My golfing buddies and I came in 6/29/17. I ordered the large salad for $5.99. What they brought me was a salad that looked like they grabbed a handful of lettuce from a Costco or Sams Club bag of lettuce, cut 4 thin slices of cucumber and served it to me. I went back to the counter and pointed to the photo of a salad which appeared to have tomatoes, broccoli, and other vegetables - the young woman at the counter said she would check and, to the best of my knowledge, she didnt do anything. Another member of my group ordered the Loaded Mashed Potato which is suppose to have potato, cheese, bacon, green onion and sour cream according to their menu. There were no green onions, maybe 3 bacon bits and I cant verify any sour cream or cheese. Another customer sitting by me was approached by the staff and told that they didnt have the cornbread and inquired if they would like something in replacement - this was in the middle of the day. I happen to see that same customer the next day and he mentioned that their entire meal was not as good as they had received before. If that is the quality of meal we can expect from the Huntsville Barbecue Company, we will not go back. Unless this changes drastically, I would expect they will be out of business in a very short time.

I was so excited to try this place, and thought Id made a good choice by all the awards on the walls, even though it was small. There was no one up front for a few minutes, and we were grudgingly rung up $45 for a family meal. We ordered the shredded chicken but got roasted chicken, but we ate it anyway. It was ok. The pulled pork was dissapointing, but the brisket was absolutely perfect. Id say brisket is their thing; they cant seem to get anything else right. Three slices of wonder bread for our family of four, wow. Cornbread, maybe? I ordered a side salad after we started, and five minutes later they said they were out of salads, would I like something else? I did want to try their coleslaw, since their baked beans were awful, but I tried peach cobbler instead. Well, thatll be twenty minutes. So banana pudding it was. It was excellent but needed to be inside a flaky pie crust. Instead it was in a cheap styrofoam cup, like everything else. Sigh. I wish Id been here in this places golden days, cause it looks like it was amazing. However, its a has been place where you get to overhear everyones conversations (because theyre a foot away), all of which revolved around peoples diabetes and chemotherapy. Just a depressing

Let me set the stage! Our party of eleven people showed up at 7:oo pm on July 5. they had already served over 5,000 the day before and almost that many on the day we were there and we didnt have reservations. All the staff was busy but very kind. there was one waitress that went above and beyond all expectations.Anna is her name, she rounded up tables and chairs as well as making sure we exactly what we ordered. I have truly never seen a waitress work so hard to get us all together and served. The food and atmosphere was exceptional! Dont miss this fabulous food at a good and fair cost. The park atmosphere in the back shouldnt be missed. Take the kids and there is plenty of room for them to run. If youre lucky you will catch a night with live entertainment and a fabulous waitress named Anna.

Some people may love this place, I am very very picky about my barbeque the night we visited I was not impressed, but many people recommended the place. Placing my order was difficult as the menu boards are not clear as to what is what i had to ask tons of questions and still felt like I was ordering in the dark. We probably wont be back to this location.... But i recommend you try it for yourself. I dont believe our experience is the norm considering the locals love the place. I do try to be fair. It could be that what they do is just not my thing. On a positive note they keep the sauce on a heated bar so you can test them and then use as little or a lot to suite your taste. Only thing i would wish for would be one sauce that was not sweet as in spicy and vinegary no sugar or honey.

Ever since I moved from Texas 5 years ago, Ive been searching for some decent barbeque. Well the search is over. The brisket was smokey and moist, and the turkey was great. I liked the sauce bar area, lots of choices. They even had a awesome local brand of bottled sodas. The root beer was my favorite. The atmosphere had me feeling like I was back in Texas. Also just outside was a quaint little old timely park area. My family enjoyed walking around and looking at the old buildings. Service was fast, and the staff was friendly. Even though I live about an hour away, I will be back for sure when ever I am hungry for real Texas barbeque.

The Ribs, Chicken, Brisket and Pulled Pork were EXCELLENT, The best i have had in years since living in Utah. My only complaints were the BBQ Beans tasted like Chili Powder in stead of BBQ Beans, the Potato Salad was soooo dry, not very good and the Peach Cobbler was more like Bead Pudding with peaches. I grew up in Oklahoma and i know how Potato Salad, BBQ Beans and Peach Cobbler are suppose to taste and where was the Corn Bread and the Okra and Blackeyed Peas???? We will eat there again as the Ribs were excellent!! Maybe they will try a new recipe for the things i listed that were not very good.....

As a Texan, I grew up on fantastic brisket and ribs. I have finally found a Utah BBQ restaurant that matches the incredible offerings in central Texas. The Hunsville BBQ Company is simply the best BBQ in Utah. The owner is from Texas and, after learning his trade at some of the finest BBQ joints in Austin, he came here to share his wonderful talent by opening this restaurant. Service is great and the atmosphere is attractive and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to everyone who comes to Huntsville.

16 of us showed up and dropped $150.00 for our meal. We were told there were no ribs, brisket or pulled pork left. Yet after we were served chicken and sausage, other patrons that came in behind us were served, ribs, brisket and pulled pork. When we confronted the female owner, she was very combative and not one bit apologetic. That was our 3rd visit, the first two were nice. But this visit was so disappointing we will never go back.

We have loved driving up to Huntsville BBQ but were extremely disappointed with our dinner tonight. Very overpriced -- paid $30 for two sandwiches and fries, very little meat and stale buns. However, the fries and fry sauce were very good! I understand that it is now under new ownership -- maybe this is the issue. Bummed weve lost our BBQ spot and will not be going again. Maybe well try the saloon around the corner.

I have lived in Austin, Tx for most of my life and have tried all kinds of barbecue, and going to Texas Pride Barbecue was like being back in Texas. Awesome job! The meat is perfectly smoked and moist. The atmosphere is beautiful. I totally recommend this place. Take a trip up to Huntsville it is so worth it. What a hidden treasure.
