There are some mistakes people shouldnt make in life. One mistake a person could make is trying to climb a tree in the middle of a thunder storm. Another mistake a person could make is going to Cheesecake factory, pulling out some cheeseburgers from McDonalds and only asking the server for plenty of free water and napkins. My mistake was going to this particular T.G.I. Fridays on a Friday night. Without further delay, here is my review. The good: Um... the food that I ordered was hot The bad: Everything else- I arrived at this Fridays with a date around 9:45pm last night. As expected, the place was a mad house. As I walked through the front door, I couldnt help but notice that a member of Chesterfields finest was walking right behind me. Though I didnt have any outstanding warrants or smell like Marijuana, the presence of a police officer to serve as security inside a restaurant should have been a precursor for bad things to come. When in the lobby, I noticed that there was no hostess to greet customers, yet there were about 8 customers waiting to be seated. My date and I made our way to the bar area only to find that the bar was completely full to the point where people were aimlessly standing around in the area, blocking any paths to get to the bartender. So we made our way back to the lobby area which had cleared out by that time, more than likely because some customers just walked out. But my date wanted to stay so I took a big sigh, and waited for the invisible hostess to appear. 5 minutes later, the manager appears, greets us and finds the hostess to have us seated. We are seated and thats where the fun begins. Once seated, 10 minutes passed until we saw our server. Luckily the preseason NFL game was on during the wait period, but as soon as 10:00pm hit, a DJ started playing deafening Hip Hop music throughout the restaurant. It was at that time that I realized why the police officer was standing near the restaurants enterance. Fast forward to the servers initial appearance. By the time the server finally arrives, we give the server our drink orders and order food. The server magically disappears and reappears about 7 minutes later with the drinks. My food was brought out about 25 minutes after ordering and though it was hot, my patience had already worn thin with the bad service and club music being played through the restaurant. The server never once looked at my empty cup and asked if I needed a refill. So indeed this experience could only be described as 100% FRESHLY SQUEEZED BOOTY JUICE!!! Overall: Ive been to this particular Fridays during regular hours and had better experiences when the crowd sizes are normal. Granted the restaurant had a full house last night, I feel that the management could have been more organized and the service could have been better. But the next time I see a police officer just posting up near a door in a chain restaurant, I will know to carry myself right back out the door. ONE STAR.

If I could rate this place negative stars I would but this only lets me rate one star. So now we can start by saying that that we called in advance for a group of 16 at around 430pm got seated in about 10min but then it all went down hill from that point on. It only took the servers about 30-40mins to get all our drink orders in and about an other 20min to get the drink mostly soda or simple ice tea. I ordered an alcoholic drink cause I wanted alchol, but it would off been nice if it actually had alcohol instead I just got frozen juice. I had to order another shot just to feel it. If that wasnt bad enough my friends order was even more of a disaster. Hard rice, no alcohol either in her alcoholic drink, order side of shrimp and it never came. When we mention it at the end she got burnt shrimp. Her son ordered a burger with NO cheese and he gets a plate of burger with cheese dripping from the sides!her son didnt get to eat anything till almost half the table was done eating. I am sorry but that should never happen kids are first! The waitress also served double sodas to some of the kids without it being ordered at kids table. That should be double checked with their parents. I had another waitress come to the kids table asking if they ordered an alcoholic drink. I mean come on really if you see whats in your hand isnt it common sense not to put that down on their table. Obviously you have the wrong table!! We almost got served three times with food that wasnt for our table. No organization, no control, no common sense at all! It took an hour after sitting down for one of our guest to get served a strawberry lemonade. Its very sad this was the worst experience ever. We always like to recognize great service to the manager but as well as the horrible ones. I hope this was a lesson learned and thats why you did not receive any tip from both of our familys. You get what you deserve and if Im gonna pay for eating out I expect my service and food/drinks to be good. Word of advice when you serve your next big party like ours was, where there is great opportunity to make great tips, make sure you keep your guest happy, dont look for excuses just fix the problem.

I arrived at this Fridays with my girlfriend for a small dinner and drinks. I was greeted by the hosts (one male and female) and seated immediately. We waited 10 mins for our server and no sign of her. I told my girlfriend we should move to the bar. As we are standing and scanning the bar for available seating a server asked if we needed help. We informed her that we going to change to a bar seat. She was very nice and says "ok no problem". As my girlfriend and I walked to the bar a server was passing us. I overheard the nice server tell the server we passed "they decided to sit at the bar." At the bar I still waited to be greeted for another 5 mins. My girlfriend got the attention of one of the bartenders,, we ordered our drinks, and asked for the menu. My girlfriend ordered a mixed drink and I ordered a short Hardwood Cider beer. The time to deliver our drinks was a little long but there is more... We then ordered our food. I order a simple cheeseburger with everything and my girlfriend ordered a chicken based pasta. I had another beer and waited more than 20 mins for my good. By this time shift change happens and I have to ask another bartender to check on my food. He checked and his answer was "it will be out in a min they are waiting on pasta."??!! Even another customer at the bar looked confused as to why our food was taken so long. She was even telling the bartender to comp our meals, I am not interested in free meals. My girlfriend and I decided to just pay for our drinks and go to a fast food restaurant instead. The bartender offered to give us the good we ordered for free all we have to pay was for our drinks. I declined the comped meal offer and left after paying the bill.

I arrived at this Fridays location around 5:50 pm Sunday May 18,2014, First we were seated in a normal section. Our waiter never appeared so my boyfriend and I decided to get up and go to the bar after 10 minutes of waiting to be greeted. We got to the bar and waited another 5 minutes for someone to greet us. We waited at least five minutes before I had to say excuse me to get some service. We then ordered some drinks, My boyfriend ordered beer and the bartender took like 5 minutes to make his beer and we had sat right in front of the spout for the beer. After he received his beer, it then took another 10 minutes before we could let someone know we were ready to order. The Bar was not crowded so it shouldnt have taken that long to make a beer or order food! Another bartender had come and ask us if we were then ready to order. We ordered and waitied at least 35 minutes until we decided we wanted to just ask for the checks for our drinks. I feel that a 35 minute wait for our food was highly ridiculous! We then paid for the drinks, the bartender was willing to give us our food for free but we decided to leave without taking the food. I would highly suggest that all team members should get retrained in customer service and food delivery.
