I went with my mother for brunch about 3wks after they first opened and will definitely be returning. There was a wait when we arrived, but the hostess couldnt have been friendlier and they had mini muffins and cucumber water complimentary for the guests that were waiting for a table. Unlike the Dallas location, this one does have its liquor license and the drinks are great (beware if you dont like spicy bloody Marys, theirs are HOT) and fair priced for brunch. Once we got sat our server was wonderful, very attentive and upbeat. Even though they were obviously very busy we never once felt forgotten about. The only complaint was that we both ordered different Benedicts that the eggs were slightly over cooked, but when our server (I wish I could remember her name, she was great and only works 2 days a week) came to check back on us right after dropping off the food and us bringing it to her attention, she immediately took them back and had them fixed. It impressed me that it was obviously a brand new order when we got our corrected plates, even the side had been remade instead of just switching out the egg like some places may have done. The manager came over to speak with us after we got the replacements and was very kind and apologized for the mistake, you could tell he obviously cares about the guests experience. When we finished eating (every single bite!) our server brought the check and informed us that the manager had taken care of both of our meals, that we were only going to be charged for our drinks. Absolutely stunned! Ive never had a restaurant go so above and beyond before, I just couldnt believe they would do that. I would absolutely go back to this location again and recommend it to others. Side note: I worked in restaurants for 6yrs, so Im very picky, this place is awesome though.

It sounds like this place needs to get a new computer system. My family came here on Mothers Day and sadly it was a disappointment. We reserved a table online and were seated over an hour past our time slot given. The gentlemen up at the front (who I assume was also the manager?) kept telling us we were next multiple times, however all we could see were other parties being seated before us. Finally an hour and 15 minutes past our reserved time we were seated - hungry, but none the less just happy to be finally seated. Over 30 minutes after we ordered our food we were told the computer system went down and it would just be a few more minutes. When we finally received our food an hour after ordering it was cold. One person in my party didnt even get his food and when they brought his meal out it was totally wrong. Although our meal was comped I am surprised the manager didnt come by and say anything to our table. Had it not been for our sweet waitress who apologized over and over for the disappointing experience (I want to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was all out of her control) I probably wouldnt come back. On a side note, my salmon power bowl was extremely tasty and I might just order to go next time.

The service was good but still shaky from having just opened. You could tell they had a support team there from other ABECs to help out. The menu had a good selection. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict and it was delicious. The coffee was fresh and rich, Waffle House Coffee is a 3, this coffee is a 7 at least. You can order alcohol here, it looks like they push the Mimosas and Bloody Marys to the Brunch Crowd. I also saw an Espresso Machine behind the bar but did not see any specialty coffees on the menu, they were probably on there I just was not looking. Overall, a good alternative in TC to Jimmys Egg and IHOP.

Very poor customer service from the hostess. He initially told us that there would be a 40 min wait...after 40 minutes we went back to the hostess station and tells us that it would be an additional 45 minutes. Now I understand that you are busy but if you have a wait the best thing to do is would be to let your guests know that it may be a longer wait. Check in with us...instead after waiting for almost an hour we had to go and check in on our wait time. That is unacceptable. So we just went across the street to another restaurant. I will never visit this location again. Plus it has a "B" rating. No thanks

Went in for a lovely brunch with my gf , got Seated at 11:30, an hour and a half goes by and our food still isnt ready. Oh, a couple who got seated after us got their food before us (they ordered the same thing as us). My girlfriend and I are usually very patient, we understand mistakes happen and sometimes things take longer than expected. But damn, that experience really ruined our afternoon. We were very hungry to begin with as well. We just left to go grab some fast food somewhere. I can honestly say I will not go back unless Ive already eaten, and I have a good 2 and a half hours to kill.

Granted it was a busy Saturday so waiting was OK. However, we waited over 30 minutes for our order! We suspected that something was up when staff members were huddled together. The couple adjacent to us who came in somewhat later than we, received their order which caused us to wonder. A fellow came over to us and said that wed be getting our order soon. When we questioned him, he replied that their computer went down. Computers do things sequentially, so how come an order that went in after ours came out sooner. We felt that he was not leveling with us. "Honesty is the best policy."

The food here is pretty solid, and the portions are decent. However, the wait time was about 45 minutes, and it seemed like the servers werent doing much to hustle to get more people served. Our food came out quickly after being ordered, and Ill be going back, maybe on a weekday. It was a tad pricey for a breakfast joint, but I think thats pretty common in the area.

The staff is so slow and it was not very busy, I just think its poorly managed. They had empty tables and had 2 people sitting in a 6 pack table. We told our waitress that we were ready to order and she took our drinks and went about her business. It appeared that the kitchen was behind. I would not recommend this place, its on the pricey end and the service is lousy.

Fantastic breakfast/brunch option with plenty of healthy entrees. First timers get a free set of biscuit beignets (DELICIOUS) and the cold brew coffee is awesome. Some of my favorite items are the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancake, cold brew coffee, city grits (basically a loaded baked potato, except grits), and Hey Lucy! Omlette!

We waited more than a half hour for food that was mediocre and overpriced. $10.99 for two breakfast "taquitos" that were just small tacos. It isnt very often we go someplace and actually feel ripped off--another broken egg achieved that. Wont be back. There are better, more reasonably priced breakfast places in the area.

Another Broken Egg - The Colony is 2 thumbs up It didnt disappoint. We ate the Sandestine, Fl location first and this one is just as great. Call ahead to get on the wait list bc the food is awesome and the lines are long but it is large portions and well worth the wait!!! Also "A" rated Resturant
