Excuse me and Excuse me some more. I was on a trip from Allentown, PA to Los Angeles and stopped by this place on my way back East. Let me just say that I cook, I am a food connoisseur (of sorts) and am frequently asked to cook for people. I have not tasted fish this good since I was on a trip to Cameroon, Africa in a place called Buea located right next to the ocean where they catch the fish, clean it, and cook it right in front of you with diverse spices. I do not understand how the owner can make the fish have such delicious texture and flavor. The greens, rice, beans EVERYTHING, was scrumptious. If you love good food, you need to do yourself a favor, stop looking through Salt Lake City, Utah for a place to eat, and eat here immediately. You do have to wait a little bit for your food but its worth it.

First of all, the place is a bit hard to find because its on the south side of the building - not facing Redwood Road. Once I found it, though, I really liked it. Ismail helped me pick some good entrees and answered all my questions about food, culture, and stuff. I got the lamb with rice and a vegetable/tomato sauce dish with goat; both were very tasty. I was definitely the only white guy in there, which is always a good sign :)

I am from Minnesota so I have eaten in so many Somali restaurants I have to say Noor restaurant met all my expectations. I had pasta/rice with meet. I forgot the banana because of how good the food was and you know the food is good when a Somali eating rice forgets the banana. The girls there were nice and served me well. Its a bit hard to find it tho location wise. I strong recommend eating here specially with family.

The food was great. Had the Lamb with rice. The rice was really good, the green sauce that comes with it had some kick to it (just the way I like it). Really tasty all around, will be coming back.

Second visit I ordered food for take out and found a piece of wire brush. Was not happy at all. Had to throw away rest. Its scary. Be careful.
