I dont like to give low ratings, but this place taught me that not all Indian food is created equally. I used to live in Lehi and Bombay House was the 1st place I ate Indian food and absolutely fell in love with it. I visit the area twice a year and Bombay House was a "must go there" stop. My last trip a few wks ago, I stayed in the A.F. area and going to Provo was too much of a time crunch. I decided to give this place a try. I ordered paneer tiki masala and somosas. I really wanted to like it, but everything about the dish was off. The paneer didnt have the same fresh taste, texture. The sauce lacked the creamy smoothness and the spice/seasoning lacked the wonderful layers of flavor that Ive come to love so much from the dishes prepared at Bombay House. The staff was courteous, the atmosphere was nice, clean. But the lingering smell from the kitchen didnt have the same inviting aroma. While I had placed a carry out order, the lingering kitchen smell was off putting. I wish I could say I loved the food and leave a better rating. Like I said, the staff was friendly and courteous, but people are mainly concerned how the food tastes. Perhaps I went during a very slow time and ended up with sauce and paneer that sat for way too long? Idk...I wasnt able to take more than two bites of it before having to toss it out. I just couldnt get past the smell of the sauce for a 3rd bite. Sorry!!

Amazing service and even better food!!! I am sitting here in awe inside the restaurant right now. They brought us our order before my wife had even gone to the bathroom. Our waters were filled at every glance, multiple helpers came to see we were enjoying our food. Our waiter in specific had answered a question to see if they could make me a special cheese naan and he brought it out with a smile. They went above and beyond what we expected. At first glance, the portion seemed small until we started eating. Wow we were impressed at how much meat was in each portion. My wife couldnt finish all of hers even. For orders, my wife had the chicken coconut korma - which is a tan/orange looking curry with an amazing coconut flavor. I had the chicken sag - which is a green spinach and white sauce mix, green in color of course. We both got mild levels of spice. We will definitely be coming here again! 5 stars from an athletic couple who eats out every night at different cuisines.

I dont know why people are complaining about portion sizes, to be honest. Maybe they have changed them, but here is my experience ordering for pick up. For three entrees, we got an entire lunch-sized styrofoam container full of rice. I think its Basmati. We had extra after everyone got theirs. The curry came in a container a maybe bit bigger than a Ben and Jerrys container of ice cream. Because of all the reviews about portion size, we decided to get appetizers and soup. The Mulakatani soup was in a container about half the size of the curry container. The samosas were a good size, as well as the chutney that came with them. Honestly, we probably would have been more than OK with just the entrees. Naan was a good size. The food is just so-so. Its good, especially the soup, but not great. We will be returning.

If you havent yet been to this place and supported a FANTASTIC local business its time you went today!! They are located where the old Wingers used to be on State Street in American Fork. I have become totally addicted to this place. Theyre not cheap but the food is amazing. If youre really want a food adventure try the goat, yes the goat. Its eaten all over the world. Its a little bony and more chewy than what youre used to, but the taste is out of the world. The foods come in mild, medium, and hot. If you like spicy Mexican, go for the hot. If youre sick of boring burgers, and mediocre Mexican food, try Genesh. And if you ever wondered what the the Malakatani *spelling* soup was on Seinfeld from the soup Nazi, yes they have it and I wish they sold it by the gallon.

This was my first time at this place. From the outside it doesnt look very special. The parking lot in the front was small but I noticed that there are more places behind the building. The restaurant itself wasnt very big, it felt like the building used to be an old diner. But just remember looks can be deceiving. They have a lunch buffet with a good selection of authentic Indian food. I really enjoyed their naan. Wasnt the best I have ever had but good nonetheless. I was very satisfied with my meal. I had 3 full plates, thats how good it was. The service was fantastic. They were super friendly and were quick to make me feel welcomed. Definitely a place I will come back to. If your in the area dont pass by this place. Stop by and have some good food with good people.

The food is not fresh. I have purchases 2 chicken biryani and the rice is not properly cooked. The rice looked like it was frozen for a long time and microwaved. The biryani did not tate like a biryani at all. The wait is well over 40 minutes whether you dine in or pick up. The food is not freshly made and freezed. They microwave and just act as if this is freshly made. I will never visit this restaurant any time. The prices are over priced for the quality of the food they are delivering. None of the servers smile and provide good customer service except one guy named roopak. For every reason, please avoid this. There is nothing good about this place.

I got the coconut shrimp korma. It was good. Others in my group got the butter chicken and the tikka masala, they were okay. Like others have said, both kind of just tasted like really concentrated tomato soup. We actually couldnt tell the difference between the two, and Im not sure there was one... I would have given three or four stars for the food, but the service was simply not good. Our food took a really long time, beyond an excusable time frame, even for a Saturday night. We ordered extra rice which also took a really long time. And it was surprisingly difficult just to get our waters refilled.

Ganesh does have a menu, but I have never looked at it because all I want is their lunch buffet. It is a fairly small buffet, but it has really tasty items that I go back for at least a second time. Quantities are limited in the buffet, which is good because that means they are constantly bringing out fresh food. The service is good. They are very attentive to clearing used plates and refilling glasses. Its a small and quiet restaurant, without music blaring overhead, so its very conducive to business meetings or conversations in general. I always leave satisfied and look forward to the next visit.

My first, very nasty review, was about my experience with a buffet. I concede I may have erred in judgement, but think that buffets are almost always a bad idea. Subsequently I have tremendously enjoyed their fantastic goat dishes. Truly, if youve not experienced real indian goat dishes I highly suggest you try. The other stuff is delicious too but I fear I simply love their goat curry too much to sample a lot of the other. The owner seems to be a true gentleman, who responded gently with common sense to my rather hasty complaint, which I wont repeat and do rescind. Clean and delicious.
