This place is the real deal. Those of us in the area who have been waiting for a good BBQ place are finally in luck. Its exactly what youd expect from an amazing, genuine BBQ restaurant: perfect beef brisket, pulled pork, ribs, tasty homemade sides, etc. Yes, theyve got great English chips (fried potato pieces). Mikey, one of the owners/chefs even brought out some brisket tater tots with jalapeño ranch for some of us to try. They were awesome. They guys next to me were raving about the brisket french dip with au jus sauce made from the brisket drippings. Thatll be my next lunch there. I asked Dusty (the other owner/chef) about an earlier review regarding the smoker acting up and he said they had a couple of hours a few weeks back where someone bumped the smoker damper closed. I guess someone got some bonus free smells that day. The location is a bit off the road (State Street in PG by Smiths) so its not very easy to see but theyve built it out great inside. Its all new and clean. The meat platters are not the cheapest but they are still a lot more affordable than Bam Bams and the lunch specials reduce the cost by a couple bucks. Plus there are lunch combos with various BBQ sandwiches and burgers that put you around $9 for the sandwich, side and drink.

This place is INCREDIBLE! Best Ribs in Utah and Customer service, This place is a hidden gem! My boyfriend and i come in every time hes in town, We are major foodies. Weve never been disappointed with the food and service. When we travel, We make it a goal to try out new BBQ locations in different states. Again, Unbiased to being a Utah Native, This place is HANDS DOWN the best i have found yet. I highly recommend the Wet Ribs, their french dip sandwich (best brisket ), and their bread pudding is INSANELY good. Not only is the food amazing, The staff is SO friendly, accommodating and always go above and beyond to make the dining out experience that much better. By that i mean, More yummy food without asking :) Oh and try the St. Elmos Fire BBQ sauce! Its amazing!

I know BBQ, and this BBQ is good. I have lived in the south, I smoke my own meat in the backyard, and I frequent BBQ joints. A lot of places I go are not as good as the smoked meat I make at home, but The Holy Grill is probably better. I had the pulled pork sandwich and tried a bite of my wifes brisket sandwich. Both were good but I preferred the pulled pork. The meat was juicy and had a. Ice smoke flavor. There is a variety of sauces you could add to the meat at the table. The honey BBQ sauce was really good, and the red Kansas City style BBQ was the usual. I also had the mac and cheese on the side, which was a little runny but very tasty. This place well exceeded my expectations. Its reasonably cheap and very good.

My husband and I ate there last night, and I can honestly say it is the best bbq I have ever eaten. We split the 3 meat (5 oz each) and got an extra side all for only $21 and change and we left stuffed. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their food craft and want to please the public. The pulled pork was so tender and flavorful but not fatty like some places serve. The Ribs. Oh, my yum!!! Very meaty and fall off the bone. Unreal. And, I am not usually a fan of brisket, but that is probably because none of it I had previously tasted like this! And, I just want to thank them for serving English Chips. Love these and they are hard to find. We will be back often!!

Ive visited them twice. The first time was a Saturday night. They were out of everything. It was around 7pm. The next time was a Friday night at 7:30 and they were out of potatoes and pulled pork. I bought the last rack of ribs. I know they dont want to waste food by cooking too much but on a weekend you need to be able to serve people beyond 7pm. The ribs were very good. The portions on the french fries and cole slaw were ridiculous. $2.50 for no more than a 1/2 cup of cole slaw? $2.50 for french fries the size of a McDonalds small? Why so cheap? They have potential but need to mature as a restaurant.

I cannot praise this establishment highly enough!! The owner is extremely kind and outgoing, he will bring out complimentary dessert for you to try after you eat. He threw in a free drink while I waited. Oh and the food is INCREDIBLE! You cant go wrong with anything on the menu, Ive had the bacon, lettuce, chicken sandwich, French dip and the Brisket sandwich. The sides are all excellent too! The Holy Grill has quickly replaced my current fave BBQ joint; Id happily drive a great distance to eat here. You feel genuinely cared for here both in the remarkable service and in the fantastic food!

This place just won my husband and I over. Seems like we may abandon our other BBQ joint to make The Holy Grill our new go to place for barbecue. The food is great. We tried the ribs, brisket, and French Dip. Everything was delicious. Their English Chips, as mentioned by another reviewer, really are "pillows of delicious love". We also got to try their strawberry shortcake. Tasted homemade and scrumptious. And best of all, the customer service is beyond amazing. Great family atmosphere and friendly staff.

Hands down the best place you can go if you want amazing BBQ or surprisingly, one of the best burgers you can possibly get! I go here at least once a week. The staff are friendly and helpful. The owners, Dusty and Mike, make a point to go out and talk to people to make sure you are having a good experience. The English Chips though, that is the single greatest side Ive ever had anywhere. Its like someone fried happiness and made it edible. Eat there, or you will never know true joy... I swear on my life.

Yummiest BBQ Ive had in a LONG time!! I had the sliced brisket dip sandwich and it was delicious. I usually expect BBQ restaurants to be quite pricey but The Holy Grill was very reasonable compared to other places around town and worth every penny! Loved the sweet potato fries and English chips. The meat was so fresh and tender. Loved the different sauce options too. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Utah County area!

This place is really great - best BBQ Ive had outside of my house, hands down. We tried the brisket, pulled pork and ribs and loved all of it. Everything was tender, juicy and flavored excellent and the ribs were fall off the bone delicious. Tried a bite of the English style "chips" and they were great as well - just like the chips I would eat in Australia. 5 stars!

The "brisket balls" or "brisket tots" or whatever they end up being called are amazing. Dip them and your English fries in the jalapeno cream sauce. Taste the flavor in the brisket before lathering it up with the orange crush barbecue sauce. The Smoky flavor is amazing. The ribs are the best around. And the owners and atmosphere are awesome. They deserve your business.

Holy BBQ! The brisket was perfect, Ive tried brisket all over Texas (I have a lot of family there) and this brisket was just right and better then a lot of Texas brisket. I really dont like it too dry and sometimes wet is too flabby, but this place had it just right. Sauce selection was alright but it was honestly good without sauce!!!! The staff was very friendly.
