Over the past few weeks, Ive gone to several Indian restaurants in the Ashburn area including Saffron Indian Cuisine, Kebabs & Curries, Delhi 6, Haveli and now Pind Indian Cuisine (One Loudoun). Id like to conclude after having gone to all five of these establishments that Pind indeed had the best, most-friendly service of the five. There is good/decent food and then there is great food. When it comes to great food, Pind excels :) When I entered Pind at 8:30 along with my friends, we were greeted by a welcoming, non-judgemental server. We were then brought some fresh baked naan along with some raita (yogurt sauce) and chutneys (mint sauce and sweet tamarind sauce). The server recommended some great appetizers which we really loved. The Tandoori Sampler was made to perfection along with Chicken65 and Bhel Poori Chaat. Our server also brought us the non-alcoholic Bombazy Fizz and Indian Summer !! (You have to try these). The entrees were cooked to perfection with the right level of spice requested. The chef Mani (sorry if I misspelled your name) does a great job. All you have to do is just ask your server :) I will definitely be going back to eat there. This place offers decent price, great food and an amazing staff.

I hate writing bad reviews about places but this place deserves it. I gave it 1 star for the price only. Here it goes, I went to an Indian restaurant name PIND in Ashburn for lunch today after hearing about it from others and the place is beyond horrible. The worst service ever, we had to ask for things at least 3 times before they brought it to the table and acted like they were doing us a favor. 1) The waiters served us our food and water over our head and hit my friend in the head and not even apologize. 2) The music was so loud to the point I couldnt even hear the person right across from me. 3) We asked the waiter about the ingredients in certain dishes twice and both times he said I will check with the chef and never got back to us with an answer and gave us a horrible attitude. I felt as if we were not wanted there and they were not happy to see us. 4) The food was not what I expected, this placed is over hyped. The only good thing about this place was the price. Do yourself a favor, save your time and money and dont go there. I will not be going back to this place even if they offer free food.

Extremely rude wait staff. We didnt even get to taste the food. Had to walk out . The appetizers were served but we had no plates to use. No water served either. When asked for the plates one of the wait staff nodded his head with a serious expression and then went on his business. After 10 mins, we managed to get the attention of a different waiter who was not too happy but brought us some plates. But the way he gave the plates was to either drop it on the table angrily or hand it to our face. When asked if hes got a problem, his response was "we have to take other orders". And that was the last straw. For the prices and the claim to be a high end place, it surely doesnt add up. 22$ lamb chops and service that isnt even worth 1$. With such a service I am curious as to see how long they will remain in business. We dont know how tasty the food shall be but we werent that desperate to be mistreated by a waiter while paying premium prices. So we went to Nandos who btw have fantastic food and staff.

I tried this place for the weekend lunch buffet (which seems like it might be a new feature) and it was fantastic. I dont have much experience with Indian food outside of buffets (because I like to be able to eat a variety at once), but this seemed on par or better than most that I have been to. I only had two concerns: One, the dishes did not have labels, so I didnt know what I was eating. I was willing to try it all, but then I had no idea of the things that I really liked. Two, some of the dishes were less than warm. Since I think this is a new set up they may just be doing a trial run for the buffet, but they did refresh with hot food fairly often. I thought it was a little more expensive than most lunch buffets in the area, $15, but I also feel like it was worth it. The photo is of my second plate... the first plate had way more variety, and I was full by the second plate but I wanted a top off of my favorites!

We ordered the Chicken Chettinad, Butter Chicken, and Paneer Hariyali Korma. The butter chicken tasted as if they had dropped poached chicken in tomato soup. The chicken itself which is supposed to be Tandoori Chicken, did not have any flavor at all, and was completely bland. The Chicken Chettinad was the same. Chicken pieces seemed poached, and then thrown into the sauce. Paneer Hariyali was so so. We ordered three different bread... Peshawri Naan, Garlic Naan, and a Kulcha. All the breads were nice. The taste suits the American pallette, but there is no authenticity at all. Also, for the price you are paying, the quantity is just Ok. Restaurant interiors are nothing to rave about. Forgot to mention that the wait staff was very friendly.

A very modern Indian restaurant located in the most happening place in Loudoun County. One Loudoun. Service is exceptional for an Indian restaurant. Almost the standards you see at places like Rasika in DC. A great bar and equally delicious cocktails. Loved their food. Especially, the veggies provided with their Tandoori dishes are crisp. Tried several dishes and none disappointed me yet. For lunch you order the dish you want they provided unlimited rice, bread, a veggie side and a small dessert.

Very bad, actually worst :( They started weekend buffet lunch recently, menu is very short still very expensive. On my last visit, food was horrible, not much left in buffet. Still they didnt fill the bowls. We ordered biryani along with buffet, that was also pathetic. On the top of it, he charged me 20% mandatory tip. Very very bad experience. Do dot recommend this place to anyone for their weekend lunch. Pls dont spoil your weekend by going here for lunch.

Good food but wasnt worth the $20 price tag. The interior is cramped, and service is awful. Our waiters constantly sneered at requests we made, they didnt give us enough seats at first and got everyones checks wrong. I was charged for something i didnt order and was never given. This was the first place i ever wanted to leave no tip but they put their own tip amount on my bill and didnt give me the ability to choose my own tip amount.

Chicken in all dishes is pre-cooked and dry and mixed with the different sauces at time of order. The service is quite terrible as the waiters cant communicate effectively. Came with a party of 12 and asked for an extra bread for our table as the 2 complimentary plates they brought out were clearly not enough for our party. When the bill came they charged for the extra bread and drinks we did not order. Check your bill!

What an exceptional experience! My wife treated me to lunch there on Friday May 22, 2015 and we left there feeling as though we had just walked out of Bombay. The food was authentic. The curry chicken and shrimp combination was out of this world, and most importantly-the wait staff were the most friendly group of people that Ive encountered in a restaurant in quite some time. Do yourself a favor-- go check it out soon.
