Food is great and price is fair. It is best to only eat-in because if you order a to-go you will be fooled by their service. I called in to order 30 pieces wings for my family and told me it would take about 20 minutes. I got there right on time and told me to hand them my credit card. After the transaction, I watched the TV that was in front of me and it was Olympics womens soccer game (Canada V.S. German.) I started watching at 30mins of the game and one of the server came up to me and said, "your food will be out in short." I thanked him for letting me know but I never knew that it was just a beginning of my tragedy. When the soccer game was at 46 minutes, the other server came up to me and asked if I ordered, I told him I am still waiting for my order and he said he will check for me. He came back and said that "I think there was a mistake, could you wait for few minutes?" Not that I want some complimentary stuff but normally, if the merchant accepts that it was his/her fault then he/she tries something to the customer so that he does not go rage. But instead, I was completely ignored and waited more than 25 minutes even though I ordered ahead. If you can wait in store for 20+ minutes then I think to-go option will be suitable for you. The point of having a phone in the store is to get the order from the customers so that customers do not have to order again in store. People who are shy can use this system as an advantage but again... you will have to wait 20+ minutes to order. I thank BBQ because I found out womens soccer games are interesting. I feel like every time I go BBQ, they will waste my time but it wont be a waste since I will be learning something new every time I visit there! Hope everyone learns something because it isnt just a restaurant.. This place teaches you to be patient and also to become a cool son since I had my mom to wait in the car for more than 25 minutes.. though I told her that I will pick up the food and hurry back. Best day ever

There is an Asian (Korean?) essence to the decor. It almost looks fancy. Try the Olive chicken, as its the item they are known for. I recommend both the original and Sweet Spice versions. Both are fantastic, but if are looking to compare it against KFC or Popeyes, stick with the original. I also recommend the BBQ wings, and the mac n cheese. Oh yeah, dont forget they have a bar! Dining at the restaurant, eating fried chicken, and sipping a Guinness = a truly unique experience. The staff has been very friendly and have taken good care of us. Even better, if you dont see your waiter in time, just press the button on the table and they will promptly see to your needs. The quality of the food is excellent and made fresh, so be prepared to wait about 20-30 minutes for your freshly fried chicken to be ready. Its 100% worth it. If you are busy, call ahead! They also deliver to local addresses. I only wish I were still living in the area!

The original olive chicken was awesome. Super crispy, and tasty. The breasts were oddly small though, (too small.) There were four breasts in the 10 piece meal, but two of them almost made what 1 breast should have been. The 10 piece family meal was $25 (10 pieces, 4 biscuits, 2 sides.) Biscuits would have been great if they were fresh, but they were probably from lunch. The cole slaw was great. There were too few pepper munchers (4), but they were good. They totally needed a sauce though. We got take-out so we used ranch at home. The two sides were too small for a family meal; we had six pieces left with no sides. It will probably be a while before we return.

This was one of my favorite fried chicken (치킨) places when living in Seoul. The menu is slightly different here in the States, but they still have the traditional Korean-style fried chicken and it is phenomenal. It is always fresh, hot, and juicy. Something about the batter and the fried flavor are so much better. They have decent happy hour specials, but I feel like they are not compatible with a lot of commuters schedules. They have a fair selection of beer, and serve it in frosted mugs and pitchers. My only complaint, and it is something I can live with, is that the food does take some time to come out.

"Chicken Hofs" are in every neighborhood in Korea. A simple place to get a cold beer and some fried chicken. There are several chains that have popped up here in the States. Most have some spicy sweet sticky sauce. Never been a fan of that. Some chains dont cook the chicken fresh. The overall cost of doing "Chi-Mek" is getting a little out of hand. Maybe cause of the odd name, I never got around to visiting a "BBQ Chicken." We went for happy hour and the beers were cold, the chicken juicy and hot, and price was right. Not sure about anything else on the menu but the chicken is good.

I ordered the hottest that they had (Wild Fire). I expected average, sportsbar wings. What I got was light, crunchy, slightly sweet pieces that were much larger than usual. Think General Tsos flavor + serious buffalo omg-my-lips-are-burning heat. Great stuff! Buffalo Wild Wings should stand up and pay attention. I had to wait over 20 minutes, but I sat and had a beer so I didnt much care. The cole slaw that they gave me as a consolation for waiting was grocery store quality. But overall I was happy and I will absolutely go there again.

They do have very "picturesque" chicken, I would say. But prepare to be eating more filler and skin than actual chicken. Takes a long time to come out, and frankly, the whole menu is pretty monotone. Fried chicken, fried chicken, fried chicken with some sauce on the side. Also, and this is completely a personal pet peeve, they want 75 cents for a cup of barbecue sauce to put on your chicken (which is absolutely just plain fried chicken unless explicitly otherwise stated). THE NAME OF THE PLACE HAS BBQ IN IT! BARBECUE SAUCE SHOULD NOT BE EXTRA

There is mega-competition in Centreville now for special Korean fried chicken. This place actually does the best spicy chicken and has some great menu options. There is a long wait for food (as always with Korean fried chicken), waaaay too many sports TV screens ruining any chance to enjoy conversation at your table (sometimes a good thing?). And if you opt for take-out , your call is usually handled by a person whos been working there approx 11 minutes and has no idea how to take your order. So it can be a challenge ... but great chicken!

Hands down the best chicken wings Ive had in Northern Virginia (yes, better than Bon Chon, and faster too). Small, 6 draft selection of beer that doesnt get much more adventurous than Guinness and Sam Adams Rebel IPA. A bit ethnically Korean, so be prepared to press a call button to get your servers attention rather than American style come-to-the-table-and-ask-how-is-everything-while-you-have-a-mouthful-of-food. Their Korean inspired chicken dishes are wonderful as well, but might be too spicy for some.
