Reasonably sure the cook handled my wontons without gloves, and even put his hands in his mouth during the process. But I wasnt quite sure enough to raise a fuss as tired as I was. Maybe I just didnt want to believe it. His back was turned, so who knows? Having worked in a few kitchens, I know thats "next to nothing". Ironically, you will get more human DNA from varying sources at a proper restaurant. Youre welcome for that nightmare. Food itself was ok, prices reasonable. I never would go here normally, but they stay open until 11, and theyve been there forever, so I figured they couldnt be all bad. If I ever do bump my head and return, Ill likely get one of the safest bets for food safety- the teriyaki sticks. Pretty much go straight from a bag to scorching grease, and no one is going to touch it bare-handed.

Put in my order & requested mustard for second time last time ordered it wasnt on bag so I called & requested it a female said she put it in the bag. I got the food no mustard & called & inquired about the mustard she said " your calling to complain about mustard ". Hey Im old school if you say your gonna do something do it. Anyway they used to be good about respect but she said she was the manager & laughed it off. If you cant serve respect with your food I dont want it. Then she said she did not have any mustard. If you cant tell the truth I dont to do any business with a liar. So she can make fun all she wants but with.a bit less money cuz my money wont be going there amy more.

If I could rate it a zero I would the past few times I have ordered I have been extremely disappointed the chicken has been fried way to long or way to hard you cant even taste the sauce and the chicken was extremely crunchy It was like chewing rocks then the fried rice had dollar coin sized onions in it... I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone not to mention grubhub sent the most ghetto unprofessional person in the world to deliver my food with his music blaring .... Just avoid this place at all cost ...

This place is absolutely horrible, I was afraid to feed my kids what was delivered. The meat didnt even look like something I would consume ...EVER in my life...there was hardly any flavor. My friend ordered fried wonton and spit it out...took one bite of his egg roll and spit that out too. The only thing I tried was the rice and broccoli... And even that was horrible. Ill never order from there again and Id honestly suggest someone call the health deparment before someone gets seriously ill

Happy Family is the best Chinese Restaurant in Richmond and they serve desserts too. Ive tried many other places and the food here is by far the best Ive ever had. Friends from the Northern states tell me its a lot like the chinese places in New York. I cant personally attest to that but I can attest to the food being fresh and delicious every single time. The hot and sour soup is the best. The only thing Im sad about is that I moved too far away for them to deliver.

I have been eating food from this restaurant for two years and have always had good results.My food is always hot. I have a problem with sodium, but they hold the msg without a problem. I love their steak and cheese sub as well as their reg stuff- like egg foo young. Last night was Christmas Eve and I got 3 egg foo young patties in my combination platter,instead of 2. Thanks! It takes awhile because they are busy! Its worth the wait. Watch tv or something.

I have been to a few Chinese places and this one has the best darn chicken wings. I saw a fellow eating them at a table and putting hot sause on them. Looked so good. I ordered some and put the hot sause on them....AWSOME. I had never wanted hot sause on my chicken until after that day. Love all therre food. A really good place to go.

I used to love eating at this place but the last two times I have ordered from them the food has been very greasy. I dont remember it being like this before and seeing all the grease is an appetite turn off... it also smelled like old grease.... No thanks I will pass from now on!

They have roaches. The womens bathroom has been out of order for awhile and the mens bathroom is filthy and smells like a Porto potty. So bad, I lost my appetite and left.

Fast delivery! This takeout doesnt leave you feeling bloated like most others and the food tastes much more fresh for Chinese takeout. Definitely my new takeout spot!
