Amazing donuts. I would gladly go out of my way an hour to have these over dunkin. The lines are quite long ane I agree that either the staff or the space is inefficient. Personally if they stuff the corner with so many people it would make more sense to have more frosting spaces spread out and since theres only one order receipt printer have someone distribute that to each station. To address the other review I dont think spewing off about a "corporate town" really helps your cause. If time is as valuable commodity as it is to everyone else you find a way around it. Have you ever considered the idea to call ahead to order? Being in the corporate world means you figure out solutions, not cry about time and badger your (or other) staff; it just creates more issues in the long run. Edit: To also add to that with some credit the reviews addressed were a few weeks earlier than today and perhaps the lines were so bad that it was frustrating to the reviewers, or perhaps the business has worked out the kinks. Our wait time was approximately 15-20 minutes on a saturday and well worth it.

This is tough. I will say on the outset that this review is a review on process. I give it a low star ranking so others may see this and make a well-rounded decision. The donuts are fantastic. I have many favorites personally and everyone Ive brought them to at work love them. The downside is it takes a really long time to get your donuts, even when there is no wait. With 2 people in front of me its a 10-15 min wait. When the place is packed good luck getting out within 30 min. 15-30 min for a dozen donuts? I would be here every week if I knew it was a 5 min stop because the donuts are that good. I am now relegated to once every 4 months because the delays have cost me dearly, and this is even waking up early because I know its a long wait. Never go on a Friday if you are in a rush. This is a place you come when you have plenty of time to kill.

After months of waiting I was so excited to walk to Duck Donuts (just a 5 minute walk from my house) and taste these amazing things I have heard so much about. I was disappointed. I went again last night to give it another shot. I was disappointed. If you are only going to sell ONE donut, make it the best donut I have ever had. I also found that the glazes and toppings werent exploding with flavor either. I love donuts, cake donuts and yeast donuts. I have been to every donut shop in Northern Va. Sugar Shack in Alexandria, District Donuts and Astro Donuts in DC are hands down better than these and even a drive to Alexandria or Dupont is worth it to get a Krispy Kreme hot glazed donut just coming off the belt.

Hot, fresh cake donuts with a variety of delicious toppings to choose from. I shared a half dozen with co-workers who all couldnt stop talking about how amazing they were all day long. My personal favorite was the maple glaze with real bacon crumbles on top. I cant wait to go back to try a donut with a scoop of ice cream and the orange glaze topping, or maybe Ill try the peanut butter topping and chocolate sprinkles, then again the chocolate glaze was so dark and rich I bet itll be great with the ice cream. Doh, too many yummy choices. I guess Ill just have to get another half dozen to take home. This time Im not sharing

I am so happy to finally have a good donut place in the area. Ever since Dunkin Donuts decided that their coffee business is their focus and started selling only stale donuts made off-site, Reston has been a wasteland for donuts. Duck Donuts is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The donuts are served hot and fresh. More importantly, the donuts themselves are very tasty, even before adding icings and toppings. They appear to be doing a booming business so far, so you might have to wait in line for a few minutes for your donuts, but they are definitely worth the wait.

Couple donuts from Ducks and sugar rush is sure to kick in !! Maple bacon donut is the bomb, chocolate coconut donut is the second bomb !! Super fresh, soft, warm, sweet and delicious donuts prepared right in front of your eyes. To be honest I didnt realize these were cake batter donuts until I read some of the reviews here. Love the taste. A small place in a strip mall, always a little bit crowd, majority of them are kids running around the shop. They also have couple tables inside to dine in and offer coffee as well.

Im not reviewing the donuts, because we didnt even get any. My son had been looking forward to going to DD for awhile, and I assumed it would be open as late as ice cream shops. We arrived at 7 and there was a girl stationed outside informing us that they were already closed. My son burst into tears. I know I should have checked the hours, but the fact they had to station someone outside the door indicates the customer demand is there to stay open later. Well go back and try again, but it was a sad first experience.

Excellent service!! The people were friendly and the donuts were great! They are made to order and come with a variety of icings and toppings! They are served warm and oh so deliciously good! I had one with maple icing and sprinkles and one with chocolate icing and coconut! I am never going back to Dunkin Donuts after trying these!! (Well, unless I want a filled donut, which is the only thing that Duck Donuts doesnt have, but that wont stop me from giving them five stars.)

My fiance went and bought some the other day for his employees and got me one as well....I think they are awful! Sorry but i dont know what people are repaving about? the donuts are not fluffy, jsut chewy, and they glaze was hard after just an hour....tastes like old frying grease...i dont know, no offence but to add the waiting time on top of that is like.....omg. i need to open a real donut shop! people, you dont know what good food is! I am going back to dunkins....

Awesome Warm Donuts, especially with their ability to customize the toppings. Maple Bacon remains a perennial favorite of mine. However, the seasonal toppings are great to try out whenever they are on the menu. The service at this location was great. The personnel working at this location ensured that donuts ordered were always freshly made after order was placed. Depending on the time of the day, there may be a wait but never more than 5-10 minutes in my experience.

These are different kind of donuts. Some like it and some dont get the hype these have in OBX area. To me, I thought they are not bad. But nothing like the delicious cake style donuts you get say at a place in DC called Astro doughnuts or the freshly made ones at Krispy Kreme. These fall in between for me and definitely not worth a drive from Ashburn unless you want to get something different for your kids.
