I have been a frequent visitor of this Kneaders since I became a local to the area. I usually have a very decent experience except for slow service sometimes and their online ordering is absolutely not up to par. (AKA you set a pickup time for an order ..you show up at pickup time and they havent even started making your order... OK, lesson learned...absolutely done with Bountiful Kneaders online ordering) moving along... I was in Kneaders the other day to pick up some treats and I noticed one of their employees who must work in the back of the establishment was in the front area behind the counter. I couldnt put my finger on it but I knew that she looked familiar. Anyway, I could not help but overhear the way she was speaking to a couple of the employees. Apparently shes a manager because she made that clear to those couple employees she was talking down to...Mind you, this was all in front of other customers who were ordering or in line waiting to order! I heard an employee call her by her name which I remembered was, Anna. Her unprofessional behavior and lack of customer service skills really struck me so I decided to dig a little deeper. Well, I really didnt have to do much digging to find out why she looked so familiar! She was recently arrested for THEFT a few weeks before I witnessed this encounter and her mug shot was all over the internet! As a customer, all I can say is, "WOW....I cant even believe this woman still has a job." I am very shocked that an establishment such as Kneaders allows the type of behavior from manager to lower staff that she publicly presented in front of other employees and customers. Needless to say, I will not be returning. Very unfortunate.

I always like Kneaders food and have been happy with this location. The only time I had a problem was today when my teenage son went in to buy a birthday gift for his sister he knew she wanted. When he came back to the car with a ceramic gift item, I saw it had a chip on the top and on the front. My son said it was the only one left. I called the store to ask if they would be getting any others in. After checking, the manager at the time, let me know that they would not be able to exchange the item. (He said all sales are final and are noted on receipts-yes well, that is info obtained after the purchase of the item). I felt no matter the circumstance, he was never going to consider anything different. If they are wiling to sell damaged merchandise, it would be considerate and good customer service to let customers know they cant return items, since receipts are after the fact. Yes, my son should have noticed it was damaged, but even more so, employees should be vigilant in making sure they are not selling damaged items with their no returns policy. Hopefully employees will look over items before they sell them in the future, otherwise, please dont make the mistake my son did. With the majority of stores being more than willing to work with customers on this type of thing, Kneaders is a minority-although, I believe this situation has more to do with management.

I love kneaders, and generally even when the lines are long the wait is usually worth it but today, not so much! I dashed in to get three meals “to go /take out” and was so very, very disappointed! My salad was filled with disgusting, gross, appalling, lettuce. I felt like they had chopped off the end of the head of roman lettuce (which should be tossed in the garbage can) and stuck it in my bowl. It wasn’t fresh, it looked horrible and after only a few bits it was tossed in the garbage. Those that were with me as we ate kept saying, “I’m so sorry, that looks awful”. The lettuce was one thing, but was even more disappointing, there was not even a fork full of turkey meat, I kept searching in the lettuce in hopes of finding wonderful, moist turkey, without success. There were exactly three tomatoes on the Turkey Bacon Avocado Salad. The second salad I purchased was the Turkey Cranberry Sunflower. I gave that to my daughter in law since it looked a little bit better on top but the bottom, looked like the same gross romaine lettuce. She at least had a bit more turkey than I ended up with. Extremely disheartening and absolutely inadequate!

We eat at this restaurant on a fairly regular basis and tonight was very disappointing. We arrived there about 7:45 pm and placed our order with a young lady that needs to learn to smile. The food was fine, once we finally got it which means the service was very slow. Most of the tables were dirty, probably from the dinner rush but nobody was making any attempt to clean them. Worst of all was the floor in front of the soda machine. There was a huge puddle of dirty water there and nobody was making any attempt to clean it up. The employees and manager ( at least I assume he was the manager because he was wearing a tie) seemed to be mostly messing around in the back. I issued a complaint to a nice young lady about the dirty conditions and she apologized but the manager made no move to come out and inspect what I was talking about. Im not a curmudgeon and I might have understood if they were busy but there were only two or three other customers in the store while we were there. I sincerely hope they read this review and make the necessary adjustments.

Transaction ID 880206 Cashier 2326 Krystal: I ordered a chicken Caesar and a diet Coke, then enjoyed a 15 minute wait in the drive through. When I finally got to the window, Krystal confirmed my order as a diet Coke and chicken salad sandwich. I told her that I had ordered a salad, and she gave me a dirty look, like I didnt know what I had really ordered... She then said that Id need to wait while they made the salad, and didnt apologize for her error. I waited another 7 minutes at the window, and she gave me my drink and the bag with my salad. She said in a snarky fashion, "your napkins and utensils are in the bag." So I drove off thinking everything was cool. When I got back to the office, there was no fork in the bag, and all I could find was a plastic spoon in the break room. So I had to use my thumb to hold the lettuce on the spoon and eat my $10.00 dinner. Thanks for a terrible experience devoid of any humanity or semblance of customer service.

Our visit to Kneaders in Bountiful, Ut, took place Aug 19, 2016 in the late evening. The chicken noodle soup was good (could have used a bit more chicken) and the slices of wheat bread were tastey as well. We got the bread pudding to go along with our meal. Mark, the owner, came out into the dining area and greeted folks and asked how the meal was. It was my sense he was genuinely interested in how satisfied we were with the meal. He also made sure we received a free loaf of his specialty bread. Other diners received a loaf as well. I would definitely recommend this location as long as Mark is there. He made all the difference in our dining experience.
