I have been going to this restaurant for almsot 5 years, and I have slowly watched it decline in quality as they rebuild. The place looks amazing. The food is great when they make it fresh, but their customer service has fallen so far to the wayside that they get upset if you even ask for anything to be made fresh,the waiter who has been there the entire time I have been going was originally an amazing waiter, but anymore he doesnt respond when you talk to him, he walks away without a response when you request chops sticks and only sometimes remembers to return with them. He fails to get refills any longer and even threw the food we set to the side on another table near us on the floor in an almsot hissy fit when he came and took it away(a plate of garlic bread because noone at the table wanted any of what we had grabbed because it was hard as rock). I then went up to ask for our refills and waited for 5 minutes, while they all suddenly had other places in the restaurant to be and met eyes with the front counter woman who proceeded to turn and walk away. So I ended up having to refill our sodas myself from behind their counter. It saddens me greatly to have to look for a new Chinese place as this was our favorite place on Bozeman until this most recent bad experience, and now I will make sure to let everyone I know that its a waste of time and money to provide custom to such a degraded rate of service establishment.

This is our familys favorite restaurant. The service is the best in town. The staff there are attentive and if you return there more than once, its likely they will remember the special needs of your family. For instance, our daughter loves the crab legs there, but they can be quite messy, so they always bring us extra napkins and a tool to crack the shells. They remember that each time we come all of us order Root beer. The last time we were there, one of the waiters even drew a picture of an oriental dragon for my daughter who had drawn him a picture first. The food is always great, with a big variety; youll like the selection even if you arent crazy about chinese food. I tell everyone I know about Panda Buffett and strongly recommend it to all!

We called the Panda Buffet 3 weeks ago about their torn and tattered American Flag, suggesting they take it down or replace it. The manager said they had a new one on order, but, even if that were true, they should take down and properly retire the flag they currently have flying. Its very simple in Bozeman as Kenyon Noble has a bin in the front of their store for American flags that the American Legion will come retrieve for a proper and respectful retirement. I dont know about the rest of you, but the battered flag flying at Panda Buffet offends me as a patriotic American citizen.

Lets be clear, Ive had better fine dining Chinese, but this is something different this is Chinese Buffet (next to an interstate). This is my favorite Chinese buffet in Bozeman. It offers my favorite buffet dishes: General Tsos chicken, sweet and sour chicken, white rice, pork fried rice, egg rolls, crab ragons, wonton soup, vegtable lo mein etc. The dishes are somewhat hit and miss much in general most of what they serve is fair to good as far as Chinese Buffet goes. I always get a pot or 2 of green tea. Know before you go: Ice cream is hard not soft serve.

I guess I dont understand the negative reviews of Panda. Im not sure what people expect - this is ***Bozeman***.... **MONTANA**. This isnt the hotbed of Chinese food in the world. Ive been to Panda 3 times - the service is always excellent and the food better-than-average for a Chinese buffet. Keyword: BUFFET. If youre looking for *great* Chinese food, why are you at a buffet? In Bozeman? In Montana??? For the area, and for the price - the food and service at Panda hits the mark. Go with *realistic* expectations and you will not be disappointed.

Very good food for a Chinese buffet. Ive certainly had better, but it fills you up and leaves you satisfied (if a little disgusted with yourself.) I wish there were more dessert options and their sushi was a little fresher. Overall the selection is pretty good though. The service is about typical and what you would expect, they grab you plates as soon as they are empty and refill your water constantly. The management can be seen yelling at the employees every once in a while which takes away from the experience a bit. The atmosphere is nice.

Its a Chinese buffet off the freeway. Be sensible. Why would you eat seafood from a roadside buffet??? Everything else is ok. $11.50 for dinner. Does not include beverage. I think soda is a buck. Trust your eyes. Eat the popular stuff and stay away from food that looks like its been in the pan for a while. If youre looking for something quick, easy and reasonably palatable then this is the place. If you want good food go into town. Bozeman has plenty of good restaurants.

Just stopped here for lunch and it was absolutley disgusting. There where about 4 thibgs to chise from that had more then a spoonful left in them and everything else was either all gone or half gone, burnt and dried out from being under the warmer all day. We where there for 30 minutes and they still didnt replace anything on the buffet I asked the server and he acted like he didnt undertstand what I was asking him. The worst experience ever and my bill was 35$. Never again.

We stopped at Panda Buffet today while traveling through. The first thing we noticed wzs how good the food smelled. The inside has a very clean and authentic decor and music. The staff were very cordial and attentive. The buffet price is very reasonable. And if that wasnt good enough, the food blew our tastebuds away! PHENOMENAL! Best Chinese food ever! Thank you Panda Buffet and staff! We will be back everytime we pass thru!

Food is edible, but not good. Wonton soup sat out long enough brown hard spots where they were sticking out of the broth. Nice remodel, except no one told them to peel the protective plastic off the seat bases.... Most days I can convince my daughter to go anywhere else, but every 6 to 9 months I lose. Its a shame too. The food was much better years back.

I have had Chinese food all over the world. GERMANY, ITALY and US. This food is at the top. The staff are so respectful and kind. The food at the buffet was in small portions so it was always hot always fresh. They have pineapple chicken, butter chicken my stomach is never big enough to eat everything. The place is clean and comfortable. Best in Montana

Every year I give them a try and every year I decide Im not going back. They have a wide selection of food available but it just isnt that good. Gave them my yearly try a couple weeks ago and every item I tried was just bland. The people are friendly enough. They just need someone who really knows how to cook.
