I have been coming here since I was little. Usually its amazing. Went yesterday, not amazing. Their rolls are usually my favorite-- ours were cold and the butter they brought us wasnt even spreadable because it came right from the fridge. Ordered a Belgium waffle which it comes with your choice of hasbrowns or muffin, didnt receive one or even get asked about which one I wouldve liked. I asked the waitress and she straight up told me what I got doesnt have a side order, cheked online and it certainly does. Makes me very upset because its like they didnt want to make any more food than they have to and lying to the customers obviously isnt professional. The other thing is, you cant stand a lot of the servers I dont know why there are so many of the same race. Maybe they should add a bit of diversity so we can actually understand one another. Disappointing...

We ordered one veg omelet and one Belgian waffle, the waitress brought us one two veg omelet, refusing to accept that we had ordered differently. The waitress was so rude, she started with shouting that she has taken a note, and while talking just walked away ! after 5 minutes, another waitress was passing by, I asked her for the manager, the manager came and without apologizing said that she can take off one omelet price from the bill. It was only after I told her that it is not about the price, but about her behaviour and how she treated us , that the manager apologized for the waitresss misbehave.

I liked it better 20 years ago. We used to stay at the Little America when we drove from Iowa to Nevada every year. Always ate dinner at the coffee house and almost always ate the Turkey dinner. I remember that they used to roast whole turkeys every day and the slices you got were exactly like Thanksgiving dinner, big and juicy... Tonights dinner was not the same... The plate was smaller and the slices looked like they were cut right off one of those precooked turkey breast roasts that you buy at the store. Not the same as a fresh roast tom turkey dinner.

Who wouldnt enjoy their breakfast with Beethovens moonlight sonata. Had the vegetarian omelette with cottage potatoes and whole wheat toast. The omelette was perfect. The only comment is the tomatoes were inconsistent inside as they were all at one end. Potatoes were perfect and consistently cooked. Whole wheat toast was great. Service was very polite and frequent. A true breakfast pleasure! Restroom was very, very clean.

This is a classy, casual spot that we frequent as often as we can. We love that there is a delicious menu of real food prepared to your taste and it is open late. We usually go for the dinner meal that includes a green salad, warm dinner rolls (yum), the main course, and top it off with ice cream.

Truly incredible service and food! I love the uniforms the servers wear, a step back in time. A big WOW! regarding the menu and the food! I had the Grilled Trout and my sweetheart had the Hot Turkey Open Face Sandwich, fabulously delicious!! And, did I mention the service? Top notch! Great place!

If you have never been here you need to come this is American food from the western United States at its finest. If youre in Salt Lake City this is a bus stop location. I only complaint here is that the parking can be a challenge they need to have more parking for the cafe and the hotel.

We have been regular customers of this restaurant for 40 years, and have seldom had anything but great food and great service. I could make a meal of their hot, fresh rolls with butter and jelly, but all the food is good. I particularly like the chicken soup on Sundays.

Excellent and affordable comfort food in a VERY comfortable atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Great historic photos of Salt Lake City and the Intermountain West provide interesting decor and topics for conversation. I will definitely go back!

Their redesign a few years ago kept all the right things and made it feel contemporary and classic cafe. The prices are higher than I remember, about 15 per plate average, but that may be because I would visit others that were there and they paid....

Incredibly nice staff, a little expensive, food is a bit small but the quality is great. Im glad I dined in with these guys, but to get the 5th star they could be better with asking if I needed anything besides me asking them. Overall I enjoyed it.

Great place to grab a bite to eat be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very nice atmosphere. Service was good. Our waiter could have been a little more pleasant but it appeared she had quite a few tables. Everyone else was very pleasant and helpful.

Great food and service in this diner attached to the Little American Hotel. The biscuits were delicious. Served with honey and a variety of jams. The local bacon is amazing. It is very reasonably priced as well.

Classic, home-style food. Wonderful breakfast food. Some of the best pie in the city (especially the coconut cream). The menu seems to remain pretty static, itd be nice to see some exciting new additions.

A go to place for classic American dining/diner food. Renovated a couple of years ago however the food is great as always. Good service to. A favorite spot for breakfast or hearty lunch.

Delicious homemade dishes that are a throwback to another era of All-American home cooking. Prices are a bit high but the quality of the food for the most part justifies the expense.

The Coffee Shop is not a coffee shop. It is a hotel restaurant that happens to be named The Coffee Shop. I was hungry but didnt eat, because I hate being lied to.

Excellent service and the food is always good. It is such a nice atmosphere to have a family or business lunch. One of my favorites in Salt Lake and I am from L.A.
