I ordered a lunch to go Tuesday, July 2, 2014. The food was good I ate the whole thingy for dinner that night, after I zapped it in the microwave, (3 Enchilada Dinner) However the next morning I did not feel very good. The salmonella or something creped up on me and that afternoon I was on the POT most of the day. I think they should have better food handling, or maybe the meat, chicken or cheese was bad and should have been discarded instead of serving it to paid customers. I am just glad I did not get food poisoning at my age 76 and have to have gone to the hospital, to get my stomach pumped. I know how any food needs to be reheated to a certain degree, but if you ask me it was spoiled food to begin with. I will never return to La Fiesta again, the owner needs to inspect his kitchen & his cooks method of cooking instead of standing by the cash register and calling the kitchen for new orders. First of all I always wash my hands before I start cooking or after a bathroom visit. I cook at home a lot & I always make sure the food is not spoiled, it is cooked or heated to the degree it is meant to be cooked at, it is cooked in a clean unused pot or pan that has not been used for something else. If any other patrons have gotten sick, please reply. No wonder Gordon Ramsey inspects OWNERS freezers & kitchens before he tells them WHATS WRONG WITH THEIR RESTAURANTS.

After seeing that the restaurant had 4.5 stars I decided to give it a try rather go to Ninfas. In retrospect i would have done better going there. The frozen top shelf frozen margarita wasnt bad, but lacked depth, profundity and intrigue and when it came time for a refill, I settled on the house frozen margarita. The chips...(bangs head on table)...tasted as though Sysco delivered them a month ago. The salsa was watery and lack bite and imagination. I ordered the chicken enchiladas because another reviewer raved about them. The evidence is this: the shredded chicken was a perfect shred. The flavor, what flavor? The enchiladas were covered in nacho cheese sauce then tossed under a grill. The accompanying sauce lacked flavor and certainly didnt tease any taste buds. The rice was unsalted, and the refried beans might as well have come out of a can. If you are searching for a quick neighborhood TexMex fest, look elsewhere. This restaurant is unremarkable. The food and interior lack character and personality. I do not plan on returning.

I make it a must to bring my family to La Fiesta. The atmosphere is very family oriented. The staff takes an interest and pays attention to detail to ensure our visit is as good or better that the last time we were there. I have brought family from out of town to dine and experience the great food and atmosphere. I brought my daughter there on her birthday and the staff assisted in making it a memorable experience. She wore a Sombrero and they all sang Happy birthday to her. She to this day still talks about it. My wife just loves the Shimp Enchiladas. The kids love the non-alcholic drinks with whipped cream and a cherry on top.The staff goes out of the way to please. The manger always talks to us to ensure everything was as we liked. This resturant has great food for a very affordable price.

Ive been going to La Fiesta since I was in high school, before they moved across the street to this location. Its pretty much your standard Tex-Mex, and doesnt stray too far from the norm on the menu. They moved a few years ago to the current location and its definitely an improvement from the past. Its very clean, well kept which is a nice change from other tex-mex restaurants you might find in Houston. Definitely a good place to bring the family if youre craving tex-mex!

La Fiesta is one of the few remaining true Tex-Mex restaurants still around. Between the lunch specials and the combo plates it hits all the notes that a Tex-Mex join should. The staff is friendly and attentive . The only real downside is the parking at lunch which, frankly, sucks. If you dont care about circling like a vulture, and the effort is worth it, then you really should drop by and taste the sort of food that made Tex-Mex famous.

Came here with a party of 30 people and was extremely impressed with their efficiency. Wait staff took our orders, grouped our checks even when people in the same check werent sitting together and our food came out exactly how we ordered it. Being Mexican myself, I tend to be overly critical of Mexican food. But their Tex-Mex food is delicious. I ordered the tacos al carbon. Very good.

Delicious food. Super fast and attentive service. We are from San Antonio, where there are pretty competitive Tex-Mex restaurants, La Fiesta ranks pretty high even among them. Fajitas were juicy and tender, shredded chicken enchiladas were tasty, our kids gobbled up the cheese quesadilla, and the salsas was medium spicy and chunky!! Will return to again when passing through Houston

One of our favorites! We eat here occasionally and often get food to go. My husband swears by the enchilades verdes. I get the Chefs Special and eat the huge chalupa for dinner and save the rest, flauta, taco al carbon, rice, and beans for lunch the next day. La Fiesta has good Tex-Mex and wonderful service. Weve taken others there as well and they have enjoyed it.

We have gone to La Fiesta a handful of times and every visit has been great. The waitstaff is always courteous, the service is quick, and the food is excellent. The Spinach Enchiladas are particularly yummy, and the margaritas are pretty good as well. La Fiesta offers a large variety of dishes at a very affordable price compared to many restaurants in the area.

My husband and I have been looking for a good Tex-Mex place for a while. La Fiesta was perfect! Everything was fresh and delicious. I got the chile relleno (stuffed with cheese) and my husband got the chimichanga. Both were outstanding. The restaurant is very bright and clean. If youre looking for good Tex-Mex, you wont be dissapointed.

Everything is great about this place. Good tex-mex. Cheap prices. I enjoyed my margarita and my enchalada trio. The food is hot and fast. Theres always a employee nearby to help you. They even have my favorite candy for sale at the register. Parking can be difficult though if you arrive during lunch or dinner.

Great service and good Tex Mex. Nothing super fancy but the food is enjoyable and what it is supposed to be Tex Mex. Fajitas were tender and tasty, enchiladas were well made and good portion sizes. Food is served quickly and the prices are reasonable.

Meant my co-worker here. Had too many margaritas so I rode with my co-worker. When I return three hours later to get my car they towed it. Ill never eat here or suggest it again. It was parked in the back. Not hurting anyone
