I would give no stars if it was an option - we have tried hard to like the place as our local and I suspect the owner is okay, I feel so so sorry for him - the angry hostile woman who serves needs therapy - she will nickel and dime you beyond belief, we have been going for the pasta special on monday and the pizza special on Tuesday - yesterday we sat in ( family of 8) she was sooooo busy she tuts and sighs if you dare take a breath when ordering - the pasta was ALL cheese sauce ( and greasy high fat) there was barely a noodle swimming in it - what they ran out ? she is waaay too busy to bring you water ( there was exactly one other customer , a little old man who already had his food but youd think she was running a soup kitchen with lines the way she frets and rolls her eyes)... today we ordered four pizzas, she was SO rude, and ended telling me she didnt care what I thought when I dared point out the lack of service ( it was 4.45 in the afternoon and only one other order in the whole place with three staff - of course one is constant on cellphone but at least she smiles as she talks) , wow dya think they could explain customer service means caring what I think ? she explained her comment as I stood stunned - why should I care what a complete stranger thinks of me ? OK - just run ( dont walk) away - Id rather pay full price to someone who hasnt got a mental problem, besides she smokes outside all day, sees you tosses the fag end and comes in - maybe there is no rule that you have to wash your hands after smoking, but cigarette butt, horrible lips, wipe, butt, saliva, hand across mouth and cigarette butt etc - really gross. Then she asked if I needed plates, the other helper ( still on phone) gave me a decent amount, but the lunatic cut it in half - so for 4 large pizzas ( family of 8 with au pair and 7 relatives in for Thanksgiving hence 4 pizzas ) she gave me 6 flimsy see-through paper plates , maybe she has problems ( no kidding) but do yourself a favor and go to Mama Lucia ten mins away which has same deal ( 2.99 second entree or pizza on Mon and Tues) and so so much better food, value and service. Poor owner, someone should video the experience, as for us - never again ! as someone else said theres also Potomac Pizza across he road, nothing is worth this customer abuse !

Found a coupon that was valid until October 31st and was refused by the owner to honor it. They told me they were honoring buy 1 get 2nd half off but when i went online the actual total was the amount that they were charging me while saying it was diacounted! Call to speak to owner today and was refused to even be given a name. I grew up in potomac and Tally Ho was a favorite place to get pizza as long as i can remember but to be treated this way about a coupon that was clearly not expired yet is such a disappointment not to mention the slap in the face attitude the emplpyees are giving me just to ask for a name so i could write them a letter. I dont like to deal with shady people but shady restaurants get my full attention to thw better bureau when it is this difficult to speak to an owner.

We love diner fare and tried Tally Ho for breakfast because of a coupon linked from their website. We were so disappointed. The eggs were overcooked and dry, and my husbands side of "breakfast ham" was actually four thin slices of deli ham, stacked and grilled. Unfortunately, we forgot to use the coupon at the time they rang us up, and when I ran back in a few minutes later to ask for the discount, they wouldnt honor it. The server dismissed me and said to just use the coupon another time. Too bad there wont be one now.

Unbelievable! I just called tally ho as a service to THEM to let them know that when I got home with a large pepperoni pizza, that I counted 12 pieces of pepperoni. When pushed through to the manager (mean old lady with a unibrow) she wanted to argue with me that I was wrong and wanted to come count them!! (to her credit, after the call, i did search through some more cheese and found one more - 13 total! SO over this disgusting place. I should have kindly asked her to take the cheese bin off of the floor too....

Ive been going to the Tally Ho since it was in ab old drugstore on River Rd. It is a classic diner type restaurant, the kind we dont have much of in the DC area. Everyone is so nice who works there. The food is great, chicken rice soup like granny would make, sandwiches, burgers all good. Breakfast there is awesome. This is a down home, very nice, neighborhood restaurant and the family that owns/runs the place are lovely.

Great "pizza-diner" Family run, good people. Serves great breakfast. Try the greek lemon soup, meatball subs, and pizza, which is much cheaper and better than at Potomac Pizza across the street. Sometimes things are a bit haphazard but thats the charm of a good local joint. Not for snobby foodies or chain food lovers.

This place is gross. From the disgusting interior to the sad and grumpy staff to their terrible food, I will never go back. Go to Potomac Pizza instead where you dont have such deadbeats running the place making deadbeat food with bad attitudes.

I wish i could give this no rating. Worst steak and cheese ever!!! I had maybe 3 thinly sliced pieces of steak. The bun was over toasted. Cheap slices of cheese for ten bucks. Onions where a mix between raw and cooked. Garbage.

Got a BLT and fries $15 ok its Potomac right! Cool but tge fries were baked and soft and soggy. I asked for a dunny side up egg on my BLT and got a fried hard egg. $15 for crappy food. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

My favorite place to take the kids. It really is Potomacs BEST Pizza. As for the breakfast we cant live without it, my kids love the pancakes and I love the tomato and feta omelette! Cant wait to go back

I love the pizza, they will make it thin crust, the way I like it! Last week I tried the breakfast and really enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes and well done bacon!

Tally Ho has a weird interior to it. Service is too slow and the one of the chefs was standing on the counter to get toilet paper. But the food was pretty good.

There are a few times in life when a place really has your mouth watering on their foods offered when you view the menu. Tonight, this was not that place.

Not very impressive. The prices would make you think its a decent place, food I received was of very low quality. Stick to pizza if you mist come here...

Great service and the best pizza in Potomac (I always ask for it to be cooked well-done)! The gyros, subs and calzones are also excellent.
