Don’t blink as you drive buy, or you might miss it. It’s definitely something that could be easily overlooked when driving by unless you’re looking for it. However, many times large things come in small packages. This place is definitely one of those. You may be wondering how they can fit a wing place in that itty-bitty living space; well, they don’t call it a shak for nothing. They also didn’t put wings in the title for nothing, either. It’s been said before, and I’ll say it again – these are the best wings in Utah County. Some of my favorite wing sauces include Garlic Pepper, Medium, Teriyaki, Pineapple BBQ, Lemon Pepper, and the new Parmesan sauce. And that’s not even half of the sauce options available. They also include Blue Cheese or Ranch with their wings and fry sauce with their fries. Speaking of fries, their fries are pretty good but I am really starting to like their tots. Their tots are perfectly fried – they’re not crispy, burnt, soft, or underdone but just the right amount of crispness. I’m not usually a tots fan, but these really hit the spot. Not only do they have a great taste, but their price is great as well. I’ve compared their prices to several others across Utah County and you just can’t beat their lunch special – 8 wings, fries or tots, and a drink for $8.99. That’s less than $1 a wing, ya’ll! That’s what I’m talking about. This price is unbeatable in Utah County. There’s still many a thing on their menu I haven’t talked about, many a thing I haven’t tried (but I’ve heard from my compatriots that they are great as well), nor have I even scratched the surface on their different wing styles (such as Buffalo, wet, dry, etc) but I can say that this is definitely worth a visit if you’re interested in some good wings and that no one I have taken here has ever regretted it.

I love this place and usually things are great but today... Today was not great. Some friends and I tried to call in an order, it was large I will admit to that, but we were told they cannot take orders over 5 specials because it is their policy, and it was during their busiest part of the day. OK I get that, even though we called it in at 11 and said we didnt need it till 12, you have your policy OK thats fine. So we called in twice with 2 separate orders. We were told with each one that it would be ready in 10 minutes... Whats the difference if it is one order or two? And they indeed had it done when we got there, yet they say orders over 5 need to be placed a day in advance. Upon arriving to collect our food we were asked if we had called in the order as one order earlier. We admitted to it as they again reiterated their policy. I didnt want to fight and simply said "interesting way to approach business". Well this was enough for the owner to come out and have a word with us, spending time to scold us on giving him over $100 that day, when he could have been in the back fulfilling another order. I get that youre a small operation but dont you think as a business owner you should do what you can to get more customers and make more money? Instead we were alienated. If it werent for the many friends waiting on food I would have not paid as left the food there for them to deal with. The owner proceeded to tell us that next time we would have to come in as wait in line... If you want people to do that then dont even offer a call in option. Im not one to argue with someone and make a scene, but I am one to leave this review here for all to see. Great food, horrible customer service.

Adult dude at the counter was so rude I changed my review from 5 to 2 stars. Such a money hungry just mean person. Like their wings are already overpriced but he wouldnt even let us or the people behind us pick two flavors on a 15 piece whereas our first visit they gladly made an exception and let us get two flavors on a 10 piece. Dirtbag old guy will probably fire his good young employees for offering good customer service. Food remains delicious and the latter part of my review stands. But I know why reviews arent a 5 all around, its because of the rude guy working the counter on Saturday at 2pm (probably the owner).... Seriously. Like how do more people not know about this place? Great service, fantastic (and I mean fantastic) wings! The flavors were next level. Got hot garlic pepper and hot Parmesan. Killer, killer, killer. Absolutely will return. Very pricey for the record. But worth its weight in silver (about what you pay).

Today was my first time going to Rocky Mtn. Wingshak. I read the great reviews for this place, it was close to work and I decided to give it a try today, for lunch. I am very glad I did! The place is tiny, in comparison to the familiar Buffalo Wild Wings standby, it seemed a little crowded (they use all the space they have), and the menu is much simpler. After some helpful guidance from the lady at counter (also one of the owners), I ordered the chicken sandwich with hot parmesan sauce, cheese sticks, and a drink. The food came out quickly, and it was incredible. Rocky Mtn Wingshak, gives the feel of a local establishment, doesnt have 50 screens playing womens tennis, curling, Nascar, soccer, simultaneously, and seems less like a bar, hiding its true self in Utah County, and more like a kick ass local wing joint. I will go again and bring some guys from work... gotta try their Pineapple BBQ wings.

I went in to order some wings no one was up front waited he ( the owner) was on the phone and didnt ever get off the phone while I was there. Finally he walked up to the front and stood impatiently, i had never been so I asked what was good he didnt respond then he responded the second time I asked I ordered the medium 10 piece buffalo, he started talking loudly to whoever he was talking to on the phone and then I left flabbergasted, I have never been treated this way, in any establishment I have ever been too. I didnt even get to try the wings, he seemed like he could care less that we would venture try his food, he would rather finish his phone call. Astonishing maybe one day Ill get to try the wings and I will update this review based on the actual taste of the food.

This was about the third time ive visited RMWS and i have to say, all three times i was pretty unimpressed. I was hoping for better each time ive been there. First. The place is extremely small and crowded, cant get to the drinks without saying "excuse me 3 times." Today i had the BBQ Pineapple boneless wings and they have actually made me sick. Im in the bathroom as i write this review. Not sure if the chicken was bad or what, but Ive been burping up the food for the last 7 hours close to throwing up. The chicken looks like they bought a Costco bag sized of chicken and tossed some flavoring on it, im not really impressed with the chicken they use. Very generic and boring. It had a very "great value" taste.
