First off-breakfast was good and they had a patio where we could bring our dogs so we are thankful for that. Unfortunately, the hanging shade on the patio is not secured and the wind blew it onto our table and knocked over my sons giant glass of lemonade, which spilled into and on my wifes purse and my shoes. We told the waiter, who was a nice kid, and he said he told his manager. The manager never came out and said anything, which was surprising at best. A simple apology or a fee cup of coffee would have gone miles. As we left the restaurant, I asked to speak to her. I calmly told her about our experience and warned her about the shade for future reference. I can guarantee this has happened before and will happen again. She nicely smiled and said she was sorry that happened, which was close to he bare minimum you would expect in a service business. Give that this was equivalent to a waiter dumping the drink on us, and not caused by anything we did or did no do, I would have thought she would have offered a cup of coffee, a discount the next time we came in, a side of bacon or some small token. It would have taken little to make us feel appreciated as a customer. We live less than a mile away, eat out with our family of 4 a lot and enjoy the food and patio but, unfortunately, have written this place off due to the lack of interest in the manager caring about the experience of the customer. This is the first review I have ever written and I write this review for the owners to read as much as future customers. The person you gave the responsibility for your business has cost you at least 4 customers. Hard to believe your expectations of her are to do the bare minimum.

We have eaten there many many times and the people are so rude food is food. Eggs, bacon, waffle, etc… They try to copy the round house from Nicks for any of you old-timers from the U Mediocre at best. The last and final time was when we ordered food a plate came that was cold and asked to order something different instead of an ok, sorry. The owner/chef guy in the back came out and questioned rudely what was wrong in front of clients and he said he would still charge us, etc.. I am a Lawyer from California native Utahan and I kept my level to observation. There is a lady and this chef who must run the place…… GOOD LUCK customer service is everything, I had taken many clients there and completely stopped. My point to the owners Mr. control freak in the back…… Get a life and learn how to treat people decently because you never know who they may be. I spent thousands and now my business is gone as well as many of my associates……Go to Market Street, Ruths, The Other Place, Always consistent there is a French bistro on main street very good. Sunday brunch Squatters, Redrocks, always great…… Wasatch brewery on 21st excellent…. PC same….

I have been to Millcreek Cafe many times and today me and my partner were so unimpressed that we would consider not going back. The chef was not their best. The scrambled eggs werent even done correctly. I asked for my eggs scrambled with cheese. He scrambled them before cooking them, but then just set them on the stove to fry and then once they were finished, he put the cheese on top. Cooking eggs in this way completely changes the way they taste. These are not the true version of scrambled eggs, they are hard fried eggs with cheese on top instead of mixed in with the eggs. I also noticed some other plates coming out to other customers and it just didnt look appealing. I believe this is the worst chef they have ever had and I hope they go back to the way their cooking was before...excellent. And for goodness sakes, bring back the chicken fried steak! It was the best one me and my family/friends had ever had!

Food was okay. I ordered a chicken fried steak and it was as small as my palm. hash browns & pancake was good. It was all overpriced for the quality of food. Waitress kept walking away and would not give me the chance to ask a complete question. She didnt check on us or take away empty plates. She also took our coffee creamers off our table to pretty much tell us its time leave so they can seat others. Another waitress crashed into my stroller with my 5mon old son & she didnt even look back to see if he was ok or apologize. My husband & I went there to eat & talk and I felt like we were rushed out of there. I wont be going back.

Pretty basic food for the price. Although I actually really enjoyed my meal - had a simple salad - but its pretty hard to go wrong there. But in retrospect I paid $8 to have spinach tossed on a plate with diced red onion, sliced strawberries, and candied walnuts. Looking at others dishes, pretty much seemed like basic diner food: cheap white bread buns, frozen-then-recooked fries, etc. Plus their slogan is "everything goes better with bacon." Not the spot for vegetarians/vegans. Id go back for the salads if they werent so expensive! Staff was very friendly though!

The first and the last time I will dine here. My family came here for breakfast on Monday. The service was very friendly and attentive, but the food came out slow. My father ordered the Millcreek Classic, I got the Veggie Egg white scramble. The Classic was OK, nothing spectacular. The Egg White scramble was greasy and soggy/sopping wet, with a mound of un-melted parmesan cheese sitting on top--thats right, the food was lukewarm. And it was $9.50. Maybe their lunch fare is better, but Im definitely not returning here for breakfast.

This place is good but not exceptional - I would give them 3.5 stars. They are conveniently located close to REI for those who stop by for ski rentals. It wouldnt be my top choice because its just the usual affair with packed jams and pancake syrup that comes in a bottle - not the homemade stuff I go nuts about but cant complain either. Between the four of us we had their breakfast fair with eggs, hashbrowns, sausages; pancake and 2 poached eggs over toast and omlette that came with hashbrowns. Clean, fast and efficient.

Horrible. They have some of the best food in the state no joke. But their service is SUPER bad. Bunch of incompetence surrounding the workplace. High school kids who dont give a f*** about anyone but their next house party. Oblivious. Got seated (and this happened twice) literally sat for like 35-40mins before being helped. The second time same thing happened and i just left at that point. Better EGGWORK restaurants in the valley. Skip these guys.

I paid $14 for a panini sandwich. I changed the choice of cheese and was charged a buck. I added an egg and was charged $3 bucks! The server didnt even bother to tell me my $7.95 sandwich would end up costing $6 bucks more! Super rude and who charges to exchange a cheese. Ill never go back and I will tell people its not worth their time or money. Way better places to eat that are more honest and fair. Plus the food is super greasy!
