This place knows how to do cheesesteaks the right way. They use top quality meat, shaved thin and chopped up on the hot grill. They do not skmp on meat either. I usially get thier 12" traditional cheesesteak with a little.grilled onions & provolone cheese. I usually get at least 2 meals from one sub. Born & raised on thr east coast, Im always skeptical & very reluctant to order a cheesesteak when eating out. But Im glad I took a chance here because now I grab one about once a week. My husband loves them too & he is even pickier than I am when it comes to eating a good cheesesteak. Also, they have these "sauces" you can add yourself. I happen to like the jalapeno one. It gives the sub just the right amount of kick. The employees are always friendly & eager to make a customer happy. Theyre always willing to work with me with customized requests. If you like cheesesteaks subs, you wont be disappointed!

Located in a typically very busy restaurant area, these cheesesteaks are definitely worth the wait. The inside decor offers photos from Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, including photos of Genos and Pats. The interior is a more modern setting and the grill is open for the public to look at. The cheesesteaks are definitely unbelievable -- the best in Utah County. This Whiz Steak (steak, onions, cheese whiz) was great till the last bite. The buns are incredible -- soft with sesame seeds. The meat is very tender and perfectly cooked -- not overdone, not underdone, but just perfect. The cheese whiz speaks for itself; combine it, though, with the onions, tender steak, soft bun, and sesame seeds and you have a winning combination thats tough to beat. The whiz steak is rather runny which makes the sandwich very moist. Shoulda had the 12".

I originally came from the DP Cheesesteaks in Riverton. I do feel loyalty to that store, but while working in American Fork I found there was another DP and decided to stop by and test out the waters. I gave the store five stars, if you look at my reviews, I dont do that a lot. This store was that good. My only complaint is that Im used to having some good garlic on my garlic cheesesteak and here.. It just didnt have that kind of kick Im used to. Of course, Ive only been here twice, so I may have come during a bad week. Im looking forward to checking it out again.

DP Cheesesteaks has been awesome ever since they opened. Today I happened to ask for advice on which sauce would go best with my sandwich and found out I had the owner answering my questions. He gave me a brief history of his company and now I like DP even more. He was incredibly humble and passionate about his business and the quality they serve. Im all about supporting local and these guys make that easy to do. These are good people and their food is a direct reflection of their attitude. If you havent tried them yet you have definitely been missing out!

My only experience with Philadelphia was passing through the airport. However, by going to DP, I feel an unbreakable bond to the citys fine cuisine. The sandwiches arent the cheapest, but if youre in the mood for a cheesesteak, you wont be disappointed. Getting the large of any sandwich will easily fill you with excellent bits of grilled and perfectly seasoned meat along with delicious peppers and onions. If youve never tried a cheesesteak with Cheese Whiz rather than provolone, try it here.

Where to get the best cheesesteak is some kind of holy war. You got your Moochites, those Italian Place cultists, and the church of the DP. I am a DP man all the way and drive right past those other joints to get here. My fav: Traditional provolone with onions and garlic sauce. Are you kidding me?! Who invented this awesome thing? Switching cheesesteak churches can be hard. Try a few options to see what tickles your tastebuds. Maybe youll become a convert as well.

Love the sandwich, didnt appreciate the staff who seemed to have some sort of inside joke going on all the way through my visit. It takes quite a bit to irritate me, but the gentleman taking my order managed to do so with ease. Every chance he got he sniggered at something he found funny about me, without the curtesy of waiting till I was gone. Super annoying, felt like I was in the mean girls movie in some high school drama.

So delicious! Great staff that has always been friendly. Comfortable dining room, very clean... even the bathroom always smells like peaches. I dont go to restaurants based on their bathrooms, but its a plus and it reflects well on the cleanliness of the entire place. Lots of good menu options. Generous with the meat, and none of their competition has better quality or better tasting cheesesteaks.

As a native of the Maryland area, I miss genuine Philly Cheesesteaks. I mean the soft yet chewy bread, loaded with meat, onion, mushroom and peppers covered in melty provolone cheese. This place nailed it! They even have Herrs chips imported from PA and Pennsylvania Dutch birch beer on the fountain. If you are a native of Utah, you have to try this. You havent had a real cheesesteak until you do!

Best Cheesesteak west of the Mississippi! Ive had a number of their cheesesteaks including the hot pepper, cherry, and blue cheese, and they have all been amazing. If youre a fan of root beer it would be worth going just to get the birch beer. DP makes an authentic Philly cheesesteak and I love they they went over the top to import the extras you can only find on the east coast.

I have been going for 5 years now. BY FAR the best Cheesesteaks in Utah. In the American Fork Store I had an order that was not correct and the manager quickly made right on the situation by giving me a refund and a free sandwich the next time I went in. I was not expecting that but goes to show you what type of establishment they run there. Fantastic!!

Went here for Lunch with a co-worker (Provo location). This place has the best steak & cheese sandwiches Ive had in Utah... Theyre close to the "Grinders" found in Pizza shops all over New England (and those are the best Ive ever had). Delicious steak and cheese. I had the basic sandwich. My co-worker highly recommends the one with cream cheese.

The grub is pretty grub. I never knew there were so many different versions of cheesesteaks. (I would recommend avoiding the Cheese Whiz sandwiches, though, unless youd like your corpse to be well preserved after your heart attack.) The prices arent bad, especially considering that you have to donate an organ at a lot of places these days.

Ive been three times and found them a bit dry and too much bread. If I want a great cheesesteak I go to Moochies, or, brace yourselves, go to Vitos in Bountiful. Hes only open from 11-2. He owns anyone else in the state, even Moochies. Its unbeleivably good. Unfortunately I cant get to Bountiful during that time more than twice a year.

Such a great place, we love it. We have eaten at 4 of their locations, in East-Lehi (Highland), Sandy, AF, & Provo. I just wish they would open one up in Layton or closer to my home! We have almost had their entire menu, but my 2 favorites are the garlic-cheese steak (adding cream cheese) & blue-cheese steak. Those 2 are the best!
