Where do I start? I went with my boyfriend and his mother to this place for the first time. His mother and I cannot eat any fried food. I opted for the salmon steak. My boyfriend had a burger with fries AND he asked for green beans on the side. His mother ordered GRILLED fish with grilled shrimp. Now im not a fan of having to get your own order, I mean isnt this the reason for going to a restaurant is to have everything taken care of for you? But that is not the reason for my review. Right away my boyfriend noticed that he didnt get his fries, we tried to get someone to correct the mistake. However, we were denied the chance to do so. His mothers food was soaked in oil and fried, the shrimp were dried and WAY over salted. My salmon was not even cooked all the way, the spinach I ordered was just terrible and covered in butter. When my boyfriend complained about our meal, the only thing they had to say was Im sorry, but we cant do anything about it. Not even our money back or half off. This whole experience was just awful from the moment we stepped inside the place. I HATE leaving bad reviews, but come on! You do not treat customers the way we were treated!

As a food snob... This place is FANTASTIC and CONSISTENT. Dont be mean... There not perfect, but Im amazed at how professional and pleasant their staff is from top to bottom every time Ive been (4). The food is very good - 10 of 10 usually for what it is. Theres a really good sampler platter that could serve two that I usually get. This time I got the Lemon pepper fish & grilled shrimp. Great. TVs everywhere (10?), typically no sound, but theyll put it on at request if it doesnt bother other guests. Came in 15 minutes before close once and they treated me like a VIP, not like an enemy or terrorist as many establishments do when trying to go home. Food was cooked hot and fresh. Professional service & food made with care means everything to me. The environment is just icing on the cake.

Never been disappointed in the many times weve eaten at this location. Quality of food, garnisment, & temperature served is always consistent. My favorite is the Seafood Platter which offers a variety of sea food: oysters, jumbo shrimp, fish, crab cake, & a stuffed shrimp for under $14.00. The staff is well trained. No questions asked or customer claims disputed in serving the customer to make the order right. Their Key Lime Pie for $2.99 is outstanding. (Our pie was Free with s Val Pak Coupon)

Im sorry but this is not good seafood. Every time Ive been here its been gross. I seriously think Long John Silvers has better seafood and theyre the McDonalds of seafood. The food is always super greasy or poorly seasoned and the place is always dingy and dirty feeling. Food is either overcooked or undercooked and you can tell its frozen crap from a bag. The soda/ice dispensers look like they dispense germs more than anything. The whole place, including the food reminds me of a cafeteria.

The service was nice and simple (you get a buzzer after you order so you can get it). However, the food was awful! I havent experienced worse seafood. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and they were COLD. My husband ordered the shrimp pasta and that was literally the worst tasting shrimp pasta. NO FLAVOR. We also ordered the coconut shrimp for an appetizer, that was also a complete disappointment; for almost $7 it wasnt worth it. I cant say it enough, WORST MEAL EVER.

Five stars, not because it was the best seafood I have ever eaten. But because the food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. And the staff were all so friendly and so helpful! To me going to a place to eat goes beyond just the food. Yes, of course the food is the most important part. But when the staff is so friendly, and they all go out of their way to make you feel welcomed, and to serve you, somehow the food just seems to taste better as well!

Todays visit was not a good one. Long wait for food (45 minutes). The restaurant was not crowded so the wait should not have been this long. My fries were lukewarm and soggy. The spinach was practically room temperature. Fish and shrimp were also lukewarm. Dont know whats going on but this is not the Sea Island I am accustomed to. Customer service, waitstaff , were minimal. Yolanda Turner

I eat out almost every night. Sea Island is one of my favorites. The location at Agoura Parkway is my ultimate favorite because of Willie, the nighttime manager. If you have any problem whatsoever Willy will make it right! Out of all the restaurants I go to Ive never had a manager so attentive to the staff and customers,! Willie needs to be GM. and customers and taking care of everyone.

First visit (lunch). Time in app. 1:15. Order time 1:17. Order out 1:30. Ordered lunch fried fish & shrimp and Aransas Platter (fried fish, fried shrimp, 2 stuffed shrimp, okra and fries). Food temp was fair. Nothing "hot" out of kitchen (maybe not cooked order?). Good taste but everything was cold before we could finish it. Popular place with the locals. Very friendly staff.

Had an order to go for 6 people and everyone had special requests. Everything we asked for was there and perfectly done. All the food was perfectly cooked as well. The manager Amanda Nolin was very polite and professional. I am a regular and will be coming back for years to come. Thank you Sea Island!!

The whole system there is messed up. Would be better with normal system for wait staff. Too crowded to be getting your own drinks, lady behind counter where they give out food was rude to my husband on Fathers day when he told them we had ordered 2 kids meals and didnt get them...not going back.

Sea Island will definitely see my family and I more often. The food and service were excellent. We havent had it this good in a seafood resturaunt for a very long time. It was a pleasure to dine in. Our hats off to Mr. Willie (manager) and his staff for a memorable dining experience.

Consistently amazing, my favorite seafood restaurant! Love that it isnt decorated like the other seafood places (pirate / ocean themed) - you can take a date here. Wait staff has always been helpful and nice restrooms have always been clean in my experience.

Food is good, but they need to clean better. It wasnt busy, yet there was food on the floor. The first three tables I approached had crumbs on them. I watched the bus boy clear tables in my section. Not once did he wipe off any of the tables.
