I dined at this location about a month ago after an acquaintance suggested this place was fairly priced and the food was decently prepared. I made a reservation for a few of my friends and I, just to arrive and be told by some snooty hostess that I have to wait. She was a rude, loud, brunette teeney bopper that had to be at least 20 years younger than me, talking to me as if I were her equal. What is the point of making a reservation just to have my friends and I wait an additional 20-30 minutes? Ridiculous, but I waited hoping the food would be worth it. The food is just mediocre, nothing special and definitely not worth the wait. I give this place one star because the waitress we had was very sweet but didnt have a clue about the food she was selling. She could barely answer questions about the featured fish specials, having to ask others which prolonged our stay unnecessarily. I cannot blame her for this, poorly managed establishments tend to have poorly trained employees. I must say The Bang Bang Shrimp and Coconut Shrimp were tasty, but obviously frozen. They were suggested to our table. I had a simple problem with my entrée, which was easily resolved. I cannot even remember what it was called because thats how forgettable it was. My friends fish smelt extremely fishy like it was old, she ended up ordering something else instead. The smell lingered it was so strong but this is not the worst part. After a while, a manager approached our table and asked how everything was because of the issues with our food and service. This vile and VERY BOLD man WAS NOT EVEN LOOKING AT MY FACE! I was wearing a V-Shirt so my cleavage was showing which was my fault, but I wasnt expecting a pervert to be working at a fine establishment like this. I didnt even respond because I was so disgusted and frankly I didnt want him to communicate with me any further. I looked down briefly and when I looked back up, he was checking out the other ladies at my table like we were poultry! Absolutely disgusting behavior from this manager. He was VERY OBVIOUS about it as well. I called the VERY NEXT day to find out his name because I am so appalled, I am going to contact HR. I have never felt so degraded by a man I DONT even know. Do not dine at Mr. Johnsons Bonefish Grill. He should be ashamed of himself. I dont do reviews but I wrote this one for the women in my community! No woman should ever go through this! Heaven has to fall out the sky before I ever step a foot back into Bonefish Grill. I dont think I will eat at any of their other locations either, just not worth it. Go to Firebirds if you want great service and food that is actually worth the price. My friends Ahi Tuna Steak was frozen she said. She eats that almost everywhere she goes and she knows her Ahi Tuna. How are you a seafood restaurant serving frozen seafood? IF I WANTED FROZEN SEAFOOD I WOULD GO TO WEGMANS... Pathetic. This company is laughable. Do not waste your time. It has been a month and it still pisses me off like it just happened.

If you want an creepy old manager Learie Johnson staring you down like a piece of meat while you are eating then this place is for you. (Ladies) Also, if you are black, he will come harass you at your table and talk for 10-15 minutes instead of doing his job, like taking care of the customers that are having terrible experiences. Also, the some fish is actually frozen. I worked there and was dissappointed by this discovery. Martini Mondays and the employees are absolutely wonderful with the exception of Learie he is a total creep and should not work there, honestly he is rude to guests and he doesnt fit the "bonefish way". I probably will never return as a customer until he is gone. I use to go on my day off occasionally but I will not return until that predator disappears. I know a lot of people in our community and they will not return either because they say the food quality has gone down the drain. I am a new eater there so and i have no complaints about SOME of the food.

I had the house veggie and my choice of sides was also a veggie - both were barely cooked. Not a big deal as I had enough to eat. When the waitress came to clear the plates I mentioned that the veggies werent cooked (just to let them know). She offered to bring me more veggies cooked to my liking which I told her it wasnt necessary. After all, everyone at the table was finished eating at this point and I wasnt still hungry. I didnt ask for anything. After another 10 minutes while we were just sitting there waiting for our check the manger comes over and again offers to bring me more veggies. Really? After everyone is finished and ALL the plates have been cleared you want to bring me veggies? I wasnt looking for any freebies. However I did feel that this offer was inappropriate and told him so. Certainly not rushing back to this particular location. BTW one of the people I was dining with specified for her veggies to be cooked well and they were not.

Do not bother making a reservation through their system, they do not honor them. I made a reservation this past Thursday (1-7-16) for Saturday night (1-9-16). We arrived a few minutes early, stated we had a reservation and was told that is was going to be about a 30 minute wait That they had no tables. I had looked at the servers computer and there were only four reservations for that time period. This means they seated the general population before honoring the reserved. Instead of then placing us at the front of the line BECAUSE WE HAD A RESERVATION we had to wait in line. The food was average....we both had the double lobster tails which were slightly over cooked. The sides were steamed broccoli (over cooked) coleslaw (excellent) green beans (excellent). Nothing special here....just an i.e. standard restaurant, that doesnt honor its reservations.

I go to Bonefish Grill quite often of which I am always greeted with the such respect by all of the staff and even the manager will come up and say hello; very friendly and welcoming enviroment. Some of their food is the best where some of their food is on the edge of disappointment. Each time I have gone, if I happen to order something on the lower end of the price scale it comes ill-prepared, however if I choose something higher up on the price scale its prepared in a delightfully, presentable way and tastes fantastic. Thus saying, when you decide to visit this restaurant, do not order anything like a cheeseburger or a chicken based entree. Go for the seafood and steak. Finally, highly recommend the Bang-Bang Shrimp for your appetizer; so delicious!!!

The food took over an hour to arrive because they didnt have the risotto ready. After 40 minutes, the waiter asked if there is anything else we would like instead. After all of this hassle, I asked if I could get the espresso martini because we got a free desert under our meal. The wait laughs and says no. First of all, do not have the martini under the desert menu if you cant give someone a free desert because of it. Second of all, if you think it is professional when someone asks a legitimate questions you shouldnt be employed as a waiter. This was the first experience here and I will never returned.
