I have never had a more unpleasant dining experience in my life. I visited the Fuddruckers in Chinatown on the evening of January 31, 2017 with a companion. We ordered our food when we came in, and selected a table near the wall. When I went to get my drink, I was accosted in the restaurant by a non-customer begging me for money. While I was refilling my drink after we got our food, another non-customer accosted my companion asking if they were going to eat all of the food there (i.e. begging for food), and making a comment about her weight at the same time. While my companion and I were eating, a third non-customer was standing just behind me, staring at us. I had to chase him away from my table, and he made a scene as he left. Clearly, our dining experience was ruined, and it was also clear that this establishment had a problem with bums who felt more than comfortable entering the restaurant and harassing the patrons for both money and food. I do not consider it unreasonable to be able to eat at a restaurant without being harassed by non-customers looking for handouts. Ive always considered the true mark of an establishments quality to be how the management handles problems when they come up. The management in this case failed pretty badly. When I went to the counter to ask to speak to a manager, the manager on duty said that all of the different restaurants in the neighborhood have a problem with bums begging for money inside the establishment, and that they cant control who comes in and what they do. After we spoke and I left to return to my table, the manager came over not long after. The manager had a clipboard with him showing me all of the banning orders that are in effect for various people that have come to the restaurant and have been banned. When my companion said something to the manager about the situation, he raised his voice and tried to speak over her to make his point, which was that they couldnt control who came into the restaurant, and that all they could do was ban people, even though it was clearly negatively affecting the experiences of paying customers. I find it interesting that they claim that they are powerless to stop bums from coming in and harassing patrons in the restaurant, and that all of the restaurants in the area have the same problem. Ive patronized many other nearby establishments, including RFD (on the next block), Panera Bread (across the street), Chopt (two doors down), and Chipotle (a block away), and I have never had a problem with bums begging me for food at any of those other nearby establishments. Just the Fuddruckers location. It was made quite clear to me that through the restaurants unwillingness to fully address their problem with bums harassing patrons for money and food inside the establishment, that they have chosen the bums over their paying customers. I am not inclined to return to this establishment due to this experience, and I dont recommend that others do as well.

I came in with low expectation but it wasnt as bad as other had described. It wasnt amazing but everything but the burger (I know its a burger joint) was actually decent. The beef patty definitely need some work. I ordered 1/3 lb original burger medium rare - the patty center was served iced cold. The potato wedges and sweet potato fries however were well made -piping hot, crunchy, and not one bit greasy! Additionally, I enjoyed the condiment/topping stations - literally made my own salad with the lettuce, sliced tomato, onion, and salsa. Also melted Jalapeno and cheddar cheese as condiment? major yum! Lastly, unlimited soda choices - peach sprite zero? strawberry Fanta? Wished I had a bigger bladder and sample all the flavors! Tables were consistently turned over. The topping/condiment stations were kept clean (I made a minor salsa spill - before I can take a step over to the next topping choice, there was a staff hovering and cleaning after me). Its hard to say I would return any time soon especially since Shake Shack and Five Guys are just down the street. Nevertheless, would definitely give their exotic burger a try if I do along with the oh so yummy sweet potato fries!

Had the worst experience on Monday night as the Washington DC Chinatown location. I had some family visiting from out of town and the ambiance from the menu served to pull one of my family members in. The Gentleman who took our order was very professional, strangely enough the team behind him and a young lady in particular just seethed at us, as if our presence was a detriment. The order for my cousin ended up being wrong - and it was prepped for dine in, instead of takeout, when she pointed this out. The tray was snatched from her hand and slammed, forcefully in a bag by a young lady in a pink headwrap. When my cousin replied "Thank you" in bewilderment, the young woman replied in a raised tone: "Yeah, thank you!" My takeaway from this experience? Patronizing Fuddruckers again is not an option. This woman should Not deal with public in ANY capacity, whatsoever. The insolence and unprofessionalism shown in this instance speaks volumes and my money is best spent elsewhere.

My burger was cold and chewy, low quality, just big and gross. My shoe tastes better then your burger. Not a value at 13 dollars with potatoes and drink. Here are some options from 7th and H ST. Walk H toward 8th ST on the left, and get fresh never frozen beef at FIVE GUYS. Or walk a block on 7th toward G to Ruby Tuesdays or McDonalds. Burger King is a couple blocks away on 5th and G ST. I have to say for 9 dollars you get fresh made gourmet pasta or pizza while you watch at Vapiano, and eat on their couches. Sweet! Walk H ST toward 6th, its on your left Vapiano. You will be back. Your other options are Quiznos toasty subs, blimpie subs, and Subway. They are in the vacinity on H ST between 7th and 8th, and Quiznos is a block over on i street between 7th and 8th. Theres other options as well, like a pub or some chinese food.

If youre looking for a good quality burger and fries, avoid fuddruckers and opt to visit either five guys, shake shack or bobbys burger palace whilst in DC- the latter being my personal favourite. The food felt greasy and the beef patty was nowhere near as good as those found at the alternate fast food retailers, particularly shake shack. As well as this, the fries are more like wedges and the milkshakes disappointing; the oreo reminded me of an oversized rip off mc flurry. I definitely wouldnt eat here again, considering the vastly superior options within close vicinity of the restaurant that are available at a similar price point.

Buena hamburguesa, bien preparada. Lo bueno es que le puedes poner todo lo que quieras a la hamburguesa (lechugas y tomates frescos, y un montón de otras cosas). Las papas con paprika están deliciosas. Todo a un precio decente. Recomendable pero no impresionante.

Hmmmm, Fuddruckers has definitely changed. I remember this franchise brand being the bomb when I was younger. Earlier tonight, I had the Chopped Steak which comes with some sauteed mushroom and onions, and a side salad. Turns out that the Chopped Steak was just a burger without the bun. #Weak #Lame. And to top it off, they forgot the salad dressing for my side salad. Fortunately, ketchup, BBQ sauce, and french fries came to save the day...and yes, thats obviously indicative of a "meh" meal.
