The food quality is going down the tubes. RL use to be a great place to eat but if youre a long time customer you too will realize that they are skimping big time and losing pride in their product. The presentations use to be great, the shrimp scampi was carefully arranged in the serving dish and the portions were bigger. Now the prices are higher, they throw the shrimp scampi into the serving dish and call it a day. The salads never seem to be fresh if you even want to call it a salad. They skimp on the tomatoes, no longer include the ring of red onion and the service sucks especially during the endless shrimp. If youre a water drinker take your own because they dont filter it here or they never change the filters. It had terrible dirty pipe taste on top of it being bad McAllen water. They make it a point to let you wait forever for your refill so you can give up, ask for the check and leave. Whoever bought the franchise did it a big disservice.

The atmosphere at Red Lobster is typical chain restaurant. I had a craving for fried shrimp and succumbed unwisely to my desires. The food is okay, but I find that they are a bit heavy with butter, coatings and sauces. My assumption is that they are trying to enhance a lower quality of seafood. I did manage to avoid the biscuits for which I apparently have an addiction. If I have a single crumb I devour several. Mty primary complaint is that their offerings are calorically very high. Wine selection could also use an upgrade.

Plenty of fried fish options. Fried options are less expensive than non fried like Lobster or catch of the day. Everything is good. I came in for baked salmon with steamed sides. Two dollars off during lunch 11am - 3pm. Moderate lunch crowd. Waited less than two minutes before we were seated. Party of two.

Food was terrible. Frozen fish & shrimp. My husband had the chicken pasta, was not good. No flavor to the food. But, the biscuits & the fudge over board was excellent. My granddaughters chicken strips were good. Service was helpful & very good.

Had the four course dinner. Clam showder and shrimp pasta alfredo. Well prepared! Shrimp were tender not overcooked. Bisquits were fresh. Best was Abbys service excellent.

Visited during a less busy hour of the day and enjoyed my experience. Everyone was friendly and prompt. Restrooms needed attending, however otherwise very enjoyable!
