Honestly the portions of the food for the price not bad but the being a spicy fan I went for the Tao Chicken and my girlfriend being a sweeter fan went for the Lemon Chicken lets start with the Tao it was super sweet not spicy in any way shape or form it was like Wal-Mart brand sweet&sour sauce dumped on battered chicken as for the Lemon chicken they brought it out and it had limes in the sauce........it wasnt a peaceful as a Asian lady walked into the store into the back and started screaming in the back the. We got our Egg drop soup and it was gel it was very similar to the fatty buildup you get from soups or broth that has been sitting in the fridge over night terrible snotty texture I would avoid this place honestly :/

The food from here was disgusting! I dont know how they ever got a good review, maybe they stopped caring at some point? Usually I crave Chinese food, and want to eat more and more even after Im full. I couldnt force myself to finish even a half a plate from here. I threw everything away. It tasted like it has been frozen, microwaved, then frozen and microwaved like 4 times. It almost made me throw up. I hope I dont get food poisoning from eating it. If they ever were good, its a shame they stopped caring. Ive never had worse Chinese food, and Ive had some pretty gross stuff before. Do yourself a huge favor and dont bother going here, unless you like feeling sick after a few bites! Total waste of 12 bucks!

I have had decent quality meals here and I have had pretty horrible meals here. It is probably related to the quality of meat they can obtain from feral cats and ducks around the Jordan River. After the 5th time, I have given up hope. It is fairly close to my house, so I really hoped the poor dining experience was a fluke. I think the problem is that they dont throw food away. You may get lucky and eat a meal there that was prepped that day, or you could be the unlucky person that gets the 9 day old egg drop soup.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I live in the area so i figured id try it out. I ordered the kung pao beef with a side of chicken fried rice. I brought it home (after stopping for gas) when i fixed a plate i tasted the beef and it was ice cold. I figured maybe it was just one piece but the majority of it was cold. I microvaved it trying to give it the benfit of the doubt only to find out the rice and chicken arent even cooked. Currently trying not to throw up. Praying i do t have food poisoning. Like i said. Do not eat here

Quaint ma and pa restaurant packs a punch in flavor. I ordered the Spicy Garlic Chicken lunch combination, which came out of the kitchen very timely. The veggies in the dish were cut in large chunks and cooked to perfection, smothered in a savory brown garlic sauce with a small amount of heat. As hard as it is to find high quality American-Chinese food here in the Salt Lake Valley, this little shop is truly a diamond in the rough. I am excited to try other menu items. Will be a repeat customer.

This place is decent. In my opinion its not amazing but it isnt terrible either. Their batter on the chicken doesnt seem to be as crispy as other Chinese places but it has good flavor. Price is fair and competitive to most other Chinese restaurants in the valley. Since I moved further north in the valley I havent found a cheap Chinese place with amazing food. Seems like they know what theyre doing more at the south end. My search continues.

I agree that my general tsos chicken was just sauce dumped on battered chicken. The sauce didnt even taste like general tsos, vinegar and ginger. Very disappointed after reading the many good reviews. The egg roll tasted like it came from the freezer. The staff was very pleasant, the service was fast, and the cost was low but these positives dont make up for the horrible food.

If I could give less than one star I would!!! My daughters " orange chicken was really sour and had a gross after taste! I ordered the Kung PAU shrimp and the shrimp tasted like it was boiled then thrown in the sauce. To top it off I got an eggroll with the meal and Im still trying to get the taste of mold out of my mouth!!! Wouldnt feed the left overs to a homeless person. AWFUL!!!

I felt as if I were eating leftover Chinese food when I ordered take out. I watched them heat my egg drop soup up in a microwave. Some of my fried food tasted as if it had freezer burn or something. The pad thai was the only edible item, but was still pretty bad. The worst part is that I couldnt even bring myself to save any of the food I bought for leftovers.

I got the honey walnut shrimp. The batter was mushy & shrimp wasnt deveined which I could somewhat tolerate but then when I took my 3rd bite it was gritty! Wtf doesnt clean the shrimp before serving?! Thats why 1 ⭐️ review plus the fortune cookie wasnt that great either. The chicken my husband & brother had was decent as well

Weve been going to that restaurant for over five years, the food always taste great the people are so nice, and the place is clean. The ambience its always quiet and wonderful, I believe if theres a certain person that doesnt like the food just stop going there. Or make your own at home and dont waste your time thats it.

Ive been going to this place for a very long time. Ive loved there food. They started doing soups and they are really good. Ive eaten it today. It was a really good amount for a really good cost. I would recommend it to anyone. They have a really good lunch special too.

One of our offices favorite places to get lunch, super cheap lunch specials and take out is always ready within the 5 minutes it takes me to drive there. Chicken Pad Thai is my favorite, better than Sam Pan in my opinion.

Fresh, hot and nutritional Chinese cuisine. Delightful staff and very fast service. The food tastes superb. My wife is crazy about thier Sizzling Rice Soup. They also have gluten-free fare! No MSG!

Delicious egg foo yung! If I had more money I would eat here all the time! Not that its too expensive but chinese food you know? If I had a chinese restaurant it would be very similar to this.
