This is by far the worst place i have ever ate at. I tried this place multiple times, different times of the day, an every time was worse than the time before. One of the ppl I was with witnessed a staff member doing something extremely discussing. A server brought chicken out to put on the buffet. She had gloves on an took a rag, and wiped down the counter. She then took her hands with those same gloves on that had touched the DIRTY rag and grabbed a piece of the chicken. She broke it up to check an make sure it was done. Placed that same piece of chicken back in the pile for a customer to eat. Mind you never changing those gloves. When my friend reported to the manager, he made several excuses and promised he would go talk to the staff member. Considering the fact that he didnt know which staff member it was i consider it odd that he promised to go SPEAK with someone. While making these empty promises we took the time to ask questions. He made us aware that they only change the tongs three times a day and that HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE a day come in there. How does that meet any kind of sanitary guidelines? When you think about all the times the things fall back into the food, How is that ok? We than watched him go back to the front never speaking to anyone. When confronted again about the fact that he didnt talk to anyone he kept promising that he did. Worse customer service ever. We finally got our money back, after back an fourth arguing of course. Smfh, the place is filthy. Wouldnt be surprised at all to see this place shut down the because it need to be. The only safe time to ever go in there is first thing in the morning an even than its suspect. Take a good look at your utensils and plate because there slacking on that as well. If after reading this you still decide you eat here, just remember the hospital is right up the street! May good be with you.

I was unsure about this place because of the poor reviews others have given it but I decided to try it and I am glad I did. I went for a late dinner on a Wednesday night and the place was still pretty busy. The cashier was a bit on the unfriendly side but I honestly could not blame her with how many people she was dealing with. The waitress I had was really good though and quite nice. She did a great job and I have no complaints there. I was happy with the food. It is not superb but this is a buffet and one of the better ones I have ever been to. There were some choices that I thought were not any good and some that I liked quite a bit. I absolutely love the never-ending steak and the cook was accomodating to however you wanted it cooked but if you want it rare, you better order it because he never makes it otherwise. I never made a trip to the bathroom so I cannot say anything towards that but the rest of the place looked pretty clean despite the amount of people there. My last comment is that if you can go to dinner late (7:30 or after), the place really clears out. I arrived a little before seven and had to look for a seat a little but at a quarter before eight, I was one of maybe four or five tables in the section. I have to say I was satisfied overall and would go back here any time. I paid $26 for two and I think thats reasonable for what we got. I would definitely go back.

This evening I was out and about with my 7 year old daughter shopping for her birthday and we decided to try this place for dinner. The staff were all very friendly BUT this restaurant was far from clean and my 7 year old crinkled her nose when we walked to the salad bar section stating "It smells like a dirty barn in here" When I got to the lettuce I had to point out to the server there was a wadded up receipt in the salad itself!!!!! She picked it out of there and acted as though it happens all the time!!! REALLY THOUGH??? The meat selections tasted dried and old. This is the one and only time I will ever try a Golden Corral restaurant Not impressed whatsoever!! The conversation during this meal with myself and my 2nd grader was that Robert Irvine from the tv program Restaurant Impossible needs to start working on Chain restaurants as well... dirty smelly carpet, filthy sticky wooden blinds, and employees on Cell phones texting when they should have cleaning rags and some sanitizer in their idle hands. I dont know where spokesperson Jeff Foxworthy enjoys his Golden Corral meals but it definitely is not in Fredericksburg VA.

A very good restaurant...,but very busy on Friday Nights. Nice, attentive and friendly staff. A large choice of Menu items (hot, salad and dessert bar), but I couldnt understand why he Grill Cook wouldnt cook my Bacon wrapped steak medium-well (he told me that he could only cook the Bacon wrapped steaks medium). Im inclined to believe that it was because they wouldnt use too much Bacon-wrapped Steaks :-( The only thing I can say negative about this restaurant is that after 2 trys....my steak was more like medium-rare :-( My spouse and I didnt use the Restrooms, so we cant say anything about them. The best thing is the price...$10.20 + Drink ($2.00), for the whole never-ending Buffet :-) My spouse and I will be coming back again!!!

Worstest place ever first of all whenwe get steak it always raw and always the same old dude wearing the blue shirt say Ill talk to them LIES. They are racist MOFOS!! they accused us of stealing we did not just becuse we are spanish doesnt mean always we steal,They check our recipts without asking. Food is cold. Bathrooms is very dirty poop smeared on the walls made holes in the walls pee all over. The Salad bar was horiible shrimp was frozen steak was burned. Theres hospital if you need to go bye

My son wanted to go here for his birthday. It was really busy, which is fine, but the cashier got flustered and overcharged us so I had to get that fixed, and then our table was under an air duct that was dripping on me. Eww. I told the staff that I saw, but no one offered to move our table or anything. It wasnt that great a value either. For the 11.99 plus almost $3 for a drink I could have gotten something much better, but its what the kid wanted for his birthday. Never again.

It was busy but everything moved pretty fast. Its an all you can eat pretty cheap buffet and I got better than i expected. Nothing there is WOW amazing but the Staff was very nice and the food was pumping. As busy as it was everything was humming like a well oiled machine and that impressed me. I cant go 5 stars though since it was a bit messy (likely because of the massive number of people in there) but I would happy with everything over all and will visit again.

the food was ALL cold. (to include the pancakes, and bacon for thier morning trays. not to mention Im pretty positive they gave me food poisoning. it was the only place i ate at yesterday and Ive been vomiting since. I hope your lawyers dont suck as bad as your food. this is the worst place Ive eaten at in a long time. its a little after 6 am and im still vomiting and may miss work. Golden Corral needs to be shut down.
