the military discount when Soldiers are in uniform, dont worry about it. Im just not going to leave a tip for you.

Went in with my wife and the only good thing was the cook. The food was great but the waitress we had checked on us twice, let me run out of drink and was sitting down with the other employee talking while we waited for her to come back to check on us. When she finally came over she made the waffle but brought it to us not fully cooked. The experience here was horrible but thankfully your third shift cook can actually cook.

Order the basic thing on the menu and I waited for 20 minutes and nothing came through, then you had your Virginias Petersburg or whatever is the best cops is what Im talking about talking to some females inside the restaurant nonchalant the worst unprofessional establishment Ive ever been to, Virginia is on a whole different waves

The food is great but the serving staff is mean as hell and this place is so live at night I would never suggest anyone go there from around 11pm till 4am [nothing but trouble]. Furthermore the toilet rooms arent separated enough from the eating areas making the dining experience hard to stomach [the smell is awful].

Best breakfast ever down south!! Service was quick. Im from up north and I never had grits this good. The biscuit was very light and tender and the bacon was delicious not salty. Oh of course the waffles yum!!! Nice and hot and fluffy. Cant wait to come back soon.

I like the fact of being able to find a Waffle House almost in any city that I visit. The staff here at this particular store was very courteous and especially jovial. They frequently asked if I needed anything else and were quick to serve me as I requested more.

Was on the road early to MD, called my order in 10min before arrival. When I got there they werent busy, but my order wasnt placed. Just 6 employees, standing around chatting..left disappointed and went to McDonalds for breakfast to go.....do better guys. Smh

After leaving the colonial heights location we went to Hopewell. I have to say the service was a lot better and it was clean!! The guy kept it clean on the counter and on the grill.the food was cooked like asked.

Best breakfast in town. Want real eggs, come here. Even busting busy, you get good service. Be patient with these folks, they are human too. If you expect instant service anywhere, stay home.
