3.5 stars. We opted to try BurgerFi after the St. Patricks Day parade in Old Town Alexandria this past weekend. Of course with the volume of people on the streets, it was pretty crowded inside. After about 10 or so minutes of standing in line, I ordered a single cheeseburger with some extra grilled onions. My BF ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and we decided to share fries and onion rings. The cashier handed us a beeper, and we proceeded to grab an empty table. We waited for 10-15 minutes before we heard our name being called. Apparently, the beeper had not been programmed to the right order number, so it hadnt gone off when our food was ready and thats why they had to call us instead. At first, I was not impressed with my cheeseburger mostly because the cheese was in that awkward, semi-melty stage that I personally do not like. However, the other components of the burger were all great. I also think that because our food had been sitting at the counter for a bit, the cheese ended up in the previously mentioned state so Ill have to try BurgerFi to see if this was simply a one-time issue. Otherwise, the burgers were good as were the fries and onion rings. I want to try the CEO burger, which I see is a particular highlight in all the subsequent reviews. Its great to see some competition for the burger space in Old Town. Since they recently opened, Im sure theyre working out a few service kinks but I will most likely be back for more burgers.

Tried the latest burger place to open in Old Town, one of many within walking distance of each other, and this one might be my least favorite. The burger I ordered was good enough and the fries were ok, but I waited over 20-25 minutes for what shouldve maybe taken 5 had the service been more attentive - and for the price paid, you can get better elsewhere. I will say that the dining area is attractive and theyve got a great selection of brews on tap which is a nice touch. If they fixed up the service issues, redesigned the menu and took a look at pricing, Id give it another chance.

Hands down one of the best burger spots around. I stumbled on to this place walking around Old Town, not really off main street or on a block with retail. But...... OMG, the onion rings & french fries with urban topping were awesome!!! I had the CEO burger and it was soooo good. I cant wait to taste all others. Red Velet milkshake was pretty good too. For sure, return visit in the future. Only suggestion would be to have some sort of specialty sauces to go with the food, but thats because I like fancy mustard, vinegar, etc. with my sides :-)

We went for dinner and were the only people in the restaurant along with another couple. The music was horribly loud and we had to really raise our voices to hear each other. We both got the CEO burger with onion rings and a soda. The burger was quite good, but on the small side, and in no way was it worth over $40 for 2 people. I could have eaten at the french cafe around the corner for 2/3rds of that and been genuinely pleased. I would not return to burger-fi.

Incredible. Fresh. They dont even HAVE a freezer in the building (except for the little one for the frozen custard.) Quite possibly the best burger I have ever had. I got the CEO (I believe it was called) and good lord...yes. And the onion rings? Get outta here. Cannot WAIT to get back there. Excellent service, too! Just an all around WIN. This has been added to our "MUST VISIT" list, especially when we take our out-of-town visitors to King Street

The wait was 20+ minutes despite it not being busy. That is no longer fast casual dinning. I could have gone to another, nicer restaurant and gotten my food just as quickly. Everything was just okay, nothing hit it out of the park so to speak. We got a chili dog, and the dog itself was very poor quality. The onion rings are huge which was good. Fries are okay, kids grilled cheese was too bready. Kids meals do come with plenty of food.

Came here with a friend yesterday. Its just like the west coast In-N-Out! Love it!!! Also met the owner and his son, who are very polite and pleasant people. The locations new, so obviously theres growing pains, but overall, my experience was very positive. My only gripe is that the food itself is a bit greasy, like, more than a McDonalds burger.

Not cheap... but you do get what you pay for. The CEO burger was juicy and satisfying, and had just the right amount of truffle so it accentuated the swiss and the other toppings (instead of drowning them out like some other places). Dollar for dollar, Five Guys is still my favorite, but Ill come back again when Im nearby.

Felt a bit like Michael Douglass character did in "Falling Down". Big, nice-looking pictures above the counter, then my actual burger looked like a squashed mass. And tasted how it looked too, which isnt saying much at all. The fries were really good though, hence the 2-star review. Besides that...no fries? No stars.

Excellent veggie burger. They have 2 options with and without bun. This is great for people who are counting calories or carbs. The one with bun is 560cals apprx. The burger itself is good but its ends up being very idea. It would be great if they add some kind of sauce to it. Which would make it 10/10.

We just visited for the first time during their grand opening. The burgers, fries & shakes were great and the staff at the register were very friendly. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Boyfriend thought The CEO burger was amazing. The "oh my chocolate" concrete was right up my alley.

Delicious grass-fed burgers! I had a regular french fry (probably big enough for 2 to share) which was also good. They have plenty of outdoor seating in the front and back of the restaurant. A great stop for lunch if you are looking for a more casual place along King Street.

We stopped in on a Sunday evening and couldnt have been more impressed. We had veggie burgers, fries and onion rings, excellent quality for the price. The staff were delightful especially Joe who was just getting off and was very chatty. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic burgers!!! And to top it all off, everyone was so nice there. One of the nice guys truly made my daughters day by giving her a green BurgerFi balloon that she carried around all day long! Thank you...we will definitely be back for more!

Fantastic creative burgers! 15ish beers on tap, 3 wines on tap. Old Town / Del Ray didnt need another burger place (many existing delicious fancy burger places already), until this place came along. Good size space, lively without being loud.

Very ample servings of food for the price! The fries are separate but it is worth it to purchase them as a side because they could be a meal of its own. Custom soda fountain and beers on tap make this place a very trendy modern burger joint.

Great premium burgers at a reasonable price. Family friendly, with plenty of T.V.s. Family sized sides help keep prices lower. Clean with courteous staff. The best burger place in the area, and their fries and onion rings are superb!
