I hope to provide an honest and helpful review for those who want to know more about the place. As you walk pass the main entrance, you will witness a very wooden-forest like theme. The walls, the chairs, and tables all have textures and shades that resemble wood, with a dark green leaf-like color covering other parts of the building. The noise levels are fairly quiet from Mon-Friday (Except during Lunch/Dinner Hours!), with Sat/Sunday being a bit noisy due to the vast amount of customers that could come in. Now, the food here is quite interesting. Theres a lot of Americanized Chinese foods here, like deep fried foods, cheesy foods, and depending on what kind of food you like, you could either have a blast or leave feeling kinda down. The difference between dinner and lunch is that dinner is packed with new Seafood, from crawfish to crabs that many say are as good as restaurant quality. For the freshest foods, Id recommend coming during Lunch/Dinner hours because thats when the foods will be rotating the fastest (Could Be Busy!). Ok, lets talk variety! This place has a little bit of everything, from Chinese to American to Japanese, and multiple other strange dishes too. The sushi bar actually consists of many different kinds of sushi, as well as salmon and sashimi. They offer a few things your kids may like also, like Pizza, Fries, and Chicken Wings. Lastly, they have many different toppings and puddings for you to customize your own dessert! Finally, we shall discuss the price and service of this location. I think their prices are pretty average for a buffet, unless youre getting a togo box which is $4.99/$5.99 per pound. Their service is also pretty clean, and I havent run into any problems with them yet. In conclusion, I believe this buffet has good potential and depending on the time or day you go, it could be a hit or miss. Recommendations: Try their Coffee Cake, its soft and tastes like coffee with cream! - Signed NK (March 2017)

Normally really good, went last week and found a cooked bug in the mushrooms. A pretty descent sized one at that. I showed management figure things like this happen so i did not make a scene. From a business stand point, Its part of my business ethics. I figured ill write a review, call health inspectors and go back when they get their establishment cleaned and bug free though I believe its origin is the food thats shipped here not the actual establishment. I did get a whole new plate and things tasted pretty funny. Maybe it was my conscience saying yuck you just found a fried bug in your food and you really are going to try this crap again? Long story short I couldnt get nothing down because of that experience. My hubby and I paid for our food, tip the waiter and left. Sad because this was one of my all time favorite restaurants. I expected my first review to be a good one. Gave three stars instead of one because they are always friendly even though I could care less about their ancient secret to make food taste better ha ha. I laugh but seriously get those bugs out of the food and check dates to be sure your cream cheese doesnt taste like spoiled milk. I know times are hard but you cant replace bugs with mushrooms lmao. Okay, I couldnt resist. It was such a big bug please make sure the cook wears glasses. Beetles/Cockroach are common mushroom bandits.......They also carry diseases uh hmm....it was cooked so hopefully my first few mushrooms were safe. After all bugs are a delicacy in other countries. Good thing this is America and bugs havent made the menu.....wait.....the public menu and Cockroach will never. Since i gave 3 stars, didnt cause a scene and still will try this facility after I turn them in, I figured I have a right to get my jokes in

I went to the emergency facility after eating dinner here on Sat. 1/23, anyone else? I woke up in the middle of the night vomiting non-stop until finally in the morning I went to the emergency facility. I could not even keep down water to swallow medication so they gave me a shot, an IV-fluid because I was so dehydrated, and a prescription for antibiotics. Despite taking Immodium AD all day long, I am STILL unable to keep food inside of me, 3 days later. I called them and they claim that I am the only one who has called about getting sick from eating dinner there that day. I am very skeptical of this because I went with my parents and both of them got sick too, but not as sick as I was because they only had a taste of what I suspect was the food source of the food poisoning. This large restaurant was PACKED with people, so I suspect there had to be SOMEBODY else who got sick besides my family. I just need to find them. That way I have proof that they have to foot the bill for my emergency medical visit.

This has been our go to Chinese restaurant for years. When I went there recently with my family, the hostess recognized my mother and remembered her name. Not many large restaurants you go to will have that kind of personable staff! They have an excellent selection of sushi. In fact, I would say this is really what separates this restaurant from others. It is also all you can eat. The rest of the buffet is what you would expect from a Chinese buffet, but because it is such a large restaurant, they have a wise variety to choose from. I highly recommend the peanut chicken. E Star is reasonably priced, has a good selection, and if you dont feel like coming a fancy dinner, it is typically open on major holidays as well (Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, etc.)

The food here its decent, very limited options on the buffet, what it gets me its that they hike the price of the buffet on holidays, no explanation, no heads up, they have a sign at the door with the prices, regular buffet for adult its around $9.00, holiday buffet was around $14.00 we ate there this past Monday and it was $30.00 for two person. First and last time we eat there. Forgot to say that the servers walk around with an attitude and when I asked for extra napkins our server looked agitated and said something in her lenguage, I asked to repeat whatever she said in English, but she just walked away. I dont think this place deserves the star at all.

We went to this buffet for a family gathering. Not every adult ate, so they would stand behind them and monitor them; they even got mad at a father for helping his 4 year-old daughter at the buffet. We had reserved the room and they told us to move off certain tables to move more customers in. This was not needed because there were more than enough open tables in the main part of the restaurant. We also told them separate checks, which when we went to the register to get them separated (because they didnt do it) they told us to go back and do it ourselves. We are never giving them our business again, and I would not recommend this place.
