Not what they used to be. They have changed for the worst. I used to come here all the time but now its not good. A few weeks ago I stopped by, parked my car...a woman (who is an employee at the location) parked directly beside me while I was still in the car so I had no way to get out of my cars drivers side. She opened up her front and back doors. I waited casually for five minutes to show courtesy. Two more minutes roll by and Im getting impatient. I knock on my window but nothing. I climbed out of my passenger side in frustration. I blow it off as ignorance and go inside. Get my order taken by some old guy. Food comes right back out. Asked for extra mayo. Got one packet..., like really?!!!!????!!! Last night I go in after a 20 plus hour shift for a quick meal. I go in sit down at a table, read my email. I got through ten emails and ten minutes had rolled by...was not even greeted. I picked my belongings up and walked out still craving a blt. Disappointed is an understatement. These people dont know customer service and lack basic common courtesy.

One of worst restaurant I have ever visited in US. Bring shame to the waffle house corp. Treated customers like dogs and food without hygiene. Need to wait nearly an hour to get one plain waffle, and the waffle will be in black color (totally burnt/fried). When asked about the quality of waffle, you will be kicked out of restaurant betting... do what ever you can do.. Manager who is cooking comes drunken, keeps finger in nose and cooks without washing hand, touch food directly without wearing glove and finally abusing customers. My Sincere advise, please dont dare to visit this restaurant and advise your family and friends not to visit this place. Please send me an email if you need more details, and I will be very happy to advise on this restaurant.

July 28, 2015: The last time I ate here, I noticed 5 or 6 flies two weeks ago. Today, I stopped in and there were four flies on the table next to me and there were three of four flies crawling up the back of the guy sitting at the bar. I asked my waitress, "whats going on in here with these flies ?" and she responded, "they were here when I got here this morning. We are losing our customers because of them." I told her "well, you have just lost another customer because I cannot eat with flies landing on my food." I got up and left the restaurant. So, eat there if you dont mind flies hopping back and forth between the trash can and your plate. Jim C.

I told my waitress at the table is dirty and she ignored me. So my friends got up and grab a rag 3 tables down that was also dirty. The waitress gotta attitude because she brought me dirty silverware so I asked for plastic instead. And then had an nerve to bring me a cup that had bugs in it.. She blamed that on the morning staff b4 her for the bugs in the ice.. mind you that it was only 7 people there the whole time. 3 couples and 1 other gentleman. They left 4 tables dirty the whole time. They made no effort to clean them. I use to eat there all the time and never had a problem like that. Purely disgusting..

There is a stereotype about Waffle House that says theyre all dirty, greasy, and delicious. That can be true but at this location its quite the opposite. Our food was delicious but at this WH it was clean and not at all covered in grease. Our waitress Shatone was AMAZING, truly the personality of an angel. She gave the kind of service you wouldnt typically expect at a tiny diner. She could be working at a 5 star restaurant and would still be a step above the rest. Couldnt possibly have asked for more.

I work in the restaurant industry and stupidly chose to go at a time when its the busiest. Everyone was sooo nice and quick. The best part was everyone was calm amongst the crazy...which really sets the mood for the whole place. Our food came out in great time. Whoever the manager was calling out the orders was awesome. He kept praising his team as they were working. The only thing I would suggest is to wipe down the condiments after each table. All in all it was great!

I had breakfast here this morning. And I have to admit that this didnt feel at all like part of a chain. The staff was polite and courteous, even the ones that werent waiting on me. This place had such a homey feel that I was in no hurry to leave and it still in on my mind. Enough that I had to come to google maps to find where it was, [was traveling and ducked off to get breakfast] I am glad that I ended at this place and hope I get to return.

This is by far the worst Waffle House in the Richmond area. So disorganized! Extremely loud staff. I waited 10 minutes to place a to go order with only one person in front of me. Server was all over the place, she would start taking our order, stop, deliver food, etc. they we not short handed at all. With all the places to eat breakfast around here, you would think customer service would be a little better! Very poor run organization!

The worst waffle house ever. Horrible service, horrible management. Was served water in an obviously extremely dirty glass, asked for another water, seemed to be the most unrealistic requests. Ordered my food, simple scrambled eggs with cheese and toast. I was served raisin bread, which I didnt order or want. Horrible service, horrible server, horrible management, horrible food.

Im only pushing 1 star because I had to. Wanted to stop and eat breakfast at this "24 hr" Waffle House but was told it would be an hour because they had to clean the grill. Mind you this is the only place serving breakfast at 4am and I have to drive to DC. An hour to clean a grill thats 12"x20". Really?!

Very entertaining staff kept me laughing while I enjoyed superb bisquits and gravy made fresh before my eyes by LChaun... Brooklyn and Alesha kept my tea glass topped off and my sense of humor smiling... like having dinner with family, only without the family history weighing you down...

This waffle house has the nicest waitresses and service. The food quality is great, and everything is cooked to perfection. I ate here and unlike some locations, they have the tables wiped down before you sit. Even when super busy. I give this place a 10 out of 10

I blame myself for coming back everytime its the same thing. Its dirty, freezing and the service sucks. They would rather cut up behind the counter in huddles of 10 and no one can even greet u upon entering. U wait long 2 place ur order always

Waffle house is one of those places that stays the same even as you change. Ive ordered the same thing for 20+ years and Ive always been pleased. This go round, our server was new but had a great sense of humor and did a great job.
