I called before going to do call ahead seating and was told there was not a wait. We arrive 15 minutes later and are told it will be 15 or 20 minutes before we could be seated. Then once seated we were told our server would be with us shortly. Almost 10 min later the table next to us is seated and we still havent seen our server or had our drink order taken much less our meal order taken. The table that was seated after us had the drink order taken and was placing the meal order when my wife and I got up and left. The employees saw us get up and leave. No one asked us what the problem was or if everything was ok, they just watched us walk out. We then went next to Applebees and had a much better experience.

Olive Garden has been a long-time favorite of mine and the one in Tyler, TX was no exception. Until my last visit on 5/17/2016. I ordered the chicken marsala with zuppa toscana, my all time favorite. The soup was runny with spots of olive oil floating around in it. The chicken portion was smaller than usual and the potatoes were diced really small and were flavorless. The cook didnt provide enough sauce. I dont know if theyre trying to cut costs or if the cook just sucked but I wont be back. The only reason I gave this restaurant 2 stars was because the waitress was gracious and removed the meal from my bill.

I love Olive Garden. However, the last few times I have been to the Tyler one have been bad experiences. Tonight takes the cake. We did go during rush hour, but I felt really rushed. The waitress took my plate that I was still eating on. I had my fork in my hand!!! And she just swooped my plate and rushed off. I couldnt even stop her. Then was charged $6 above the menu price. I pointed it out to her and she dropped it 3 dollars. I always leave a tip, but tonight the customer service, as the last few times have been, was horrible. Will not be returning to the Tyler restaurant.

There is a server there by the name of Cody T. that I had recently, another waiter said his last name was Timmons I think. He was so rude to us, he was on his cell phone constantly and then we heard him referring to us as "Canadians" which we later found out is a derogatory comment about black people. He was arguing with another older man who was apparently his boyfriend and it just made us feel uncomfortable... This was a horrible experience overall and he should be removed from the staff.

I ate here around noon today with my mom and kids. It was extremely busy but we didnt have to wait for a table. Our waitress was excellent and the food was great! The soup, salad and breadsticks were awesome as usual. The only complaint I have is that the zuppa toscana didnt have much kale in it and our fettuccine alfredo was a little bland without much sauce. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience!

Worse experience we have ever had at this Olive Garden! Waiter took care of refill salads and drinks all around us and didnt even acknowledge us, had another waitress get our drink order. After 10 minutes finally came to our table to take our order, had to ask twice for the beer my husband ordered. Not friendly or helpful with the menu, worse service we have ever had here!!!!!!!!!!

For school groups, the management is rather rude even though I only had a small group of very well behaved students and adults. They only accept credit cards, no purchase orders or school checks. It has taken me several attempts to get the group menu faxed to me. I have used them the past 3 years for my school groups, but apparently their new management doesnt want our patronage.

Loved wine sample and hand-grated cheese. Hated small booths (take a table if you weigh over 250). Prices were a little high, but the quality of the food made up for it (breadsticks, soup/salad, and entree for about $10-15). Drinks were okay, not your typical Margarita (but good fruity flavor). Pay extra for the marinara sauce ($2.95), cause the free stuff sucked and was small.

Bad experience on 3/12/17. Took way too long to get a server to help. Finally a guy who was not our server took the drink order. 5+ min later got drinks from actual server then never did see her again. We left... While sitting and waiting we noticed the people around us were getting sub-par help as well. Giving a 3-Star ONLY because of previously good service.

The service was excellent. As was the food. I had angel hair pasta with an asiaga cheese, garlic and Alfredo sauce with grilled chicken. Wonderful! My spouse had the make your own tour of Italy with shrimp scampi, angel hair pasta, Fettuccini Alfredo and tortelloni al forno. He said it was great. I have a new favorite meal!

This Olive Garden is very hit and miss. Some times you get a great server and other times you get are lucky if you even see a server. The food can also vary greatly. Either the food is what you expect from a large Italian chain or is cold, flavorless or nauseating. There normally is a wait to be seated at dinnertime.

A friend of mine took me here for lunch it was good breadsticks were warm kinda expensive for what you get but they seem to like it Im not a pasta person and usually if I do eat it its homemade so Im not really sure they probably get a higher score from somebody else because it was a clean place and theyre really nice

Under staffed when we arrived at 4:00. Numerous empty tables and 7 partys about 20 people waiting. Viable trash in the parking lot and by the entrance. The staff at the door and our waiter Josh went above and beyond on both their friendly engaging personalities and effert to make up for staff shortage.

Very quickly greeted at the door by friendly staff. We didnt wait long before being sat in a super clean restaurant by a very friendly and helpful waiter. The food was cooked perfectly and brought to us promptly. What else can I say? This is how a restaurant should handle business.

Besides the salad I would not bother eating here. The food is of the highly homogenized variety and as such it has little flavor. Service is good though. Value for your dollar is not bad, but the lack of flavor just isnt worth it. Try Marios instead.

Stink Cheese Aroma. Other than the smell of stinky cheese, the service was excellent. We were taken care of and the food was spot on. Highly recommended for Italian dining in Tyler for those looking for good ambiance.

John was a great server. There was an issue with one of the kids meals ... it came out with the wrong sauce so they quickly corrected it and ended up not charging us for it. The rest of the meal was fabulous.
