I live around the corner from this place and it always looks very busy, but it is a very sketchy place so we never EVER had the urge to pop in. By sketchy i mean it is an old Churchs chicken, zero parking, seedy people, and on top of everything there is a drive thru. But we have found many gems in our neighborhood including Cafe Pita Plus and Pho One, so maybe we were being judgy?.... Next thing you know my friends from "inside the loop" are making the trip to this shack. How bad could it be if so-and- so likes it. Checks yelp, "babe the reviews are pretty good, lets try it out!". After some coaxing, and a hankering for crawfish + not wanting to drive very far, we relented and tried it out yesterday. WORST. IDEA. EVER. Im writing this in between bouts of projectile vomit, everyone in our party is EXTREMELY ill today. The first person to experience something was my boyfriend, starting around 2 hours after the crawfish yesterday, it is coming out of both ends for him. I thought maybe he got a bad one, until my friends texted saying they slept in the bathroom, and my illness started around 5 AM. Fever, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, metallic taste in mouth, sore extremities- the whole 9 yards. Everyone has had to call off of work today. We had 5 pounds of 88 special flavor boiled crawfish, between the group. It is NOT your regular cajun crawfish. Extremely oily and heavy on the garlic. I have been eating crawdads my whole life and I have never tasted anything like it. That is not to say we did not enjoy it- it was pretty tasty, actually, going down. Just very oily.... like a marinade instead of a boil. If you are looking for a good-ol-cajun-boy style crawfish- keep it moving! If you are interested in having a stressful time parking; waiting upwards of an hour for a seat/order to be taken/to get a foot in the restaurant/and get your food; feel like you are eating at my asian grandmothers public housing in downtown LA; and be extremely ill- then you should definitely check this place out.

Best boiled seafood...hands down! A friend and I did a "crawfish crawl" that spanned two crawfish seasons, typically Feb - Aug. Weve been to Missouri City, Crosby, Chinatown, Pearland and over thirty places in the city! This was by far the best! To be fair, we only measured the basics: cost/lb and flavor. Some of the owners didnt give their crawfish shacks (term of endearment) a 5-star makeover. Why would they? And, those that did certainly had higher prices! Early or late in the season will find you at around $7.99/lb and weve had it as cheap as $6.99/lb. Our standard order of about 10lbs of crawfish, 3lbs of snow and drinks crab usually sets us back about $130 or so. But, its the flavor that sets this place apart! A combination of Lao, Viet andThai makes for a spicy, savory sauce/gravy that most people pour over a bed of fried rice (after theyve eaten their boiled stuff). They also offer the customary fried seafood, wings and such, and theres a pretty decent beer selection, but take a pass on the fried...just have boiled and beer...you wont regret it!

Not once but TWICE these people have charged my account for a tip I DID NOT GIVE..the first time a $10.00 tip ...then a small $2.00 on(5/25/16)..first time it was the young lady with the blonde hair who clearly doesnt like helping black people..then the older cashier who smiles & waits for u 2 tip on a 2 go order...this is stealing/billing fraud..the manager tried 2 explain it was an accident but IF I WRITE OUT ZERO on the tip line how is that an accident..no apology no free food oh but best believe you giving me back my money sir..,the food is good but I will now take my business 2 LOTUS...I live literally 3 blocks from boiling and is a quick stop before going 2 work at night BUT not anymore...THIEVES ....watch you receipts or BETTER YET USE CASH cause if you not on a budget like me or watch your transactions they will get you if you dont tip yourself

They serve some of the best crawfish/crab boils Ive had in Houston. Their spiciness levels are no joke, so dont order the Hot unless you can handle that level of heat; mild will already be spicy enough for many. Their garlic spice will ensure that your breath and your hands will smell of garlic for at least another half a day so garlic lovers will be satisfied. They have a very friendly and up-front staff who will always try to help you order what you would like. I came here with my family to get some crawfish and snow crab legs and they came piping hot. We arrived just minutes before the kitchen were about to close, but they welcomed us nonetheless and they never rushed us even though it took us a while to finish well after their closing time. Great staff that compliments their great food!

WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! NO SERVICE AT ALL! I went with friends and we ordered EIGHT pounds of food. We used to be loyal customers and would be there once a while. But last night even before we finished our food, the owner, the OLD UGLY FILTHY MAN, urged us to leave AS SOON AS POSSIBLE since we occupied the table for other people waiting! It was the most ridiculous thing I have ever met! WE WERE THERE FOR ONLY LESS THAN 2 HOURS AND WE WERE STILL EATING! We told them we are okey to share the table or move to a smaller table but was REJECTED! The man was yelling at us in front of all customers! WE WERE PUSHED OUT OF THE RESTAURANT FOR NO REASON! Im seriously considering suing them!

Crawfish ok...fried seafood not seasoned well. Busy location under staffed. Between my friends and I we spent well over $100. No utensils to crack open the crabs. The waitress bought over a pair of scissors. I ordered a corn on the cob with my order and so did my friend. My corn was missing so i told the male employee about it. This man turned out to be the owner Kelvin. He argued with the waitress about the corn. He was making sure that I wasnt lying about the corn before he gave it to me! Also the restrooms are in a horrible location we didnt use them .Went next door to McDonalds. That was my first and last time ever visiting there.

The crawfish is indeed amazing. However, they put the potatoes etc in the bag and then shake it up, resulting in the potatoes being mush...Id say serve them separately. Moreover, I thought it was annoying to have a local radio station (with commercials) AND the TV going at the same time. We asked if the TV could be muted and nobody on the staff knew how. Additionally, one would think this place could afford to play music through a commercial app, like Pandora to avoid the commercials. Lastly, the wall next to our table was caked with Crawfish splatter, wipe the walls please.

See the food is literally to die for ! Ive been here literally more than 30 times. Not sure why I havent review yet ! BEST CRAWFISH IN HOUSTON AND PERIOD. Ive even been to NEW ORLENS AND THEY CANNOT COMPARE WITH THIS PLACE. Customer service is .... mediocre ... the place is clean enough to trust ( bathrooms arent good at all! Hold your pee) BUT THE FOOD IS WHAT MATTERS! Even the fried rice is AMAZING! Honestly everyone who Ive introduced to here has fallen in love especially moms whos a pescatarian. This is definitely worth a try !!!!!! Seriously great
