I did not expect to like this place, because Im all about greasy cheese steak sandwiches and burger joints. I was totally won over by the flavors here. I went on back-to-back visits. Rice bowl: great, although I recommend the peanut sauce, which they dont have at every location for some reason. It was great. And now I feel like I have to have cilantro on every rice bowl I have in the future. Inconvenient, that. Sandwich: again the sauce the put on it was great and the steak was good, although next time I think I will go with the chicken, which I had on the rice bowl. Portion sizes were adequate, but not huge. The drink selection had buzzwords like "organic" on them, but what is organic about soda? I checked their website, and they didnt have nutritional facts published (bad for a place trying to cater to health-nuts like this one is.) While the prices were a bit high IMO, Ill be back from time to time.

I absolutely LOVE Zao Asian Cafe! They have incredible rice bowls! My favorite is the steak rice bowl with their sweet teriyaki sauce. If you like spicy, which I dont, my friends tell me their green curry sauce is to die for. Zao caters at my work, and I generally start to dislike a place after eating it frequently at work. Not so with Zao Asian Cafe! I regularly make trips there with my wife in addition to eating it at work every other week or so. Highly recommend it to anyone. I was skeptical at first, didnt think Id like it, but boy was I glad to be wrong!

The people who work here always impress me. Ive been here countless times and the staff is friendly, energetic, generous, helpful, and honestly caring. And of course the food is fantastic. The price isnt cheap but its worth it because the quality of the food and customer service is amazing. They also give really generous portions. Im always greeted with smiling faces and I know how exhausting it can be to do that day after day in customer service. Thank you so much, Zao Asian Cafe! Ill be back time and time again because of how you treat your customers. :)

I have been to other Zao locations before. Ive always had some variation of the rice/noodle bowl, and its always been great. I went today and got a noodle bowl, all toppings, with steak. Its great. It could maybe use a little extra sauce, but maybe its just sunk down in the bowl a bit. Its got fresh flavors & bold taste. The worker talked me into getting corn on it (I was skeptical) but its actually a really good flavor addition. Ill for sure be back.

Zao Asian Cafe is bound to be a hit with the anti-Panda crowed. They deliver quality ingredients, just-right portions, and sock-you-in-the-mouth flavors. Like many "new wave" restaurants, Zao has chosen to go with house-blend soft drinks. Though, this location does serve Diet Coke (for my fellow addicts out there). The traditional bowl with teriyaki sauce, rice or noddles, chicken, and stacked veggies is a clear stand-out option. Give it a try.

We were craving something different and veggies and this was just that! We loved all the toppings and sauces! I loved the tacos and got to have different meats. I did the chicken and the chicken/pork meatballs. Both tasted great! We also got the rice/noodle bowls with teriyaki and green curry sauce. We enjoyed those as well. Fresh veggies with great textures. Definitely a new favorite! So going back...and soon! :)

Liked the food. Different. Interesting mix ofAsian and Mexican. I would not get the chips and Guacamole again. Employees were friendly. Atmosphere was clean. We ate on the outdoor patio. It was nice, but noticed the tables and umbrellas were in disrepair. Music was too loud and a bit weird for our liking, but overall a good experience at affordable prices. We will return.

We have a weekly company wide lunch every Wednesday and this is one of my favorite places to order from! The presentation always looks great, the price couldnt be better, and I always get positive feedback from the employees on its taste! AND for every $100 spent you get a free meal card!

food taste was barely OK (its worth if you have a meal free coupon ), But very annoying thing is they can reject their own coupons on your face ! The coupon that they distributed to near offices ! If they dont honor it first step they should not distribute it !

This place is fantastic. Really clean appearance and their steak bowl with brown rice and veggies is AMAZING! This is a perfect place to eat something a little lighter. Fast casual feel to it. Highly recommend it.

Reminds me of Zupas setup. Fewer number of options, but they nail each one. Asian influence is right. Spicy, high quality taste hits the spot, but not trying to be authentic or everything to everyone.

There is not too much variety of food but taste really good and healthy. It is the only place i found they have organic sodas. Really awesome.
