Rockfish has a casual, fun atmosphere - classic rock and top 40 music plays in the background, patio outside has live music in the evenings - misters in the summer so it is tolerable for patrons dining outside. The prices are reasonable but the food is only average at best. We split the appetizer sampler - comes with shrimp swallowed up by the usual jalapeno poppers with semi-melted cheddar cheese, a seafood fondue or spinach gouda dip (we chose the seafood fondue which appeared void of any seafood) and Fire Island Shrimp, which was the best of the trio - lightly fried shrimp in a garlic chili sauce - very tasty. For entrees I had fish and chips and my companion had the stuffed flounder. My fish and chips was very large in portion - almost could have fed two people. Fish was fine - nothing spectacular but not awful, waffle fries crispy. Accompanying tarter sauce was nothing more than sweetened mayonnaise - not good at all (opted for the malt vinegar at the table instead), cole slaw bland. The fish my companion ordered was very bland (supposedly stuffed with crab, shrimp, sausage, and Ritz crackers - all I could taste was a faint hint of sausage. Overall disappointing, other than the price.

the reason why these restaurants food taste the same is because they specialize in deep-fried foods. any variant of fish, shrimp, etc when fried will taste the same specially if fried in the same deep-frier. so expect your catfish, tilapia, mahi-mahi and others to just taste the same. you will not be able to distinguish the difference. this restaurant has plenty of side dishes though, which is good. service is superb! a little tricky when coming in with more than 7 people. id recommend this resto if youre with a not-so-discriminating group of people. oh by the way, they also burgers.

Delicous Food! Rude service(I tried multiple times, months apart to make sure wasnt just a bad day). If you arent dressed like you have $, they kind of ignore you to an extent. They serve you but, you have to keep waving them down for anything. 2 of the times I went were after 1pm, lunch crowd was thinning. No reason for slack. I came in work attire(plain polo with slacks), clean & well kept but, always seem to get same service(dont go in if you look like you work for your money).

Went there to past the time. Bartender was friendly and was very easy to talk to. The service seemed a bit slow from time to time but overall a friendly-family environment. Ordered the Seafood Enchiladas. Food was so-so as well. Wouldnt mind coming back to try something else again. Its worth a stop.

Okay food. Creme brulee the worst ive ever had! Its burned & it looks like left over from somebody plate, its as thin as paper. Not good! & plz to all the waiters ask if they r done before u take our drinks! Dont know y u r in a rush when the restaurant is empty :(

Let down. Everything on the menu *used* to be GREAT. We ordered the bisque and it looks like a semi-warm blob from a Campbells soup can. We tried to share the seafood enchiladas; the shrimp were crunchy and the sauce was an orangey slimy muck. Cmon yall.

Not a bad place, but service is off and on. Went once last year and the hostess looked at us funny and said "theres quite a long wait... you might want to try somewhere else." So we gladly walked over to Mi Cocina and had a great dinner.

Awesome food and outstanding service!! I am having the Wild Alaskan Samon cakes and my wife is having Alaskan Fish n Chips. Best that we have found outside of England herself! Very fresh and zero fishy smell or flavor. Will be back!

I do like the atmosphere at Rockfish, I always seem to get happier when I come in this place. They have really good and inventive specials, I do not think I have ever had a bad meal here. The big circular booths are fun.

Probably the worst Cajun and see food I ever experienced. Dont waste your money. How can they mess up every single dish we ordered ? 5 people we couldnt even finish one dish.
