I rarely if ever review places. Only when Im really disappointed or really happy with. Most of the time places are the way they should be, and I have better things to do then take time to say, it was as it should be. I went thru the KFC drive-thru (baseline & dobson) on a Friday night. There was only one vehicle in front of me, yet it took 7min to get to window. I heard the order placed from the guy in front and his one small bag showed he didnt place a huge order. Then it took another 4 min to get my order which was 1 two pc & 1 three pc meal. One was crispy and one original recipe. After I paid, I saw a sign on the window that said "returns must have receipt plus the original order within 24hr otherwise they will not be honored, See mgr." What the what?? that gave the first red flag yet Id already paid. so I just shrugged and thought, thats strange - who would return fast food after 24hr? When I got home the crispy & sides looked really good (the only reason for two stars). Mine, the original usually delicious order, was nasty. Just to look at I thought, great... wasted money this looks over cooked. Then I remembered the notice posted and if it werent friday night and if it were closer, I would have "returned." Regardless though it was funny (not haha funny) how they didnt bother to give me a receipt - Hmmm (in)convenient - so I was SOL. I did taste and overall it didnt even resemble the original recipe, it was different maybe because they simply didnt mix coating properly and/or it was slightly over cooked. Once I got the skin off, the chicken was actually ok except it still had this after nasty taste. Sooooo disappointed and know this post prob wont matter, but taking time anyway.

I was supposed to start work there yesterday. When I filled out the application the manager told me hed hire me ,but the next orientation was in two weeks. I told him that was except able so long as I have his word that I did indeed have employment. So I paid for clothes , a food handlers card, and took time out of my day on three separate occasions to fill out paperwork. They told me to go to the university and alma school site for orientation. The manager at the Dobson and baseline branch gave me all the paperwork I was supposed to bring. I said do I have to bring all my ids because Im not going home tonight. And Ill leave from my dads house. He said they were photo copied in my paperwork and I didnt need to bring them. When I showed up for orientation at the alma school and university branch the lady there wouldnt let me start because I didnt bring my food handlers card with me. I explained my situation and that I was told by her other manager that I didnthave to bring it and gravity of my situation that I need work and have not looked for other employment because I had this job. She was unresponsive and acted irritated. Told me I have two wait two weeks and that she didnt have time to talk to me and u needed to leave. She was unprofessional. Her manager was the one who photo copied my ids. I could have shown them to her later that day. She didnt care. So now I wont be able to pay my rent next month. And no one cares. I call corporate. No ones got back to me. I will call the labor board if I fell I not righted for their wrongs. If that doesnt work Ill sue. I have a cousin whos a lawyer.

I like KFC, but this location is terrible. The service has never been that great and going through the drive through has always been hit or miss. Maybe you get what you ordered and maybe you dont. The worst part about it is that they genuinely dont seem to care either way. Went in Saturday night and ordered a family meal at 6:35, at 6:45 they begin telling me they are just about to get the order started. At 7:00 they tell me 5 more minutes. At 7:05 I am beyond done! At that point they tell me they still have not even started cooking any chicken strips yet and it will be at least another 10 minutes. This is after watching people come and go with other orders, so who knows what the problem was. They offered no apology and demanded that I stop asking them about the order! I had to demand to get my money back so we could leave. It was crazy. There was only one other table in the entire place, so it wasnt busy. They wouldnt give me a managers name or any phone numbers, told me to look it up myself and that the manager would not allow his or her name to be given out. Do yourself a favor and pass this location up!

So I would call my experience bad. I arrived before four oclock and there was only two workers. Id say I waited for 15 minute to place my order. The guy who seemed to be that manager was trying to do everything and he was hustling. His counter part seemed like she didnt want to be there and I only had one person in front of me. He apologized as she walked off and started doing other tasks. Id would consider the customer service below satisfactory. My chicken was a little greasy at the bottom. Other than that is was warm and edible. Sides were ok. My drink gave me some concerns as I got tea. It smelled like a sewer so I didnt drink it; all I could think was the tea container wasnt proper cleaned and it was a potential reservoir for bacterial contamination in making people sick. The floors were tacky as they were not mopped. While sitting here I also observed what seemed to be an employee bringing a drink from outside placing it on a food prepping table. Again bringing outside contamination, potentially causing cross contamination. I dont think I will be coming back to this location and I am disappointed.

This has been hands down the most pleasant experience Ive ever had at any fast food place. My buddy and I walked in and ordered an 8 piece meal for $8.88. I asked the cashier if he could split the bill and he said ok problem. Unfortunately he accidentally charged my card for the full amount and just said that my buddy owed me $4 and he was extremely sorry. It wasnt a big deal at all since my friend planned on just giving me cash. Not 4 minutes later and the cashier brought our food out to us. Id never seen food prepared and delivered that fast. He then told me that he added some extra chicken pieces and 2 extra biscuits for us. He included 2 free medium drinks too, but didnt mention it. We couldnt even finish our food and the customer service was excellent. I asked for butter and he told me he would bring it out to me in a second. I actually felt bad for asking questions because the guy was just so nice. They even closed the lobby and let us eat inside and didnt pester us or anything. More people need to be like this. Best fast food experience Ive ever had the pleasure of being involved with.

Honor what you advertise! The Kentucky Fried Chicken on 1950 W Baseline Rd Mesa, AZ 85202 clearly and prominently advertises a 10 for 10 chicken meal outside at their store’s location on their drive-through menu. I waited at the drive through at lunch hour for 5-10 minutes to place my 10 for 10 order. The drive through order lady informed me that the 10 for 10 campaign had ended. Really? Not according to your big sign right in front of me that got me to pull into your drive through for that specific order. Not cool, not right. Honor your outside advertising on your order sign. I pointed out that her store advertises this special but she could care less, informed me, oh, we just haven’t gotten around to taking down the signs. When I suggested she honor the advertising, she brushed the idea off as if it was my fault that I dare ask for what’s advertised and gave me a I don’t care “sorry”. With my time wasted and plenty pissed I drove off without placing an order and went to the Golden Gate Chinese restaurant for take-out down the block.
