OVERVIEW – 3.25 Stars Came here for the first time for my boss’s farewell lunch. At the end, as we were paying for our meal, I noticed their awards hanging up next to the register, they dated back to at least 1994, so they must be doing something right to be around for such a long amount of time. LOCATION – 5 Stars Found at the edge of a strip mall. They do have a spectacular view to a valley down below, but unfortunately in the slowness of the afternoon we were seated at the front of the store, overlooking the dirty, slush covered cars in the parking lot. PRICE – 3 Stars My original response to the prices was that they were a little steep for my liking. Fortunately, we discovered that the laminated menus for the lunch specials were carelessly forgotten. I purchased the lunch combo for $7.99, and feel like it was comparable with the serving portion for a Chinese restaurant. PRODUCT/SERVICE – 3 Stars The food was good. I particularly favored the honey glazed grilled pork, the egg flower soup was delicious as well. The rice was simply just rice. I found the sweet-n-sour pork a little bland, it may had been because it looked like sweet-n-sour chicken and my tastebuds were confused on what my eyes were indicating. EMPLOYEES – 2 Stars The waitress that served us was friendly. I did however find her services lacking. Only once did she refill my drink, and that’s only after it had been sitting for several minutes. We also found it odd, that she brought out individual plates over a long amount of time. There didn’t seem to be much order to when each individual would get their plate, and some that had second plate received those at random times as well.

To the owner of Cafetran I am not writing this to degarade your Restaurant in fact my family and I have been coming here for a while since you have open I will continue to come always enjoyed except today . Wife and I came at abou 2:30pm ordered Wonton Soup with noodle , sir if you have the time check on what your cook makes. The waitress asked me to replace my soup but I didnt have time to redo my meal and its no big deal I could not eat it. I have been eating Wonton Soup for over 45 years and this Wonton Soup with noodles was the worst one yet that I have ever eaten the soup stock was way to salty , wontons hardly any meat and l know pork the was almost spoiled had a funny smell and taste .The pinnacle of the soup the wow factor is supposed to be the fried Wonton they put on top was suppose to be the thing I always look for witch should be always put me over the top on how great the soup is. Sorry to say the worst had to spit it out the shirmp was hard and tough like it the shrimp was in fridge for awhile and tough. I will contiue to come and go back to my Steak Pho because you have other things on the menu we like I hope you can continue to serve the other greatness in menu, it was probably only a Glirch I will let the people rate my experience 1 - 5 ?

To keep my review simple, if I could put zero stars I would. The fortune cookie I got as I paid was the best part of our meal. We ordered the Pho Ha Noi. Either they put only 1 ladle of broth or they gave us an old bowl of pho that sat there because the bowls came out cooled down, with soggy noddles and the broth evaporated. I dont know if this is a correlation to the lack of customers that come in but they were cheap on the amount of vegetables. For 2 orders of pho bowls, they gave half a fist of my little Asian hand of sprouts and the top 3 leaves of a basil stem. Including the bad attitude and customer service we had, Id say were making a note to self to never go to that location again.

The food is mediocre and overly priced. The vegetables were brown and wilted. The breading on the chicken was thick and greasy. The restaurant is dirty and dust is caked on light fixtures and all the knick knacks. The owner and staff are lazy and rude. Customer service and retention is not a priority. They made a mistake on our order and did not offer to correct it, instead they argued with us. I had to demand a refund that the owner first told me she wouldnt do. Save yourself the money and the drive and skip this restaurant.

We were introduced recently to Cafe Trang in Salt Lake and loved it. They also have another location in Draper and it, too, we enjoyed thoroughly. We havent been to the Park City or two other locations. Im told the food is mainly Vietnamese, but they have a number of variations of my favorite Chinese and Thai dishes, too. Weve enjoyed the Caramel Pork, Vietnamese Shaking Beef Cubes, Vermicelli Noodles with BBQ Pork and egg roll. Food is great and prices are very reasonable.

Ordered the General Tsos chicken, my favorite dish at any Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, the chicken wasnt just a non-standard spin on the original recipe, but completely different in the sense that I couldnt recognize the taste and sauce. Not spicy, tangy, or slightly sweet in any sense. Simply mediocre, with gigantic chunks of low-quality meat, all for $5 more than usual. Wondering if the chef gave me another dish on accident? I guess Ill never know...

For over 20 years now my wife and I have been dining at the various Cafe Trang locations in SLC. Weve tried new places and can never find anyone to compete. Customer service is always wonderful and I their food never disappoints. I always like to suggest the Fresh Spring Rolls and the Saigon Noodle Salad and make sure to order a little side of Siriachi sauce for the side. This is a long time favorite place of ours.

I came here for lunch with a bunch of co-workers and really liked it. Unfortunately, I had a cold at the time, so I couldnt really taste the food and everything - although, what I could taste was excellent. Ive heard nothing but good things about this place and it lived up to my expectations. You get good portion sizes for a good price. The food is unique and tastes great! Good place.

We picked up take out and the food was rotten. I couldnt believe they would give it to us...it was really bad. I have eaten here in the past and it was good, but my friend also got food poisoning here. Im done coming back. The server was also rude the last time I came in. In the past I think the owner use to be there more and she was very nice, but it has gone down hill sadly.

Great place for lunch. They do pretty well on most things. They are a small step above most other quick little Asian Food places. They have a great lunch menu, consisting of smaller portions of their dinner items. The facilities are a bit worn out, menus are falling apart, bathroom are beat up. They just built a new one at Traverse Mountain, so that might be a better choice.

I will NEVER go there again. Mediocre food and the service was horrible. Tried to use a 2 for 1 coupon and they tried to weasel out of it, saying it was "dine in" only. It was not and nowhere on the coupon did it say that. After begrudgingly agreeing to honor the coupon, she ripped the whole page of coupons up and threw it in the trash. Those were my coupons.
