I give 4 stars only due to being a relatively new place in this area. The burgers were great. I had 3 Chipotle, BBQ Crunch and the Rodeo burger. All were doubles delicious moist burgers perfectly grilled. Chipotle came with the sauce, pepper jack cheese and jalapeños, but no worries folks it was nowhere near over powering as Im not as huge spicy person. I prefer it to tingle the tongue and thats what this did. The BBQ crunch came with their delicious BBQ chips inside and was a splendid combo. Their BBQ chips btw r huge crunchy yet chewy which I enjoyed. If u ever been to another popular chain and got a Rodeo burger the Wayback Rodeo is similar but better all around. Thicker patty giant delicious onion ring, altho the onion likes to slide out of its breaded casing lol. The Wayback burger offers chips which I loved, cheese fries I believe not to be to bad and they DO NOT use nacho cheese and the chilli cheese fries. These chilli cheese fries altho ok served as fries the chilli burger meat then with the cheese on the top seed a little bland. I also had 2 milkshakes they serve u the metal cup its made in which in my opinion should also be placed in a Styrofoam coffee cup or something of the sort as can be a little messy and not to a mention the water from the frost on the outside. I ordered 1 coffee flavor milkshake and to be honest it tasted mostly of a french vanilla or just a plain milkshake. Which that in itself was enjoyable as its a little thinner than other locations and makes it easier to drink. My 2nd milkshake was chocolate banana, this seemed to have a lil more flavor but mostly banana. I was hoping for the flavor along the lines of chocolate covered banana but was slightly disappointed. The atmosphere is great and the employees are as well smiles and very friendly. U walk up and order and menu item or make ur own and have a seat when its done, altho it does seem to take a little long, an employee calls the name u give and that take it to you. This I must say is a great thing, I am all for serving myself but this brings some differences which is sorely needed. As for the Wayback Burger challenge, I asked only 1 employee and they didnt seem sure of it except the fact its the Triple Triple Burger and hasta be eaten the fastest and if the fastest you receive a grand prize. I looked this up online, I believe its a challenge nationwide and grand prize can be $3,330.00 or a possibility of something of equal value, was held Sept 2015 and was the 5th year. If you dont know the Triple Triple Burger is 9 delicious patties, yes 9! You must be timed by an employee and I for 1 hope to be able to enter the next. Good job Wayback Burger!

As a life-long burger fan(read: not burger king or mcds burgers) I have been risking life and limb to eat Five Guys burgers(Im allergic to peanuts and they for some reason feel the need to have them all over their restaurants, alienating the largest food allergy group in the world, but I digress). That all changed yesterday when I went to Wayback Burger for the first time. The buns were buttered and toasted potato roll buns; soft yet delicious. The toppings I got, lettuce, onion, tomato, cheese and bacon were fresh, juicy(not greasy, juicy) and not sloppily thrown on the burger like other places(cough five guys cough cough). The burger patties were flavorful, delicious and made exactly how I would cook them on my own grille. The fries were real potato fries that tasted great and were cooked perfectly. The milkshake was real, delicious and worth the extra coin to get with my meal. Overall, it was a great burger, fries and shake and I highly recommend them over the other burger competition in the area. Will absolutely eat there again!

Went to Jakes Wayback Burgers today after getting Liams haircut. We were impressed with the food - excellent, moist (not greasy) burgers with perfectly fresh potato buns and cravable fries. As if we needed it (we had so much food!), they gave us junior size shakes of the month to try - mint oreo - amazing! Hubs and I each had a double-burger, shared a super huge portion of fries and drinks, and Liam had a hot dog and fries kids meal - all for under $22. Highly recommend supporting a locally-owned franchise if youre near (its in the big plaza right off the 581 exit of Carlisle Pike, right next to Outback). I found the staff extremely courteous, conscientious, passionate and proud, and am looking forward to the next time we can stop in!

Came in on a Saturday at lunch time. Place was pretty much dead but still took 15 minutes to receive food. Advertise that burgers are grilled to order, however they arent. They cook them well and my burger patties were half burnt. Girl at the register was almost non-responsive and seemed to lack any enthusiasm or friendliness at all. Talked to a manager who was friendly but cited corporate policy for burgers having to be cooked well done. She advised that complaining via the website was a good idea because franchises have no control and also said numerous people have and continue to complain. Overall a miss and a big disappointment! I dont see this place lasting.

Ok so Hubby and I just ate at this place and im trying to figure out why some of these reviews are the way they are. Our opinion of this place was as follows The burgers were excellent the fries were like fresh cut which is preferred by us, lemonade was just right. Now on to the service the young man that waited on us was quiet patient with us since it was our first time there and he was helpful when asked a question. We order and sat in to eat. We thought they were gonna call our name to come get our food but that wasnt the case the young lady brought it to us and it was hot and delicious.. Thanks to all of you.. And we will return. No more five guys for us..

Came in around 8:25 pm and were asked to place our order to-go since they were closing soon., (Google said they closed at 9pm) we watched from our car, eating our food, as they turned one customer away. They locked the doors at 8:45, and the place was dark by 8:48. Might be the last time we eat there. Update : owners contacted me after reading my duplicate review on Facebook. Offered me a free meal, and explained that there had been a family emergency. Given that there had been similar stories to mine by other customers, I felt it was a half-hearted and disengenuous apology. Will not be returning. Even with the offer of a free meal.

Terribly slow service. I went in an ordered a 2 single burger and there were 3 orders after me. Everybody got their food before I did and they said it was because they didnt have all their ingredients prep. I didnt order anything special, so I dont understand how that makes sense since everybody else got their food fine. When I finally got my burger, it was mediocre. Bacon was undercooked and they forgot my husbands jalapenos. My suggestion, go to Five Guys.

The food is good enough, but the service is glacially slow. I think theyre woefully understaffed, and what employees are there all seem to be working their first food service job. Every time Ive ended up there, its taken 15-20 minutes to get an order to go. The last visit I watched my burger cooked burger sit for ten minutes, not under heat, until someone wrapped and bagged it... and it still ended up missing toppings.
