I regularly order from Vocelli because the pizza is great but the experience I recieved today has completely turned me off. I got my order without the dessert and when he came back an hour later it was completely stale! I called and was rudely told they would send a fresh batch and then he just hung up on me. I didnt mind the wait because I understand you can be busy sometimes but they were so stale I felt like I got ripped off. I never got my replacement and they lost a loyal customer. UPDATE: I did finally receive my replacment cookies. But it was three hours after I received the bad batch which was an hour after I should have gotten my order as is. Very frusterated. I have never had a bad experience before. May be awhile before I try Vocelli again.

I have lived all over the United States and Vocellis Pizza is my favorite that I have found anywhere. When I moved to Charlottesville and found that a Vocellis was in town, I knew I had made the right decision to move here. The traditional crust is thin and slightly crispy, the toppings are fresh, and the cannolis are to die for! Also, the employees provide good service and are friendly. One time when I ordered a couple pizzas, drinks, and cannolis, they forgot to bring the cannolis. They apologized and came back with a double-order free-of-charge. I strongly recommend Vocellis Pizza (and cannolis) to pizza lovers everywhere!

Recently placed an order with Vocelli Pizza from an out of state location. Customer Service Person "Tina" walked me through the process and was very reassuring that they could make this order happen without any glitches... She was right! My friend was completely surprised by the "Special Delivery" and a gift from afar! Could not have made this happen without the great assistance from the whole staff - from advise to order to cooking to delivery... This evening Kluge Childrens Rehab Center received a special delivery gift of gourmet pizzas for staff as well as our patients and their families delivered by the owner of Vocelli Pizza himself!! I must tell you sir that we were able to give entire pizzas to help feed our families, many of whom are stapped financially due to the nature of their childrens extended illnesses. They were so delighted by this unexpected surprise!! Staff also enjoyed the nice assortment. The pizzas were warm and tasted wonderful! Please know that your kindness to us was appreciated! I just moved here Googled a pizza place in my area. I found Vocelli Pizza and called to see if they delivered in my area. They didnt but made the trip out anyway! It was New Years Day! The owner himself showed up in under an hour and even gave us a coupon at the door. Wow! What Service! The Pizza was super Hot and tasted great. I never fill out these reviews but thought I needed to make the effort for this great company! Thank you Vocelli !!!

I ordered the Meatball Stromboli. and real pizza dough crust aside it had the fillings of a Hot Pocket. For a place claiming to use gourmet ingredients I was shocked to see my Stromboli filed with little frozen meatballs that tasted like they were not even cooked before being thrown into the Stromboli/Oven. I certainly will not be paying there prices (or delivery charge) again for the quality of the food received.

The food is ok, but the manager of the place is a very rude and disrespectful person towards customers,he has no customer service at all. Especially When you call to order something he is in hurry to shorten your conversation or he ignores your question it didnt happen just to me it happen to so many other friends of mine too. Thats why We totally stopped going and ordering from there.

All the food had to be completely reheated upon delivery. Immediately left a post on their Facebook page asking if they still use the insulated bags for delivery since the food was cold. No reply, and the post was removed from their page. Evidently, Vocellis does not like criticism. Thatll be the last time I order from them!

One of the best pizza shops around. The pepperoni alone is to die for! Food is always great and cooked to perfection. The staff is super nice and always have a wonderful attitude. Ive tried so many items or the menu and everything is terrific! Wish they had a sit in area...maybe in the future...

The food is great! The delivery service superb!! The actual store....mmm....not so much! Looks dirty and rundown :[ dead bugs in the corner...dirty floor...again...never had issue with food...neger gotten sick or anything...i just would like the store to also reflect how good Vocelli is! :]

This pizza is amazing! We came in to visit UVA and just picked a random place to eat. We were blessed to find this place - we got a large extra cheese. I dont know how to describe but the pizza is great. The cheese, the sauce, just amazing.
