I drove past this place on my way to do a quote in tomball. The quote was after five so I had my wife and son with me. On the way home we drove past again and decided to stop and eat dinner. As soon as we walked in the energy of the place was good ol texas, great music and smiling friendly faces. I noticed the two guys taking our order had looked alot alike... later realizing they were father son. The brisket was juicy and had good fat that most bbq places dont have nowadays. The fried okra was just how my mom used to make it. And by far the BEST bbq sauce there is around woodlands/tomball area. I will definitely be back to bring my family.

The best potatoes, ribs and chopped beef Ive ever had. The chopped beef potatoes are so good its even good left overs. The potatoes are so big half is enough for one person. The sauce they use is the best Ive ever had and Im pretty picky. If you are picky about dining areas or bathrooms then get it to go, but I like how they are not crowded unlike Rudys, and their food is better than Rudys. Tried calling ahead one day but went to voice mail. Not usually a line though and they are fast.

Hello everybody! We are under NEW MANAGEMENT! If you did not have a pleasant experience on your last trip to old tomball bbq, we would like for you to give us another try. My family and I took over this establishment back in April 2014, weve been in the bbq business for 30+ years. I do recommend our pork spare ribs and our very own homemade bbq sauce. Come on by for some REAL Texas bbq!

This place is a hidden house if flavor!! Its a family owned joint and they really put love and pride into everything. I drove 30 minutes to get here and i cant wait to do it again. Unlike most BBQ places now that use ovens or electric cooking of sort, this place is real Texas BBQ and they use REAL WOOD ONLY! Do yourself a favor and get here.

Went to this place and got some of the worst bbq Ive ever had. The sausage was so loose it was almost liquid. The chicken had been sitting so long it was solid as a rock and the brisket was stringy and tasted spoiled. I wouldnt go there if it was the only restaurant in town.

The Tombal combo was perfect. The chicken was incredibly moist and the rib was huge and smoked perfectly. My wife loved the potato and the kids chicken finger was super yummy. I cant wait to bring my family and friends from out of town here.

I did the ribs, sausage, chicken combo with beans and green beans. All of it was great. Ribs fell right off the bone and not too fatty. Good sweet tea!
