I had the best BBQ chicken Ive ever had in my whole life here yesterday. I usually get the smoked sausage sandwich but decided to change it up and get the chicken dinner and WOW! It was incredible! O highly recommend it. Like most BBQ joints, the sides offered here are bland. The beans have no zing, the coleslaw and potato salad will offend no one with any excess flavors. The main attraction is the meat offerings. One exception is the french fries, they are excellent. Ive also had the cheeseburgers and theyre ok if youre not feeling like a BBQ meal. There are two sauces offered, hot and mild. Ive never tried the mild but the hot isnt too bad. I dont think its really very hot but that could just be me. They offer a large variety of drinks here, an excellent selection of soft drinks, lemonade and teas. They also have a bread pudding style dessert that is very original, Ive never had anything like it. The restaurant and grounds are always kept in top shape, very clean and tidy. They sell a variety of t shirts with BBQ themed puns that are kind of funny.

By far the best barbecue in the Omaha area. Real wood smoke. Real homemade sauces. Excellent prices. Personally, I cannot quite peg the style of cue- there are aspects of Texas and South Carolina in there, but the selection is such that most any real meat lover will be in heaven. Skip the individual orders- you cant finish them solo. Spend the bucks and get one of the meal deals, which easily feed a family of five and wont run you broke. Not, dress casual and wear stuff you arent afraid to get covered in sauce stains. This is real BBQ for real people. You may want to call ahead and see what all is available, as sometimes, various items are not available. This is a good thing as they will NOT sell half-assed BBQ. I would rather be honestly told that an item is temporarily out as the smoker couldnt keep up, than be served some half cooked slabs like a certain national chain BBQ does.

Im from south Carolina near the north Carolina border and I live bar b que. This is just like the kind at home. First off, the bar b que. I love all the kind you can get. Chicken, pork, Ect. I moved here from the south up here because my dad is in the air force. And I finally have a great restaurant just like at home. The sides. My personal favorite are the fries. You can tell they are hand cut and they are so potatoie. All their other sides are also amazing. Sweet tea. You cannot find any sweet tea anywhere really in Nebraska unless you go to Texas roadhouse. It tastes just like the stuff back home. Overall. This place is amazing. I would eat here every day.

I do not understand how this place had gotten such a high rating, or why everyone talks so much about it. The ribs we had were dry and flavorless and didnt appear to have been slow cooked like proper BBQ at all. Their only saving grace was their sauce, which was required to make the ribs edible. To their credit, the corn bread was fine and the apple crisp was pretty damn good. The building is basically just a school cafeteria type of setting, pretty common for BBQ joints so no complaints there really but it still could be better. No complaints on the service either, but then its not hard to take an order and grab pre-wrapped food off a warming tray.

Very good BBQ. I saw it listed in The Best BBQ Joints in Each State and wanted to give it a try. The temperature the day I visited was nearly unbearable for this fast boy from Alaska and their air-con was on the fritz so I didnt feel that I would have been male to stomach a full rack with all the trimmings. I went for a brisket sandwich with beans and corn. I was happy with my choice and really enjoyed it. It didnt blow my socks off and I think theyd really benefit from partnering with a bakery that would make them some buns that would complement their brisket instead of just the bog-standard sesame seeds type.

Ate lunch there today. Had the All in the Pool sandwich, 2 sides of cornbread, side of brisket chili and a glass of ice tea. I dont eat BBQ often but for around $10 the quality of the food was quite good - filled me up - I usually end up leaving restaurants somewhat hungry after lunch so this was a nice surprise. I am not affiliated or know any of those that run the place BTW. As far as "bang for the buck" and good quality food, this place is recommended and is now one of my new favorites.

Lucky to get me to move from Poor to Fair...ditch the Apple wood and move to Pecan or something...not enough smoke flavor, and too sweet...beans were mush, and ONLY ONE KIND (with Apples in it)...tasted like they came out of a can...very disappointed after seeing other reviews...sad that some think THIS is the best Omaha can...guess I have been spoiled on JOES REAL BBQ in Gilbert, AZ (this place was not even close)

We have dined there a few times in the past and have even had catering and overall it was pretty good.. however tonight might have been our last time there. Food was cold best side was the fries which is sad. When we brought it to their attention it was like it didnt even matter. Only giving them three stars for past experiences and tonight was a one star!

Best BBQ place in Bellevue. Dishes include pulled pork sandwiches, brisket, and ribs to name a few. Good sweet tea. Ordering consists of marking in a piece of paper with you name and getting in line. Hopefully you got a table already. Its better to get the early for lunch as it tends to fill up quickly. Highly recommend.

Was just in K.C. and had a bunch of BBQ. The brisket here was as good if not better than the best I had in K.C. It was tender and had great flavor. Good smoked brisket shouldnt need sauce and this was so good I didnt even try their sauces. Coleslaw was average and the apple crisp was a good sweet side option.

Best barbeque in Nebraska from a self- proclaimed enthusiast. On Fridays they have burnt ends, but they run out early most of the time. Sweet tea is super sweet, but you can cut it with some unsweet if youre a midwesterner. Love the daily featured side dishes, especially the caramel apple crisp.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. Great service, great food, and great people. The burnt ends are amazing, and (they only have them on Fridays usually and in limited quantities) worth waiting for. The ribs are fall off the bone delicious. All in all you cant go wrong here.

Not bad / not great, Ive had Really good sauce in Wisconsin (of all places) and great BBQ at the Shed in Mississippi. And this place while it will get the job done misses the bullseye of great to good BBQ. Sorry but I wont pull my punches. On the plus side the coleslaw isnt bad.
