ONE STAR because food is yummy other than that WORST service EVER!!! My husband and i really wanted Chinese food and had never been here before. He had just gotten off of work and got there at 7pm. We ordered sweet and sour chicken and lo mein. They did not bring our food out until 9pm. The restaurant was NOT busy, only one other couple and a group of 4 guys and yes my husband and i both remember because we were trying to figure out what was taking them so long to bring out such little food. We wondered if it was because there was alot of take out orders but you should NEVER ignore your customers that are dining in orders. So we did not get out until they were closing and the sun was down. We just decided to try another time but do take out because the food really is good. But This time after i ordered my food and asked for it to be ready at 6:30 she had asked me if its okay if its alittle late like 5 mins but knowing before what happened i responded by saying yes but last time we went in we waited for our food for 2 hrs and we would not like that to happen again. Her response back was "Umm thats not possible maam, maybe it was 15 mins and you thought it was 2hrs..." This employee refused to listen, apologize or even accept what i had to say. TERRIBLE SERVICE. We will never go there again.

Horrible. Thumbs down! What a small selection for a buffet, only 8-10 things there. Both times I have been there, its been fairly slow, and yet the food was never checked on or refilled. The first time I went, the food was stale and crusty, the noodles are made with regular spaghetti noodles and lack flavor. The price was "you got what you paid for" at $8. The soup was thick and sticky, salty and also tasted slimy and right out of a box (you could also taste the metal from the container it was stored in). The pieces of chicken I ate were rock hard and no flavor. The wings- the same. They replaced these with "bbq pork" later in the day. Very little meat in the actual dishes like moo goo gai pan and other veggie-meat combinations. Only, chicken, beef, and pork, no shrimp or mussels or anything seafood. Bad service, and the only good thing you got was free drinks (coke products).

First time impressions- Its a typical menu, but they make it super fresh. Pretty unique though is their curry options. My husband got squid in curry sauce and loved it. Id never seen the squid prepared that way, and the curry made me feel like I was at an Indian restaurant. I got General Tsos, and it tasted surprisingly fresh and crispy. The pepper symbol didnt mean too much to me. It just wasnt hot, but I find that pretty typical across Americanized-Chinese food. That said, it takes quite a bit of time to get stuff out to you, and its a buck or two more extensive than, say, Chens. Also, they dont itemize the bill for you, so I feel like they stuck an extra dollar charge or two charge in there, because my math didnt quite add up... But I did substitute ham fried for streamed rice so maybe thats the charge but it isnt posted on the menu. All in all, well probably return again!

First time there. We when for Buffet, missed it by 5 minutes. So we were told had to order off menu. Then about 10 minutes later 4 other people came in both groups order the buffet. Orange beef was tasty and great amount of food. Chow Mein was tasteless and very juicy. Fried wonton was nice and hot. Will give it another change.

Pretty good, especially for the price. If youre looking for a Chinese food fix and PF Changs or even Panda isnt an option for your budget, Great China comes close enough to hitting the mark. (Also, ask the waitresses for their opinions, theyre super helpful. And NEVER get the hot and sour soup.)

Decent food for a decent price. Came in during the buffet hours and was greeted and seated immediately. The staff did take a while to notice that out drinks were empty and requiring a refill and the buffet line was pretty empty for about 10 minutes. Oh well, thats what a $7 buffet gets you.

The food was pretty good and the service was good, but it was a but slow. Also, you can only order fried rice as a large side. You cant get it with a meal as a side. That being said the prices are incredibly cheap and you get a lot of food for it. Youll definitely have leftovers.

My favorite Chinese cuisine in utah valley. Very kind staff, excellent food, especially the Sichuan Chicken, the fried won tons, and potstickers. So delicious. the Buffett is good but those fresh meals are unbeatable. Thanks for the awesome food experiences Great China!

The restaurant has a good buffet. If you get there towards the end of the buffet time though the food starts to get cold. When I went it wasnt very busy. I ordered Szechuan Chicken it took about ten minutes for it to come out, but once it did it was fresh made and hot.

I have been going to this place for years, and I love it. Their food is cheap, tastes great, and the lunch buffet is awesome. The staff is great, and very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone whos looking for something good to eat, for the right price.

The food was probably 3/5 stars for the price that you pay. Decent cheap Chinese. However, when we checked out the lady charged me 5 extra dollars and would not tell me what for. Finally I got so frustrated and just paid hence the 2 stars.

Family favorite restaurant. Delicious food. They are very accommodating. When I was rushing and had very little time for a lunch break they rushed my order through. Im always happy when I order food from there. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Great China for over 10 years. The food is great! I have eaten Chinese cuisine all over the orient and all over the United States and Great China has some of the best Chinese food I have ever eaten.

Ive been coming here for 22 years! I love this place as well as the people running it. The food is delicious! I go to their buffet about once a week and never get sick of it. For me, no other Chinese food compares!

The food is above average and consistent. Servers are friendly as always, what bugs me is that they always do the cleaning all the time. Its good to keep the restaurant clean but a little bit bugging (to me).

Love the food and price. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because they are understaff. Sometimes the wait can be forever especially if you go during dinner time (6 or 7pm). Overall pretty sweet :)
