Amazing french fries alert! I dont know where they order their fries from but they were the best Ive had EVER. Service was an 11/10. Family-owned atmosphere, everything was made fresh, the chicken sandwich had a ridiculous amount of flavor (and did NOT appear to be boiled). Not sure what food the guy who reviewed below ate but theres no way the chicken on my sandwich was boiled. Had a charred outer layer that made me not want to brush my teeth so I could continue tasting it for hours afterward. Everything about this place feels as if it was cared for and handcrafted. In talking to the waitress, apparently the owners spent weeks and weeks creating their own decor by hand. They even made a really cool American flag using LEDS and a wooden pallet. I LOVED EVERYTHING about this place. If youre from Winchester and you go to this restaurant, youll quickly realize that this piece of real estate has finally found a worthy tenant.

First time visit January 30, ordered Flounder with fries and coleslaw. Flounder was good, not greasy at all. I am not usually a fan of corn meal breading, but this was very good. The coleslaw was extremely good. A nice creamy balance, recommend it highly if you are a fan of coleslaw. The fries were not typical shape, a sign of hand made, cudos, nicely done. Husband had Country fried steak with onion rings and green beans. Recommend also. All in all a very good night out, server, atmosphere very inviting and friendly. Very bright and clean, a good judge for me is also how clean the restrooms are, and as both my husband and I can attest too, were very clean.

I am legitimately surprised by the reviews. Three of us went out, got three different dishes, and the only redeeming quality was the French fries from one plate. Crab cakes were the consistency of wet newspaper. The spaghetti was overcooked with "garlic bread" that was white slices of bread, not toast, with butter. The side of vegetables were from a can, without any auxiliary seasoning. The burger was, almost without a doubt, a frozen patty from the Martins across the street. To all those who bravely venture forth.... American classic bar and grill: like nothing youve experienced since middle school cafeteria.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. We were there while the were doing a special menu for Cinco de Mayo. First off, the cheese sauce or "queso" was nothing more than cheap cheese in a can. Second, the enchilada was served with pizza sauce, not even enchilada sauce! And to top it all off, there was a curly black hair, that looked a lot like a pubic hair, in my taco! When i told the first waitress she said "oh ok well take it off your bill". The second one laughed! Wth kind of service is that?!

Nice home cooked meal type dinner tonight, Beef Tips over Noodles with 2 sides for $6.50. Noodles could be a bit firmer, overall a good dinner. Generous portions, included a dinner roll. I had the Summer, Lemoncellotini, delicious!! Just one waitress servicing the dining area and bar, so shes busy and doing her best. Their nightly dinner specials brought in the crowd at 6:30 pm. Overall a great value, good tasting dinner, loved my drink!! I just wish the service was faster.

I truly Love this place.It is my home ,away from home.My friends own it ,and they are the Best people ever.I love the atmosphere,great food,awesome coffee,good drinks,and some of the Best entertainment, when they have it scheduled from time to time.5 stars is not enough,,, i give my " Happy Place" 6 stars.So come check this happen n place out,then ,you will Love it too !!!!!!

I was looking for a place other than down town to hang out and watch sports. Not sure if this fits the bill, but Ill definitely be back for the occasional cold beer and hot meal. The menu is a lot like a diner menu, only with beer and liquor. Cheesesteak was on point, and yes the fries are as unique and delicious as advertised.

I have been here 3 times since the opening day. The food is amazing, people are friendly, and the decor is awesome. I highly recommend this home town atmosphere and great food. Best cheese steak around. Love that they have a special of the day as well. The prices are great for the food you get.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch. We had the special of the day, 3 sliders. Philly cheese, cheese burger, and pulled pork. Delicious!! The slaw and fries were fantastic and the beer in a chilled mug was great. Great atmosphere. The price was right, too. Well be back!

The food is pretty decent and reasonably priced but the service is extremely slow. If youre going in with kids I wouldnt recommend it because it usually takes longer than their patience allows. If youre not in a rush then its a decent meal.

The food is horrible. The chicken tasted like it was boiled, the baked potato was obviously microwaved, salad was small and plain with more white onion than tomatoes or other vegetables. I hated everything about this place.

Food excellent all around. The party had crab cakes which tasted as good as Maryland crab cakes. Pork chops were cooked to perfection and of course the cheeseburger was great. Highly recommend.
