OK so I do have a bit of a disclaimer. This review is solely for the cinnamon rolls because thats all Ive had at The Nook Restaurant. That being said, the cinnamon rolls alone deserve all five stars and more! Ive heard their breakfasts are very good and hope to find out for myself soon; however, the cinnamon rolls alone are worth the trip! First of all, Im not sure if they should be simply called a roll because their size is closer to that of a cake, LOL. You could tell our cinnamon rolls were definitely made that morning. The best thing is that they were absolutely loaded with cinnamon! They must glaze them when the rolls are hot, because they didnt appear to have a lot of icing, but when we took a bite we could tell it was loaded with sugary goodness! I love a good cinnamon roll and will travel far and wide to find one. Now that Ive visited The Nook Restaurant, Ive narrowed down my travels to one destination when I need a cinnamon fix.

I am very surprised the place gets good ratings, its cramped, portions are small, the food appearance is something you might throw together at home if in a hurry. When I went to pay you can see into the kitchen, they handle food with bare hands, literally reach into soups or meats in au juice and push it around like playing with clay. The kitchen staff give a very bad impression, facial hair, tattoo all over. Cross contamination is a big issue. The coffee could be any weaker without calling it just hot water. I would not reccomend. While I can see that they do get regulars I imagine its because they get credit because penny for penny you would do better with a McDonalds big platter breakfast.

I have been living in Tomball for years and have always wanted to check this place out. I met my mom for breakfast this morning and we both agreed that the food was excellent, as well as the customer service. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs, hash brown and a biscuit. Same as I would at Dennys and I cant truly compare the meals because Dennys doesnt come close to the quality they had here. The biscuits alone were outstanding! Its a very small place, but we were seated within 2 minutes, and although it was busy, it was not loud and there were no delays in service. Im sad I havent tried this place sooner, but excited to go again! 5 Stars all the way.

Solid breakfast. Other standard fare looked good, but breakfast time it was. Wasnt even close to shocked by a beard and some tattoos in the kitchen. The girl w green hair was snarky, which I like, and if she reads this I want her to know that after I put the giant coffee she gave me in a cup with a lid in my car, something in the cup holder punctured it and it leaked all over my pants. You win girl w green hair!

I went today with my 78 yr old client and her husband . I asked for straws and the waiter with the short boy hair and tattoos was so rude . The food was not so great . I felt segregation their and they gave me less food than my client cause of the color of my skin . We had orderd same salad less salad on my plate . Dirty restrooms , poor Customer service. Wont ever come back ever!! Prejudice !!!

Love this place Im from a small town in Texas and after coming to Houston just couldnt find that home cooked meal and down home people then just one day after my VA appointment though I should give this place a try and man am I glad I did this will be a new stop after every VA appointment great food great service and more just everything that places now days are missing

Clean diner... Quality food. Fresh coffee every time...can get to go cups !!! VERY, courteous and friendly staff... Prices and portions are fair.. If you like diners its worth going here.... Never any problems... Clean restrooms. If theres a waiting line it usually goes fast...

I have always enjoyed coming here, everyone that works at the nook seems like extended family because they know me/my family and what we like. The food is much like a home cooked meal and is always delicious. If there is ever a wait ito worth waiting for.

Found on Google maps because of rating we went and found it as awesome as it was rated. It is a small place but food fantastic. We had biscuits and gravy with huge plate full a big bowl of fruit and monster cinnamon roll we had to take home!!!!

Im a regular there and not only do they have great costumer service, the are good people. They always know what Im gunna order and they take the time to joke with me. Honestly my favorite place to get breakfast

My first time and I enjoyed it. Had the pumpkin pancakes without the extras they put on and they were quite good. Great, friendly service. They know the regulars by name. Will be back again Im sure.
