Ive been eating at Brio since it opened. In its earlier years, through 2012 or so, it was one of my favorite places to eat. Wed often have lunch or dinner there with our daughter, and surprise dinner guests friends of my daughter would often join us, making the outing not only a wonderful dining experience, but an excellent way to have fun with my daughter and her friends! We took a hiatus from eating out between 2013 and 2015, due to several family health issues, but we recently went back to Brios expecting the same wonderful experience wed always had. NOT SO. We were so disappointed, we probably will NEVER GO BACK. The food was not of the same quality nor did he dishes have the same taste as earlier. I heard that Brios had been bought out, by whom I have no idea, but unfortunately the new owners had no respect for the great food its previous owners served. Theyve removed a few of my favorite items, and as Ive said before, changed the taste of the sauces to the point that there was no recollection of the original menu items. Sad, The Woodlands had a hit with the original Brio, but now, its turned into a one time disaster visit, never to repeat.

The food is delicious. I highly recommend the pork chops. Yum! Our service was terrible. The hostesses never smiled or said hi. They seated us quickly but it was by a cold door and that wasnt pleasant. No waiter was assigned to us so we sat there for 10-15 minutes before anyone stopped to ask if we had been helped. We then ordered our drinks and met our waiter about 5 minutes later with our drinks. Our bread didnt come out until the food did and refills were hard to come by. Our waiter, and even the manager, walked by several times and didnt come to check on us. When our food was delivered to the table we got no grated cheese offered to us. I wasnt aware they had any until I saw another table get theirs later. When I mentioned this to the waiter at the end of the meal he said "Sorry. Do you want me to bring you some?" At that point we were done with our meal. We paid $80 for our meal and Ive had better service at a burger joint. I doubt well be back. How sad and pathetic that a restaurant of this caliber doesnt know how to treat guests properly.

I was thoroughly amazed today again by my favorite Brios. As a frequent visitor and a favorite restaurant of my wife, I called Brios to order a to-go lunch for my wife who works in a school district and doesnt get business lunches. I expected nothing more than placing my order at 11a when they open. Going over and beyond--- The manager took my call and my order at 10:30a and was going to have it ready by 10:50 (10min prior to lunch opening). I arrived at 10:45 and was greeted with a smile and welcoming staff as the busily finished the prep work for what was sure to be a very busy Valentines Day. The order was delayed only a few minutes but I was very happy to wait. What a blessing when the manager gave the order to me at 11:00a and wished me a happy Valentines Day to me and my wife. The manager didnt / wouldnt charge me because of the wait.... even when I argued to pay! I love our Brios. Best place to eat at the Woodlands Mall!

I accidentally ended up at Brio (I thought my reservation was for Grotto - long story) and Im glad I did. The service here is absolutely phenomenal! I dined with my mother and grandmother a couple of weeks ago during HRW2015 and we were so very well taken care of. They ordered off the Restaurant Weeks menu and I ordered a la carte. Our server was attentive, explained things, gave us plenty of space and time, and never ever left us wanting for anything. The food was clean, simple and light. Everything was fresh and nothing was overpowered by seasonings. AND, the desserts. OH MY! Get the marscapone cheesecake and you wont be disappointed. NOTE: The Woodlands Mall parking lot is going through some construction. Your best parking option is to valet for $7.

It was a slow night, we were one of maybe 3 tables and while the staff was friendly, the drinks took a long time for both rounds, the table was not cleared of appetizers before entrée delivery, no silverware was brought until we asked for it (try spreading butter with no knife and wiping ones mouth without a napkin). For the price, I have higher expectations maybe of a restaurant. Not as bad as my $190 (for two) waste of money at Kirbys, but definitely not a place I plan on visiting. I was at the Cheesecake Factory the week before and was impressed with the quality. And no, I dont work for the Cheesecake Factory, but i do work in the service industry. Ive learned that in the Woodlands, price does not equal quality.

We recently (July 2) celebrated my husbands birthday in your large party room. In April, we celebrated our 50th anniversary in the same room. On our anniversary, we had one of the best waiters weve ever had anywhere. Doug is gracious, personable, professional, and a fantastic waiter. When making arrangements for our July 2 party, he happened to be near; and we asked if he could take care of our next party; and he did. We really think the world of this waiter. We couldnt ask for better service. Having him take care of our guests made the evening even more special. His assistant, Meghan, and the food were good, too.

I love this place. Professional wait staff who know how to treat guests. Great wine selection. Wonderful choice of food especially if youre looking for something light with great flavors. Grilled salmon on a bed of ferro with asparagus is amazing and so light. Portions appear small when they appear in front of you but they are perfect. No bloating feeling when you leave. Just satisfied and relaxed. Perfect dining experience especially when you want a quiet dinner for two or need to entertain guests.

Ordered pasta with grilled chicken on top and fresh salmon. The grilled chicken was clearly a chicken that had already been cooked from a previous day and reheated. It was the driest, oldest chicken breast I had ever tasted. The salmon was ordered medium rare and they completely over-cooked it to well-done. For the price, I expect everything to be made fresh and to order. This is the second time this has happened us, and there wont be a third time.

Sorry to give this restaurant such a low rating but I have to because they dont have clean dining. People who smoke should be the only ones who inhale the noxious gas their cigarettes produce, but this restaurant makes all diners endure it because of their smoking at the bar policy. They are as bad as Chilis or Guadalajara. All other area restaurants are clean. Skip this place and go to Macaroni Grill instead.

We visited for our anniversary and had one of the most amazing dinners! Hubby had shrimp and lobster pasta. I had crab cakes that came with fingerling potatoes and grilled veggies. The waiter knew it was our anniversary and offered us a dessert of our choice! We chose the warm chocolate cake with ice cream... oh. My. Gosh! Yum!! We WILL go back and were so happy we chose to go there for our anniversary.
